Alpha sigma$12THE BEST PODCAST I EVER LISTENED TOO⭐️I’m am new to listening to podcasts and I love true crime so I started listening to this podcast and I LOVE IT, I love how they go in to GREAT detail and I show my friends and now we all listen to the podcast, and for some reason it helps me sleep😴
-
Shanimal79My all time favorite podcast!!!I love your content, your flow, and I especially love how brutally detailed you guys get with some of the episodes! So many podcasts leave out the disturbing parts because it’s too “triggering” but I love being triggered because it makes me feel like my life is a walk in the park and I have it all together. I hope you both continue your podcast forever because I’ve listened to almost every single episode and I can’t get enough of you guys! I especially love your voices. There’s so many podcasts I want to listen to but I just can’t tolerate the way the hosts speak or the pace. This is literally one of the only podcasts that I can listen to all day and I appreciate all the hard work you both put in to every episode!!

AdnamayakMispronounced WordsI love the show but so many words are mispronounced, which distracts listeners, calls into question your credibility, and can be perceived as disrespectful. Today you mispronounced the Native American tribe Navajo. Instead of the correct NAA-vuh-ho, you said Nuh-VA-ho. Really?! If unsure, just ask Google how to pronounce unfamiliar words.
-
jacquimeekerThank youI love this podcast! I am often moved to tears. I am so grateful that Colin and Courtney bring attention to the cases they choose. Thank you for bringing attention to underserved communities and people of color. Thank you for the compassion, care, kindness and respect you give to the families of victims.
-
Matt_B_WDoes the hostess have a speech impediment? Why do so many podcasters feel they need a “trademark” voice? Her contrived, cartoonish child’s voice makes listening for long impossible. What’s with the fake “r” pronunciation?
-
Martijrod99Love it!The greatest podcast ever. I adore the vocals and story telling.
-
Keruk1Best true crimeBest true crime show ever! Very in depth and informative. I’ve listened to almost all of the episodes and I just wish there were more. Great job!!
-
Snatchy LopezIlliterate HostsIf you care enough about the people to create a podcast then learn to properly pronounce the names of the people, places and things. Then it wouldn’t be so obvious that your interest is passing and superficial.
-
ChandlersAGirlGreatPretty new to the pod, found on Tik Tok, and it's really really well done. My pet peeve (weird as it is) is that Disneyland is the Happiest Place on Earth. Disney World is the most MAGICAL place on earth. I've heard you mis reference it a few times on a couple episodes now.Also- the female host sounds dehydrated on a number of episodes. The gross sounds her lips makes are indication of this

RbernalrodArizona: Emily PikeGood stories but specifically in the latest case, there is information missing on Emily Pike’s case. Just this week has been disclosed that she was removed from her home by social services, due to an alleged report of a family member raping her. This might be the reason she struggled with mental health. The issue is, that there was never a formal investigation into this report.
-
catluverrrBest crime podcast out there!!I love the balance between host thank you for covering Emily Pike!!!! I love the balance between host commentary and actual audio recordings, Courtney and Colin both have such perfect podcast host voices too! 10/10 love this podcast!!!
-

Kmo71276Phenomenal Reporting!!!First, I just wanted to say that both of your voices are sooo soothing to listen too! Second, your stories are second to none as they are so thorough and put together so well!! If I were your teacher I would give you both A+++’s!!! I’ve listened to a million true crime podcasts and yours truly stands out among the very finest!! Keep up the great work!!
-
dfjfixGreat showOne of my favorite true crime shows! Definitely look forward to each new episode
-
ProbablyhungryorsomethingAbsolutely amazingThey go into extreme detail when it comes to the cases mentioned in the episodes. They use EVERY. SINGLE. Bit of info from before the crime to the aftermath. I listen to every new episode, I fall asleep to it, I listen to it while working, it’s just so horribly calming. If you’re looking for an amazing true crime podcast you’ve come to the right place.
-
Karesha CFavoriteDefinitely one of my favorite podcasts!
-
Cdx30AmazingI absolutely love Courtney and Colin. I love how much time and effort they put into their education and respect for the families in the cases they cover

RasmasLRMIA - Where facts comes outIt’s an about the unfortunates once who’s story lot of us never knew or never even imagine or watched a show about . Love you guys the stories you’ll expose in. Living in America sometimes it feels almost impossible or unbelievable but we know those things happens. Would you guys please ever do a super concentrated and verifiable fact with url link to see historically what kinda of human are mostly performing this heinous crime. In terms of following: Citizen of the country, Skin Color, Sex, Ethnicity (might be repetitive). I think the current climate of generation has a right to know this facts.
-
Sarie R Jbest true crime pod out thereI’ve found myself intrigued by true crime podcasts. After listening to Murder In America, I’m having a *very* hard time finding any others that tell stories in such a gripping way with such detail. Kudos! 5⭐️
-
bbhihiiiilove itlove this true crime podcast! they keep it to the point and factual and that’s what i love. just wish we could hear some more recent stories in the future episodes!
-
n11ckiii love this podcast sm!!!!!i love this podcast
-
leelee204020Murder in AmericaThank you for such a great listen! You make my work day better! I enjoy the details in all your stories. I wish there was a way to contact you about a story that is in my husband family that is very interesting.
-
JsfriendOne of my favoritesI love the narrators- they have great cadence which is why I love this podcast. There are a some editing issues and editorializing - (how a victim feels before being murdered is often described - (how do they know what a now deceased victim felt/thought in their last moments unless reliance is placed on the perpetrator’s view (so minus 1 ⭐️). I initially rolled my eyes when Colin tied in some paranormal perspective but it doesn’t really bother me because they are both respectful to the victim’s family & friends. I do think the intro music could be shortened.
-
CDC1265I love this podcastI listen to many true crime podcast, but this one is by far my favorite.
-
GvhbjnkfThe stories are good but…..I like most of the stories they cover, but Courtney should be the only one with a mic. Colin is annoying.
-
Emilyfaye83Love this podcast! Was so excited to see today’s podcast was covering a local case. The Bible’s deserve to have their daughter and her best friend brought home and finally put to rest.
-
Creecree69Love this podcastOne of the better podcast I listen too. I love Courtney and Collins voices. It makes the podcast easy to listen too.
-
PuduKakaThe bestEasily the best podcast ever, how they tell the stories and all the effects are top tier.
-
ExistentialiWritingThe repeated usage of "unbeknownst", "interestingly enough", and "anyways" cheapens the otherwise interesting narrative for me. Also, implying decisions made by individuals in these stories (not during the commission of crime) is one in which they were "forced" lacks all nuance. "She was forced to move into a shelter", "he was forced to find a different job". Life happens and tough decisions must be made to adapt, sometimes resulting in a lesser standard of living. One can be forced into a car during a kidnapping, but saying someone was "forced" to sell their home for example is naive and lacks accountability imo.
-
SmallMomoftwoOne Really Great PodcastThe stories that this couple shares is amazing! They hit all the details, they take their time with the production of their podcasts. Plus they give plenty of relatable content that involves this story they are sharing. To tell a story that is over 2hrs , most podcasters won’t do it, but Murder In America, they do it! And they do it for us!! The listeners. Thank you for everything you all do for your fans.
-
BrotaylorshereLove this podcast!I love how in depth the stories are and how much effort y'all put into this show, it definitely shows!
-
tinobabe24Great showfound this show and love it
-
ayodude__Has became midI’ve been listening for over a year now and the production has became lazier and lazier as the episodes have progressed, it seems like they don’t listen to the final product because if they did they would notice how certain lines repeat, certain audio is cut off. It’s just the little thing that are annoying.
-
XxxfftPlagiaristsThey copied the “Broomstick Killer” episode from Timesuck. Certainly parts are almost word for word.
-
althibbieGreat True Crime podcastThis podcast is one of my faves, but it needs much better editing. Putting ads in the middle of a sentence and playing whole segments twice makes it difficult to follow.
-
SueBeeHoney63Excellent ResearchA friend sent me the link to Murder In America. Excellent researchers. Very detailed and tell the cases with respect of the victims.
-
SomethingforalwaysLazy Editing & Vain HostsThe editing has gotten awful on this, used to like it. Now the audio will skip, or lines will repeat. Originally when I listened to this show, it didn’t bother me that much when they would promote items or themselves but now I feel like every episode Collin is begging people to check out his other podcast or to give them reviews and when he talks about himself it’s always in a braggadocious way.
-
msad3Lazy ProductionGoodness, do better. Repetition of audio files and I gotta ask, do ya listen to them? Pronunciations are said correctly in sources but butchered by hostess. Yikes
-
iR242Stumbled On This By ChanceStumbled on this show by chance and immediately fell in love with it. The show is in depth and it keeps my attention straight through it’s written really good. For me to listen to a podcast the hosts voices and the sound/music of the show as to be good and this show gets 10/10
-
GiocomomoGreat podcastExtremely compelling and I recommend for all true crime lovers
-
RA1280Amy lynn bradleyJust a note. the dad won the cruise through work no? Wasnt mentioned. Also she bought * a dog, not adopted it. Language matters.
-
great app for video editingStarted off strongStarted off strong but now feels like they rely too much on interrogation audio or other audio. I find myself rolling my eyes a lot now when Colin speaks.
-
samsoudersGreat content, but ads have become more and more frequentI’ve listened for years happily. But lately, it’s literally every 5 minutes I’m listening to ads. I understand having to monetize, but when it reaches the point where there is just as much ad time as there is show time, it gets to be too much.
-
KotLC&HPfanLunaLovegoodSadAll of these are sad. They’re told well though. I’ve gone through a lot of suffering, but these things go beyond my emotional capacity. How do these people do it?
-
katircat90My favorite podcast!Courtney & Colin put out the best episodes! They always get straight to the story and don’t ramble. Any true crime fan would love this podcast!
-
GirlNextDoor1989I hate the interviewsEverything about this show is great except for the long interviews and police interrogation clips. Please just stick to the storytelling. We don’t want to hear interviews from family.
-
BeeCuzThatsWhy👍🏾Great research & pod…

Cat and kitten lover0946Dominated by speculation & personal biasI’ve listened to many of the episodes, and the biggest take away from the entirety of the podcast is that much of what’s presented is speculative at best. Episode 178-179 and today’s follow up episode (3/7/25) show tremendous bias regarding the victim’s husband and law enforcement. The entire part of the podcast where they’re talking about having collected evidence that law enforcement failed to gather because they never searched the husband’s home, shows complete ignorance to chain of custody, rule of law, 4th amendment protections for everyone, including those accused of criminal activity, etc. Just because someone is thought to have committed a crime does not mean there is actual probable cause for a judge to sign off on a warrant to search and seize someone’s house or property. On top of this, the warrant would need to define certain artifacts law enforcement is searching and possibly seizing if found. Just because someone believed a crime happened, does not mean a warrant will be written or approved and it’s definitely not a blank canvas, regardless of what these “documentary/investigative” podcasters have seen on Law and Order or CSI. I’ve had enough of this junk show. Unfollow. Remove Downloads.
