I don't love it haterBEST PODCASTThis is by far the best crime podcast i’ve listened to. I’ve binged about twenty episodes in just the last week! I listen ALL the time
-
JuiceesmileThank youI survived a kidnapping attempt at 6, a dear friend was murdered two hours after I spoke to him, and another friend has seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth. Please never stop sharing the stories of those who no longer have a voice. I believe this generation will bring us answers.

Nat41312Good podcastas someone who loves a good crime story this podcast is worth listening to no complaints
-
Sassy Jackie 101My favoriteI love Crime Junkies and The Deck!!!! The only complaint I have is that there just isn’t enough!!! Oddly I fall asleep listening to the shows, so it’s hard to know which ones I’ve fully heard, so I listen again when driving, cleaning, doing homework and any other chance I get!!!

bellyfyder20 minutes of podcast, 20 minutes of adsThe amount of ads is distasteful. I understand podcasts/ content creators needing to monetize to be able to get these stories out, but the amount of ad placements is ridiculous. They have to be marking BANK off of victim’s stories. Crazy.

VicRuibKeeps me company 🥰I work weird hours, mostly nights. Ashley & Brit keep me company on my weird hours when I binge! I laugh, cry, say “oh my god what?!” So also, they keep me awake when I’m driving late! Thank you for being so amazing and giving all these victims a voice and a platform for us Crime Junkies to help! Best podcast for so many reasons!
-
CTurekAmazingI’ve been catching up since last fall. Love it so much. Amazing content. Ironically, the first episode I listened to was Jody Huisenteuit from Mason City, IA. I grew up in that area so it was all so familiar. Been hooked since!
-
sjlrmOmgI like the show it’s interesting but HATE that is has so many “ commercial” breaks. Why!!!! The podcast would be better if it had less and longer episodes.
-
MoonnjWay to Go!I just read Audiochuck funded the DNA research for the 1975 Indiana Slasher case. You’ve kept me as a listener. Keep up the good work!
-
thedude7911AmazingAbsolutely lose this show I don’t know how anybody couldn’t I listen to it everyday and it’s really helped me to take my Mind off things and give me something else to think about.
-
podcastermiFour starsI enjoy this podcast aside from the political correctness. Curious if in the future drug dealers will be called “drug workers” like “sex workers.” Renaming illegal behavior it doesn’t change what it is nor the associated stigma.
-
SquishlitaOUTSTANDING!! 😁It is very nice, entertaining, this my favorite to listen to on long car rides and when you clean and even if I'm bored. I have been a listener since the beginning and as a fan of true crime this really is my favorite podcast. Thank you to Brett and Ashley for taking the time to make these cases solved. I have become more aware of being safe after listening to every single episode you guys are truly amazing. Thank you.

jstew712Stop yellingWhy is the host yelling she needs to calm down
-
Xshopkick AddictAshley is a fraud, a plagiarizer and a grifterSo fake and contrived. Spewing dangerous what if's without understanding the entirety of the crimes they speak about. These 2 are unprofessional and unethical twits. Not to mention Ashley has plagiarized several different journalists verbatim. She's getting rich off people who did all of the real work and taking credit for it. She's a white woman so nobody bats an eye!
-
Ava_VaughnThank you!I have been listening to this podcast since o was 6-7 and I love it with all of my heart! I’m 12 now and I can’t wait for more! I just started listening to the first episodes now I’m going up! I would also recommend Sword and Scale for those who like true crime! Also Ashley Flowers and Britt are hilarious sometimes and serious yet I listen to much and get paranoid sometimes! 10/10 !!

RMW1987LoveI adore this show, love listening to it on my hour long commute twice a week. It really keeps my mind occupied. Ashley puts so much work into learning about and then retelling these cases and she really sounds so well researched and like she knows her stuff. Brit sounds like a great person and I hate to say anything negative, but it’s painfully obvious that she has no education past high school and sometimes her input can be very cringey or annoying. You can tell as episodes go on that her responses are more scripted, which has definitely been for the best, because earlier on when she was left to just decide how to respond at random, she sounded very uninformed and honestly somewhat unintelligent, naive even, and it really threw me off and detracted from the show.
-
KiagaiTrue CrimeIn a space that is inherently unethical, Crime Junkie does a great job supporting victims and their families. Unlike other podcasters who simply making money off of their stories. Leave Brit alone she is a great addition to the show.
-
Bsn1106I’m 13 and love your podcast and cannot stop listening to it 😂Brecken

The High GravGossip at its worst…Two completely unqualified people blabbering on mostly about how police and law enforcement professionals are typically the ones to blame for unsolved cases. I gave this show a chance many times but I cannot listen to anymore in good conscience.

CatDaddysWifeRespect what you do❤️I have been a listener since the beginning!! I am a single mom of two kids, and listening to Ashley’s podcast with Britt as always, has brought so much attention to my awareness with my children! But not only just my kids , myself too! And other kids and people too. I super admire and respect what these ladies do! And all the cases that have been helped because of this podcast is just tremendous. ALSO, what I LOVE is the idea of a “If I Go Missing Folder” ALL THANKS to this podcast on which I TOTALLY have made for both my children and I!!! And I super recommend it for everyone who listens and spread the word about it! My brothers and sisters don’t know it, but I am definitely in the process of making them each “if I go missing folder” as well!! Merry Christmas siblings. Lol. Anyway I can’t recommend this podcast enough. I do it to all my friends and family. I love listening to you guys. I do it whenever I’m in the car whenever I drop the kids off at school and on my way home waiting for the next episode, you ladies are truly amazing. God bless!!! Also, my Twitter is @AmandaJohn166 please forgive me. I am never on my Twitter, so it’s definitely not up-to-date or anything like that, but I would totally rock the CrimeJunkies merch if I am picked!!! Much love ❤️❤️❤️

-
IehebjdnEhLove listening to true crime podcast and begun following multiple random suggested pods on my feed. This was one and was pretty good when I first listened but as I continued to follow and listen…I couldn’t anymore. People complain about vocal fry but I’d rather have that than the fake enthusiastic and strange fake surprise voice through every episode. It was a thumbs up for me in the beginning but 👎🏼.
-
Ebean:)I love it!Crime junkie was the first true crime podcast I found and listened to, and I really love their content! I have listened to many other true crime podcasts before and crime junkie is by far one of the best I’ve found. I always listen in on the new episodes and am so excited when I see a new one out! I listen in the car, while I’m baking, and even while doing homework. I love this podcast sm and totally recommend listening to it!

Aisha.chiGreat podcast - disappointed by lack of cultural researchI love crime junkie and have been a fan for some time now. They do an amazing job and research everything really well - which is why I’m surprised after hearing the Talwar episode that takes place in India. The lack of cultural awareness and research is sad. In India it’s so ridiculously hot, and there’s not really central cooling - there’s a main door that shuts all the way - in India that’s usually left open and then there a gate type door in front of it that’s usually closed or you can lock at night but still have open to let air in. It’s not a dumb set up as Brit put it. Secondly, India police as not as up to date as US police in terms of forensic education, resources - they usually don’t care or if they do, the job isn’t as meticulous. Security guards are the first people you usually reach out to, since they guard your neighborhood and home and can be there immediately. Lastly India is a collective culture/society. If you’re not living in a joint family system, then you’re still extremely close to your relatives- you can’t go through something and not involve them. They play a huge role in raising you, in your life and that whole term “it takes a village” is the best way to describe it. I turned off the episode after the first 20mins - sad.

NicoleRLopezMy favorite! This is my favorite podcast. I can’t stop listening! You girls are awesome!
-
Duhnay81LoveI started listening to Crime Junkie after I finished the “I survived” podcast. I listen to this all day at work! A couple of my coworkers started listening to it as well!
-
Grace KochHealing my Broken SoulI really enjoy true crime and hearing about the procedures and processes of solving heinous acts and bringing justice to forgotten victims. This is the ONE AND ONLY platform (podcast, book, show, or movie) that respects and honors the victims while sharing their stories, including those that are still with us and surviving. I’m a survivor of two heinous delinquents; Ashley and Brit are so caring and empathetic about the real people affected by these crimes - the victims - they’re what matter the most and those are the names we should remember. A lot of the true crime community seems to be romanticizing the evil of these men and women, Crime Junkie’s team brings a voice back to the victim and shames the failure of communities that don’t stand behind survivors and those that have passed. I will say there are still traumatizing cases that I can’t listen through but knowing how much focus and attention they are bringing to the victims and their families makes it a little easier to listen. Thank you Brit and Ashely; you have double handed healed so much of trauma just knowing that good-hearted people out there are listening and wanting justice. Stay suspicious, stay weird, stay alive <3

Justinmj10Gone wokeUsed to be an absolute great podcast. That is untill they went woke and stated using cisgender and all the other stupid made up terms people use recently to divide our country even more. Shame on you Crime Junkie. Though your were better than that
-
Sidster1799Almost all adsLike the show overall but so tired of it being 1/3 ads
-

Hehe-what is life’s purpose?Love itThis is my fav podcast. The stories are intense and crazy but it's very interesting to listen too. Don't get me wrong it's a bit crazy and scary, but it helps me calm down from my depression and anxiety. So in all this is such a good podcast and community.
-
Sdestineyamazingi’ve been listening to it while i am at work. it’s so addicting. these girls are freaking amazing. since i’ve been caught up on all episodes , i always look forward to work on mondays so i can listen to the new episodes that comes out. keep up the amazing work. it doesn’t go unnoticed at all. LOVE IT!!!
-
TiffbonIt’s okay.I like it, but I am always left with the feeling that the co-host Britt adds nothing to the show. she can’t even provide her full name, just “and I’m Britt”…. It comes off lazy and like she didn’t care to even be there. Ashley Flowers does a great job with research and story telling and she single handily holds the show up. Britt could go home and this show would be exactly the same. Sorry Britt I’m sure your great, but maybe provide more to the story then just part of your first name and an unnecessary usually overly frustrated question here and there. You act like you are an expert and you know better then law enforcement. Britt seems like the kind of person that would be at a protest holding signs and yelling but then have no idea what the actual cause is. Just go home Britt.
-
Mrs. DespyGet rid of BrittPlease it’s so good without her. She’s annoying. She just inserts random words “what?” Here and there. She exclaims annoying while Ashley is reading the story. I just don’t get why she hasn’t been removed yet. It would be 5 stars without her.
-
Flower45power65Too much nonsenseThought I liked this podcast but not impressed with political issues, ads and how it’s not accurate, doing surface research and maybe plagiarism is not something I will listen to. Update: still not presenting facts, go somewhere else
-
KtbadbBest crime podcast!!I love this podcast SOOOO MUCH
-
DeacRippsWoke“We don’t know how they identify so we don’t want to misgender”. 😂😂😂. Good grief !! Yet in most episodes we discuss the sketch that is clearly a man or DNA that indicates a man without taking into account their “gender identity”. 😂😂😂. Clearly gender isn’t fluid. It’s not even “assigned”. At birth sex is discovered and declared. This is how it should go: Ashley: “but there is a witness that NEVER lies!!” Brit: “Oh my gosh…there’s DNA!!!??” Ashley: “yes, we KNOW the sex of the killer/victim/eye witness!!” Brit: “oh, I love science!!”
-
MeinUSCan’t listenI listened to an entire episode to give it a chance (because it was terrible from minute two) but the number of times they said “like” was enough for me to want to go insane. Also it was so contrived (“I know you haven’t seen the pictures yet so here you go…” pause…) terrible
-
12345Nikkiname12345Used to loveTrying to be too PC. Can’t make everyone happy. Take a page from Sword and Scale and stop with the PC stories. We’ve quit listening.
-
8RelyTTyler8I like it but…I enjoy the show. Sometimes it’s frustrating when the show ends as a cold case, but I understand the point of bringing attention to the case. Ashley could do this show by herself. I really don’t know what Britt brings to the table. I feel like she makes a lot of bad assumptions and ask unnecessary questions, especially when Ashley is in the process of explaining something. Maybe it’s scripted this way. It really seems like Britt’s only contribution is gasping, “what?” multiple times throughout the episode. Maybe she she thinks she needs a catchphrase. Regardless, I don’t really understand her role on this show.
