It’s like I was listening to an episode created by the Onion. Hilarious, scary, depressing, brutal, and infuriating. But seriously are you serious? Profound irony and great respect for the humor and for calling out the hypocrisy like this. Or maybe he’s the insider and this is reality and all of us founders are suckers…. And then I googled this guy.

Excellent questions and speed or hits. Bang bang bang bang keep em coming.

What I like about this show is that it gives both sides of the story. There are numerous podcasts out there about successful startups and how they’ve gone from rags to riches to become unicorns, highlighting their success, but this show talks about the dark side, highlighting those who struggle mightily to get things off the ground, putting time and treasure into their life’s work. Warning: Listening to this can also be emotional for those who are still struggling.

Ton of practical insights per episode. Also, very inspiring stories!

At first, I wasn’t sure what the actual topic of this podcast was but like an all podcast, you have to listen to a few episodes. Pablo is a straightforward no nonsense podcaster. No music, no intro no bumpers and at first I thought how un creative but as I listened, I realized he has a message and something for everybody to learn. I thought I would listen to two episodes and I find myself still listening. Great job Pablo. I actually learned something today.

I loved the episode about recruiting and retaining A players. Thinking about the behavior you’re incentivizing was so spot on. But even more so was being realistic about the type of senior talent you can recruit. Great lessons

This is a great show for those who need the specific information. This isn’t my usual type of podcast that I listen to but it was informative and the host has a relaxed tone which made it easy to stay focused. The host knows his stuff which makes this a great podcast to listen to if you are needing information for your start up.

I’m an ex-founder, sometimes a PM, and always a fan of exploring the mystery and magic of PMF. This is the type of show where you listen with entrepreneurs and investors alike to the stories of intellectual curiosity and survival. That sounds pretty academic, but I listen to this show for fun and happen to learn a lot along the way.

Very inspiring to listen to founders talk about their journeys, and love the interviews that Pablo does.

Pablo’s genuine interest in having a conversation with his guests, who are highly successful but not the typical high-profile guests riding the podcast circuit, is what makes this show special. That he doesn’t have ads in his podcast also signals that he’s doing the podcast to deliver exceptional value to listeners. There are many podcasters who claim to be financially independent and gurus who ruin the listener experience with mid-roll ads (I’m looking at you, ‘My First Million’).

I listened to one podcast from this show that was unbelievable, and then another. Thank you so much for having this show, booking great founders, and asking them great questions. And a huge thank you to the founders who took their time to help founders on the come up.

I learned about the PMF Show from a friend that liked one of Pablo’s LinkedIn posts. As a 3x Founder, I listened to a lot of start-up orientated shows…but this is one of the first that particularly discusses the nuances of getting from zero to one (which for a lot of early stage founders is the most fun, and also most difficult). There’s some great conversations like the one with Dane (former CEO of Squarespace) on solving the biggest pain point for your customers (even at the expense of margins and being a full SaaS solution) or with Scott from Spellbook on getting TTV to Zero and getting that emotional reaction to find your PMF.

As a new entrepreneur who is seriously thinking about transitioning from big tech to startup ecosystems, I have found the topics really interesting. Some of the guests had similar path as mine and it’s great to hear their experiences. Keep up the great work Pablo!!

I listen religiously to his podcasts which always have incredible guests across diverse industries which I can learn from. Can’t recommend this podcast enough to guide a founder in his journey.

Good for anyone at a start up or starting a new product line

I stumbled upon this podcast as if by divine guidance. Pablo is clearly passionate about helping founders. Every episode offers something helpful and inspirational. If you’re a new founder, aiming to be one, or if you’re an existing one challenged to find hand-in-glove fit between your offering and the market, is podcast is a must.

I’m a 4x founder - with successful exits - and currently startup advisor. If you want to to be a cofounder this is the real story behind the work, the process and the mindset. Listen to all the episodes - you’ll save yourself a ton of time and money.

Learned how to do customer discovery interviews etc

Pablo does an outstanding job gathering lessons learned by entrepreneurs looking for product market fit. Through a self-deprecating approach that is underpinned by years worth of experience as an operator and investor, Pablo’s honest and informative conversations with founders yield insights gleaned through a straightforward retelling of how each founder’s market fit lesson was learned — or missed.

….but there was no intro or context provided, so I spent the whole episode wondering who this host was, who this podcast was aimed at and who the people he was talking about even were. That said, there seemed to be some valuable points in there. Just wish they had been set up for a new listener to understand.

As a budding entrepreneur, I has never heard of “product market fit” before listening to this podcast. I have learned so much in such a short amount of time! I especially enjoyed the recent episode with Marty Krátký-Katz about being a relentless “cockroach” that doesn’t give up, no matter what- if you know the problem you’re wanting to solve is still out there. As a marketer, I was excited to listen to this podcast to get a different view of how different products fit into different markets. It’s amazing how thorough the interviews are with the guests. There is a lot to be learned and I look forward to becoming better educated by tuning in to future episodes.
