    the laughing
laughing that sounds this annoying can only be emitted from snarky venture capitalists

Want to know the techbros and problems with it?
Start here. Don’t need to go to Silicon Valley to experience it. Some good advice. But it’s easier to laugh at people and talk like this than to humbly be constructive or to build successful global/publicly listed companies. That’s why they are here in the business of mansplaining. Tech is to serve people and other industries. It’s just a tool and business model, even SaaS at the end is just a tool for either analytics, marketing outreach, or project management, document processing etc. The fact that it is wrongly glorified and has been slapped by the reality of bad performance for the past 2 year says that these people don’t truly understand (global) market dynamics, in human relations, systems or policies. Have they even gone out of their bubble?

    Bad audio quality
You are the biggest startup accelerator in the world. Why do your podcast interviews sound like two people shouting at each other from different sides of a basketball court? Lots of shows do Zoom interviews for their podcasts so it’s not a unique problem, figure out how they do it and go from there.

    Essential for founders
This podcast has been a guiding light as an entrepreneur in technology. The insights Craig and the team are able to pull out of a wide array of founders has helped shaped my approach to product development, leadership and fundraising. As someone who hopes to join a future YC batch this is an essential starting point to get in the right mindset for navigating life as a founder.

    A Startup's Best Kept Secret
A couple times in life you make a discovery thinking, "Is this too good to be true?" And then, after time, you realize, "I've discovered a jewel, a hidden treasure, that's better than I thought." That's what you'll find w/ Y Combinator's podcast. Every episode offers several pieces of insight, wisdom, advice, counsel, inspiration and/or guidance you couldn't possibly receive unless you were fortunate enough to hang with these leaders all the time. Regardless of where you are in the start-up process, Y Combinator's podcast will leave you smarter, stronger, and more inclined to keep moving forward with clarity and purpose. I've been advising leaders for over 30 years and know that inexperience relies on force, where experience is about accuracy; Y Combinator's podcast will help you get closer to hitting the bullseye every single time.

    Insightful, entertaining and actionable
Craig and his incredible guests make me feel completely at home here - bowled over by brilliant advice and nourishing conversations. In short, they give listeners an unfair advantage when it comes to creating a world-class business (and exceptional all-around life). Highly recommend listening and subscribing to Y Combinator if you’re interested in exploring your own personal evolution and professional development!

    Laura Deming and Shola Akinlade
Very sad as she seems very interesting if she would just stop saying “interesting” and “hawh” every other sentence. The interviewer reversed roles half way through as Laura started asking about him about his personal life...boring. But biggest issue is she talks to fast, exhausting. Shola is impossible to undertstand.

    Inspiring !
I listen to either this or the Startup School podcast every day on my commute to work. It helps keep me motivated & inspired when I’m feeling like my idea is dumb or not worth it. I hope to be meeting these guys soon! Thank you for making this podcast!

    Casual, insightful
I was bummed when Aaron and Kat stopped recording the previous YC podcasts, but I love the new podcasts hosted by Craig. He’s casual, invites great guests and gets them to answer questions authentically. As a founder, I recommend this to anyone else working on startups.
