I’m Matt Maruca, and this is The Light Diet podcast! After struggling with health issues as a young kid, I’ve spent nearly half my life seeking to understand how our bodies work in order to achieve optimal health.On my journey, I learned about little-known Western research from expert scientists confirming that our bodies are electromagnetic in nature, meaning that we are truly beings of light, and our body’s functions are controlled by light. This research opens the doors to an entirely new and deeper understanding of previously misunderstood Ancient Eastern wisdom about health, energy, and wellness.As the saying goes, heaven and hell have the same address: half way between our right and left ears. My goal is to travel the world and learn from leading Western Experts and Eastern Masters all of the things that we can do in our time on this earth to live in the states of bliss, flow, and love that everyone has experienced, but we have been taught to believe are only accessible under special circumstances.Achieving optimal health and self-realization in the modern world involves more than just diets of our food and exercise. It requires a new relationship with Light, externally and internally.Welcome to The Light Diet!

    i heard about matt on EHR, i resonated with his mission & was so impressed by his wisdom that i decided to buy his Lenses/lightDiet & listen to all of his podcast here & on all other platforms, this brilliant young man is way ahead of his time, i will continue to support him & his work forevermore. my interest in optimizing health started just like his. My acne breakouts in my teens had me restless trying to find a solution, then my interest evolved from a vain perspective into a spiritual journey leading me into the work of joe Dispenza, just like him!     I really admire Matt’s devotion and dedication to get to the root of things. He really does his research, and is a wealth of knowledge that I feel like I can trust. The passion in his voice as he speaks about topics like health, bio-hacking and spirituality is very contagious, and inspires me to dive deeper into these topics. I love the questions he asks, and how he relays the information that he knows. Such a great podcast. Thank you Matt for all you do.

    Intuitive Intelligence
    I first learned of Matt after listening to him on Jodelle Fitzwater’s podcast (Get Fit with Jodelle) back in 2018. I was amazed by his intelligence at such a young age when it came to everything light and science. He also has a maturity about him and obvious yearning to help others to avoid the detriments of artificial light and indoor living. I feel like I’ve “watched” him grow over these last few years as he’s been interviewed on several other podcasts ~ he is an AMAZING human as he shares his passion about what he is learning and his experiences to help others also learn~ and to live more optimal lives. His recent and ever evolving insight into the importance of spirituality as it relates to our health and well being is a breath of fresh air. His RA optics (day & night blue light blocking lenses) have been a game changer for me. Keep doing the GOOD work Matt. You are making a difference indeed. I appreciate you 🙏☀️

    Podcast nails it- guest integrity makes me question the integrity of the host
    First, I want to say that I am finding these podcasts so interesting and covering a subject I just can’t get enough of. Thank you Matt! Unfortunately, I decided to follow up after the Dylan Petkus interview to see what his website Optimal Circadian Health was all about. While watching his webinar- a page pops up for you to schedule a free call with him to learn about what he offers. Thinking that his work sounded valuable and that what he offers might be a good fit for me I signed up. He required both my husband and I to be there ( which I realized after the fact was part of the sales tactic) and after an hour of him asking questions about our situation, launched in to an incredibly disrespectful high pressure sales method- think car salesman but with the added punch of knowing personal info about you. While his program might have been a good fit for me, the predatory way in which he tried to pressure us as a family ( with three small children) to make a decision right on the spot to spend $8K without thinking it over to make sure it was the right choice for our family was just awful. He even implied that if my husband loved me enough he would just do this right now. Super low blow. We aren’t sheep and we shouldn’t be bullied into any choice that impacts the whole family. I have no idea if Matt approves of sales tactics like that but when a podcast host has on guests with such questionable integrity I can’t help but question the integrity of the host himself.

It ties together concepts I’ve previously learned and goes into the science behind how the cell produces energy in addition to simple steps you can take to live optimally.     It’s been a long time since I first heard Matt on the Lifestylist Podcast by Luke Storey. It was three hours of mind blowing information. Matt is a genius and I always enjoy listening to podcasts with him featured as a guest. I look forward to hearing many more episodes because of his knowledge and understanding about the importance of Quantum Biology and Light and their relationship to our health and well-being. It’s amazing how simple fixes to our every day life such as (eat more seafood because of DHA, sunbathe, see the sunrise and sunset, sleep with the sun, drink natural spring water etc) have changed my life’s trajectory over the past few years and they barely cost anymore than I would’ve spent on an expensive supplement. In his first podcast, he mentions something very important, “You have to fix the source, there is no point in putting premium fuel into an engine with faulty spark plugs”(paraphrasing). I look forward to hearing more episodes.
