For you to read:Time wastedI tried to listen to 2 different shows, made it 7 minutes into one and 12 minutes into the next one…couldn’t take anymore. It’s like listening to a couple kindergartners pretending to know what their doing, but constantly get side tracked by useless/irrelevant information based on nothing.

Mr.CacklesworthSlightly misleadingMost people listen to podcasts such as this in order to learn something new or to expand on their current knowledge base on a particular subject. While I don’t doubt that these gentlemen have a firm understanding of all things “off grid” and certainly have a higher understanding of the topic. It would be a stretch to say that they are even slightly proficient at conveying this information to the listeners. The bulk of their episodes have at the most fifteen minutes of information in regards to the title of the podcast. The remainder is dedicated to them just rambling off topic. I do have hope for this show because the hosts are entertaining. They would benefit from an editor to trim the 30+ min of fat each episode, or at least have someone dedicated to keeping the podcast on topic.

Fruit Ninja 1012-5min of valuable info buried in 45min showI made the mistake of starting with the episode on “can you retire off grid.” These guys literally didn’t know anything about this topic. And, hey, it makes sense- they’re probably 30yrs from retirement- but don’t do an episode on a topic you’re clueless about. To be fair, I skimmed a few other episodes and found they DO have some knowledge about installing solar- but they’ve oversold themselves as “pros” on anything beyond that.

Tanna_WannaOff Grid at its FinestNew listener, huge fan of living as far off grid as possible. Just left my In office job, accepted a remote job, so I can go on the road and still work. Maybe you all could delve into remote work on a new podcast.
