    Thank you -
My husband who is 66yo, was also diagnosed with young onset PD at age 44, 23 years ago. We had been married for 22 years when he was diagnosed in Jan 2000.. for those who remember that month, PD was our very own Y2K. I so wish we would have had a podcast like this at that time! We felt very isolated and alone - we thought PD was an old person’s disease and could only wonder why and how. I’m only about 6 episodes in, but I so appreciate Daniel’s faith, honesty and vulnerability in telling his story. It has already been helpful and validating for us… I know it must be, and will be, for so many others, too.

    Just what I needed
Recegtjy diagnosed at 50 I was desperate to better understand what I was in store for. Having a medical background, I was was more interested in the personal aspects than the technical side of PD. Daniel is a great story teller and does a fantastic side of explaining his story I couldn’t be more appreciative

    Balanced, Caring and Human
Daniel shares his very human and individualistic story of being a young man inflicted with Parkinson's. With his brother Bryan this podcast conveys a balanced understanding between idealistic optimism and negative pessimism to those of us without this disease. I value his frequent reminders that we all can develop empathetic and supportive connections to others by increasing our knowledge.

    A journey through life
I recently had a friend that was diagnosed. This podcast is helping me to better understand what he is going through. It’s also helping me process my own emotions. Much thanks to Daniel and Brian. I highly suggest it for those who have been recently diagnosed or if you have someone in your life that has been.
