4- star crackle barrel waitress. To buying CPA firm.
Loved this episode! This was a great insight on multiple ways of structuring no money down deals while using creative financing and little to none of your own capitol. You’ll hear in the podcast as she illustrates 3 key factors in negotiation allowing her into deals. Della does an excellent job as proof displaying how if you want to buy a business it’s about MAKING the opportunity happen.

The episode with Della was great. Realizing that it is possible to structure deals so that everyone wins even when you don’t have a lot of capital.

A friend of a friend recommended Ryan’s podcast to me after learning what I do for a living. Turned out to be a terrific recommendation. Ryan really does offer great advice and invites knowledgeable — and generally likable — guests.

    Poor audio quality, good content
Very poor audio quality, VoIP is losing packets consistently making it difficult to hear all of the episodes. Lose about every fifth word.

    Solid content
Ryan has some great content here! Solo episodes are helpful and hit on pertinent topics. Interview episodes have great guests - and Ryan asks them the questions we all are wondering. Highly recommend this pod if you are in any way connected to (or want to be connected to) the entrepreneurship by acquisition world.
  • Good overall
    Nuanced
When buying my first company, I listened to this podcast episode by episode from the beginning. Deals are diverse and different but have clear patterns. Ryan and his guests draw these out in a helpful way.

    20 piece nuggets
This show is the 20 piece nuggets of buying a business. There’s so much good stuff in here. having listened to every episode, if you’re thinking at all about buying a business, pull up a seat at the table. Don’t settle for a 4 piece or 6 piece nuggets of wisdom, get the 20!

    I like it but..
Host is great. Obviously knowledgeable. He tends to repeat things so often from episode to episode. It’s almost as if each episode is the first. The other thing is we want details! Numbers, projections. Maybe the host isn’t a numbers guy or something but every episode is pretty vague and it’s hard to learn when there’s no real examples. I’ve listened to 35 of the episodes in the first 103, haven’t listened after that.

Great podcast from the buyers perspective
There are tons of podcasts out there about buying a business but most of them are run by brokers which usually means more of the sellers perspective. What I love about this podcast is it looks at buying a business from the buyers perspective.
  • Navid20012

    Short, Sweet, and Super Informative
Such a great Podcast for anyone looking to get into the business acquisition space. Especially if you’re just getting started, they do a great job breaking down the complicated aspects into informative and simple information nuggets. Ryan makes it fun and keeps it short, and it never feels drawn out just for the sake of filling a time requirement. Highly recommend!
  • mkim10
    Love this Podcast
Buying revenue isn’t a topic that is super mainstream yet, so it's hard to get good information. Ryan does a great job of giving you the thought process of a buyer of businesses. Would highly recommend if you are thinking of entering this space that is still relatively unknown.

    Great format
The podcast universe needs more of the short format that Ryan uses. Also, Ryan occasionally mentions that he’s not selling anything and he means it— it’s just a collection of experiences and ideas from his journey to find and buy a business, and the occasional relevant guest.
  • Janetpow

Ryan gives you the ups, downs and real sides of buying a business!
I found Ryan on Linkedin before the podcast, we connected and with everything he had going on answered several questions I had about buying a business! He didn't give me a buy the book kinda answer. Ryan is a real guy who puts it out there like it should be heard for anyone considering doing something like this. Not many of us have a cool million to gamble with, you need guidance to navigate these waters. You need to give this a listen. I dont write many reviews but this deserves it. Thanks Ryan!!!

    Insightful, concise, actionable
I’ve followed Ryan through his journey of buying and selling businesses for multiple years. The podcast distills the most actionable and insightful takeaways and learnings he’s had and boils it down into a concise and methodical format. Ryan is very eloquent and I love the way he structures his thinking. There are other books and resources out there on this topic but this podcast eliminates a lot of the fluff that you get from other sources. I highly recommend to anyone who is considering buying a business and entering entrepreneurship through acquisition.

    Excited to hear the journey
I’ve been following the LinkedIn posts since day 1. I’m fascinated by the steps you are going through and how you clearly communicate those steps. I’ve read other books about acquisition, but have really enjoyed your story because you started telling it before you know the ending.
  • I I s always open
    Staight forward, no nonsense
Ryan gives it to you straight while exploring the options. His experience and approach are just what I have been looking for. Really makes you think about the steps most folks gloss over.
