Hey Josh, I think the podcast is great. I enjoy your little jokes here and there. As you often say we all go through things and listening to the lives of those old west people definitely gives me strength and helps me see that my situation is not even that bad. When I face challenges I often think, about those rough days that people lived in and how much more I have, so thank you for sharing!

Josh does an amazing job with weaving facts, speculation and all the certainty of Wild West historical accuracy into an absolutely engrossing listen. Pull up a log, cut yourself a plug and settle in next to the campfire, it’s going to be a good time.

I’ve been listening to Josh for several months now. I always enjoy his stories about the old American West. Constantly he introduces his listeners to new figures from that era. That, if not for him, I would never know about. Love his passion for storytelling and a past that as he says, “wasn’t that long ago”.

I’m a truck driver and started listening to this podcast. I LOVE IT! Josh has an outstanding balance of storytelling and humor and has a knack for filling history's gaps with well thought out explanations. He never comes across as the authority of information and freely acknowledges when he is making reasonable inferences. Nice work Josh.

I just recently found this Podcast. I love history about the old West I'm in Southern California, Los Angeles. But have a lot of people back in Arizona so this is pure gold to me. I'm gonna have to binge listen!!

It’s very eye-opening to me out of history that happened here in Oklahoma. Thank you for the work you do. I love listening to the show. I did hear you poke fun at Oklahoma but I just recently heard in one of your podcast that you’re from Texas so that makes sense lol I don’t have much of a leg to stand on as I am from Southern California. Started listening to Josh and the podcast last week and have loved all the episodes I have listened to. Great NEW information on topics I knew or thought I knew.

I found this podcast on YouTube and had to come here for the full library. Josh is a great talent with a passion for the subject and a great sense of humor to boot. If you don't find this entertaining, I'm not sure we can be friends.

Josh thoroughly researches his content and delivers it in a very entertaining way

Only dissatisfaction or disappointment you will have with this podcast is when you find out the host is named Josh and not Danny McBride. In fact, after listening to 10 or so stories I developed an untapped admiration for Danny’s love for Wild West history in addition to his Oscar worthy performances. When that bubble popped I kept that admiration for Josh and forgot about Ol’ Kenny Powers. In all seriousness Josh does an excellent job of researching his stories and keeping the a clear line between the tall tales and fact. The stories about these characters are mostly unknown to me, except the big names of course. Josh does a great job of introducing the character’s background and high points of his life, leaving the listener so interested that I have found myself researching these people myself. I would rate this podcast with more stars if I could.

Josh puts a lot of research into the shows and presents the material in a fun way. Sometimes he may be a little vulgar or just airing his lungs a bit depending upon your sense of humor. I’ve listened since the good old days of bloody beaver and will until the day the show bites the dust or he decides to shut his cockholster up about the Old West!

I found WWE on YouTube. For a second I almost turned it off as most things in YT with static pictures are things you either have to read or just plain bad. Man am I let it play. I’ll often let a YT video plan in the background while I’m working and this channel quickly became my go-to. I love the matter of fact reporting if facts along with personal opinion thrown in. I also love the often dark humor. I eventually changed to the podcast to save battery life, and since I have a little time off I can use my earbuds and not be seen as the antisocial person that I basically am. I’ve never signed on for a Patreon account, but this will be my first to get the old content. Another thing that’s not worthy is that when he says to shoot him an email, he will get back to you. Keep it up Josh. I love the podcast. Keep hating on those Okies too. The best thing to come out of Oklahoma is I35. Just kidding. I love southeast Oklahoma.. Some of the most beautiful country you’ll ever see.
