Nothing is worse in podcasting than people who laugh at every tiny comment like it’s an actual funny or clever joke.

Wow, first episode I listen to which is the newest episode and we make fun of housewives who don’t do certain vaccinations. Kinda sounded like you want my kids to get polio because you have the expertise of an uneducated housewife. My wife has more expertise then you have speaking on lore that you “googled”. Just because you consider yourself a “nerd”, doesn’t mean you know anything beyond a joystick. Keep your medical opinions to yourself. Hard pass!

After listening to so much lore from the Lore Boys, they have turned me into a Lore Man. Super funny episodes and I’m already itching for a new one

Probably the most entertaining podcast I listen, not always the most accurate but I’m here to be entertained and games are fictional so idc absolutely love you guys keep up the great content!

Initially I listened to the podcast for the SCP lore but soon realized these guys are super funny. After the first couple episodes I had decided I would listen to them all. It’s a wonderful show with great people and I would 1000% recommend it to anyone who just wants a general laugh and good times!!

I love everything about this podcast but just one thing throws me off! The danm equalizer, you can barely hear one of ‘em (it changes who is quite from episode to episode) so you turn up the volume and their penis joke was heard half was across town! Other then that this is a great podcast cast if you wanna pretend you are with the boys (because you dont have any due to a lack of deodorant) and just is plane fun to listen to

I have an absolute love of sci-fi/fantasy lore and these guys provide an incredible public service by fulfilling that specific esoteric niche that some of us are very passionate about. This, in combination with their output, is a big reason why I listen more to Lore Boys than any other podcast. And their chemistry and banter is endearing, and frequently they’re pretty funny. But I do wish the boys were just a little more knowledgeable—not just about the lore but real world history and events; sometimes their real-world commentary is ignorant or factually inaccurate, and despite generally liberal intentions sometimes slip into subtly racist and sexist jokes. Despite these problems, I’m still a loyal listener.

Why make an episode about evangelion lore if you hate the show and don't understand or care about any of the metaphor the actual show is about? I agree with the other poor reviews.

I came for lore information and all I got was a guy reading Wikipedia and everyone trying to out each other

I don’t want to be an angry internet neckbeard, but an episode on Warhammer tau I listened had some extremely wrong information about the Kroot. Not even “up for debate” stuff but just completely inaccurate info.

Not always the most informational but funny dudes! Can derail sometimes but those parts have me cracking up when I’m at work.

I’ve been listening to this podcast honestly on Spotify. Listened to maybe all of the episodes. They are funny, also didn’t know lore about things I didn’t even know had lore. They are funny, interesting and cool. If I could give more stars I would. Highly recommend!

After weeks of my coworker mentioning “this hilarious podcast” as an exclamation for him quietly giggling to himself I decided to check out the Lore Boys. I now find myself not only giggling but also annoying reiterating everything I’m learning to someone who already knows. Thanks for the laughs guys! Shout out to Robert. Haha

Sometimes. But in the case of the Lore Boys, it’s like you’re sitting in class with your absolute favorite teacher. The best part? The teacher has buddies that always show up to the lectures and add some beefy information, or derail the entire conversation. For every one or two sentences of lore content they spend a minute or more goofing off. It’s like listening to people with ADD that lack the ability to stay on task. it might help if they were funny, but they’re not. Hard pass on this train wreck of a podcast.

These guys are always entertaining and have wide variety of lore. While I love video games, fantasy, and sci-fi, the “real world” lore stories are some of my favorites. I listen to the Santa one every Christmas and share it with all my friends. Keep up the good work my dudes and please never stop making excellent content for me to put into my ear balls!

These guys are funny. They talk about games, movies, comics, and other stuff that’s interesting and even some that ain’t. They make a lot of jokes about a variety of things. Sometimes they get a little off topic, but who doesn’t want to know when hotdogs were created! Listen to these guys, once you give it a couple episodes, you’ll see why it is an easily bingeable podcast.

I like these dudes but two of them didn’t know hardly anything about Elden ring and the only one who did kept saying things either wrong or just not actual lore

I just found this podcast a few days ago and have been listening to it at work. The lord topics are great - for instance the Heretic/Hexen one was great! I loved those games as a kid and listening about it again was nice. The humor is so good, I’m laughing out loud at work with headphones on with people looking at me like I’m crazy, I don’t care. Keep up the good work guys!

The lore is always on point and interesting, which is great all by itself. But these guys take it to the next level with the hilarious banter. This podcast is a ton of fun to listen to, thank you, Loreboys!

I feel like I’m in an Xbox party chat with friends. Always a great and fun time listening to the lores and the tangents they go on.

When I first came across the Loreboys podcast it was by random chance. I was looking for any podcasts that would talk about the lore of Diablo one of my all time favorite game series. What I didn’t expect was a trio of naturally funny guys who not only discuss the lore of games but often do it in a quite hilarious fashion. Poking some fun and making the lore their own has been one of the funniest experiences I’ve had listening to podcast. This is well worth a listen for a relaxing and fun time!

Just found this podcast 4 days ago and I’ve listened to about 20 episodes just at work and on my commute. Hilariously humor, very interesting content, etc. Specifically loved the Skyrim, Transformers, and LOTR episodes. There is a massive amount of lore for Star Wars which I would love and am sure many people would, just something to think about! Keep going!

I love these podcasts cast a lot I have a huge lore story that y’all might want to look into and make a cast about y’all might have heard of five nights at Freddy’s but the story behind it is huge and not many people know the full story but I was hoping y’all can try to piece the story together y’all selves trust me it’s worth it

Almost done and even went back to listen to couple episodes I already finished! Lore Boys definitely one of my go to and favorite podcasts now. They have the perfect blend of comedy and just straight up keep me entertained during my 12 hour shifts! Working overnights is dreadful enough but luckily stumbled across these fellas to keep the night rolling. Keep up the amazing work!!

The Lore Boys remind me a lot of Citation Needed, but for video games and stuff like that. One of my favorites because they are very humorous, but also intellectual, even about the most mundane things. Absolutely love these guys, probably my favorite by far!

Fantastic show with episodes on the lore of your favorite video games, books and TTRPGs. Hosts Peter, Ethan and James are hilarious and keep the information fun and engaging. I have caught up with 90% of the episodes and can’t recommend them highly enough.

The Great old ones of lore.

‘People like things’. I kept this firmly in mind when looking for a pod to listen to during my essential worker shift. I don’t care about Magic: The Gathering, but I do tend to like the lore/fluff of it and games like it. This pod is like sitting back and listening to three friends riff on the lore of various games/comics/nerd stuff and having a blast. Once they hit their stride in season 2, I can’t think of an episode that I’d say, ‘skip it’ as they’re still fun as heck (and now bite size eps). People like things, and once explained...I still don’t get it, but I get it, and I had a lot of laughs learning about it.

I love the show, as you might have guessed from the title I am currently a interior house painter, which can be pretty strenuous on the mind at times but lore boys has certainly took the edge off of it! I listen to them practically all day long and have nearly listened to all the episodes after starting just a couple weeks ago, and they are extremely hilarious and I love the lore immensely! I can’t wait to see what they do next, I would love to hear something about the Flood from Halo, more Mortal Kombat, and more Eldar Scrolls. Lore boys, crunch at me!

I consume a lot of podcasts, and this one is always one of my favorites. They can make an hour feel like 20 minutes and I am laughing almost all the way through. Which is a problem because I am usually at work. Keep it up boys, can’t wait for more Halo and Magic lore. I don’t play Warcraft, but those episodes are always fantastic too, corrupted blood episode was a roller coaster.

As a lore podcast I’d hoped that they’d be more familiar with the games that they talk about or at least payed attention while playing. They go off topic A LOT. I ended up listening to a lot of jabbering with only a few lore points on topic. Even then some of the information you can tell isn’t cross referenced or looked into well.
