Politics: Meet Me in the Middle

18

In an age when saying the wrong thing in a Twitter post could leave you ghosted by onetime friends—or worse—we find our country torn apart at the political seams. But things don’t need to be this way. Constructive social discourse is not dead, it just needs a little resuscitation. From CurtCo Media.Consider Meet Me in the Middle your political rehab. Each week, Ed Larson (Pulitzer Prize winning historian, author, and world-wide lecturer) invites guests from across the ideological spectrum—including politicians, activists, and celebrities—to sit down, discuss the issues, and if not find consensus, at least find common ground. So bring an open mind and remember, we’re more alike than different.

Meet me in the slightly less left than everyone else
Not as bad as the New York Times but certainly not “the middle”

    Pretty good
As a centrist I appreciate the bipartisanship that is in this podcast! Thanks!

Great variety of topics and speaker
I enjoy the rational bipartisan platform and discussions.

    Not a political debate
Great listens with opinions from all sides. It's so hard to find unbiased shows that really try to find compromise. I very much appreciate this!

Makan Delrahim - Trump's Antitrust Chief
Regardless of your political persuasion, you should give this a listen. Understand how the current administration defines "antitrust." Hear how the Antitrust Division regards privacy. No yelling. No screaming. Listen with respect - even if you disagree.

    Politics 2020
Where will this show go with the election in 2020? There is going to be a lot to talk about and I'm excited to hear how the hosts handle this crazy election we're going into.

    Great history lessons
I enjoy the history that Ed Larson provides as to how and why our country is in this situation and how we can continue to write the story as our country moves forward. I look forward to hearing this show cover the politics this year, especially as we have an election coming up.

    Is there a middle?
I like the way the topics are presented and very much appreciate hearing from the opposing sides. I think the show would benefit from more female voices, but appreciate having those on here, especially during issues that really concern women, such as abortion and Roe v. Wade.

    Refreshing
The second amendment episode is perhaps the best politics podcast I’ve ever heard. Want more from you guys. It’s also refreshing to listen to an important issue that isn’t all about (what’s his name).
