Conservative NewsyThe Devine - Hertzog episodeThe constant, disruptive ads and their repetition, the added music and humor may engage some. For those of us with jobs or that are busy with family and life, we will find information elsewhere. Your banter works well with Socrates but not in an informational format.
-
BB BotzDoing my partI can’t afford to go on the Greek cruise (and meet John Zmirak, alas), but I bought 10 tickets to “Bonhoeffer” and gave away eight to friends. The remaining two are for myself and my spouse to see the movie this weekend. As Eric says, we must all do our part to help our country.
-
Diet4897Genius and hilariousWe know Eric personally and fully support all of his endeavors! I am so thankful for all he did for getting Trump re-elected and I am so thankful for Eric’s books, emails, and talks. Brilliant and hilarious!!

MS DeplorableLetter to American ChurchThis documentary was eye opening! Very well done. Thank you
-
JazzcoatLike but will never subscribe bc..of the obnoxious level of ads. It is not worth it whatsoever. My only regret is not listening to Zmirak as much as I want to.

Michigan JeanieLet’s give God some credit👏I’m new to your show and love its conversational tone! Haven’t made it all the way through the Guinta interview but keep wondering why Psalm 68:20 hasn’t been mentioned?! “God is to us a God of deliverances; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death.”

Jenn G in NCDon't mention it again!!Hi Eric, I do enjoy your show, so much! You have introduced me to Dr. Wolfe, Pastor John A, John Zmirak and many more, thank you!! Someday I hope to be able to save $ for a trip to a Socrates in the City interview. You bring such brave & intelligent people to tell their unique & amazing stories to no name, small town, regular folks like me. Thank you & your staff for giving me the opportunity to listen to & learn from these heroes of the free thinking world. Just one suggestion though.. You mentioned you aren't recognizing June as.. you know the "thing God detests" month. May I suggest, just don't mention? Don't acknowledge at all. Its almost over this year, but i've noticed there has been less focus on it this year. No weirdo rainbow flags w/ odd symbols everywhere (like last year) lurking around every corner of the huge, incredibly woke, place where I work. I almost threw up rainbows last year, there were so many posters , stickers, rainbow cupcakes etc.. I've not seen the rainbows & flags this year, so i wonder if its dying down ? Perhaps gotten quiet due to it being an election year & I live in the south? Any thoughts? Eric, when you say "we don't recognize June as Pr*de month", you are recognizing it!! Don't give the attention they crave! Ignore the weirdo stuff.. We celebrate June as the month for brides & traditional weddings! You think it coincidence they picked the month of June? Lets bring back the attention to the June brides!! Thanks! Jenn G in NC

is wokeness a thing?Antidote to woke virus— Bonhoeffer got me hookedDo we need more martyrs? He talks with many of most prescient Christian activists and authors — wish more people could agree on virus cures.
-
Alden GuyToo many advertisementsI used to love Eric’s show. Now the ads have ramped up to a point where it’s almost unlistenable. Come on, Eric. Quit the money grab!
-
Eph3.20More guest, less EricEric, I have listened to you for many years, but not as much for the last one or two years. The main reason is that you talk so much about yourself and your own books. You are an excellent writer and speaker, and when I read or listen to you, I learn so much! However, when you are in the Interviewer role, it should be more about your guests than you. Just sayin’
-
lltrllEpisode with Larry Taunton!I was very impressed with Larry Taunton’s responses to what Jordan Peterson has said about Christianity. I think it’s also really important for us Christians to be very careful of listening to or following those who speak as though they know truth, but haven’t professed to receiving Christ themselves. The Bible says there will also be many false prophets in the last days that will deceive many. This is why it’s so important that we read God’s Word and stay in true doctrine so that we’re not deceived by human cunning. I really like Taunton’s comment that Christianity is not a system, it’s a Person. This was my favorite interview on this show!
-
Jessica CarlsonPropagandaEric hosts people who misrepresent the truth and actually are causing harm in their communities. Hosting Mark Powell is an example of this. Mark Powell misrepresents the actual issues occurring in his congregation, defames people, and is causing great harm on purpose. He is not a man of god. He is fleecing a good group of people who were in a vulnerable state. He knows exactly what he is doing as an INTERIM pastor. He is using evil means and intimidation to attempt to coerce people. Eric is elevating Mark’s voice which is a terrible thing to do. Shame on you all!

njf419The book of Ezra is in all BiblesEric, this guy is off base. Ezra has never been a controversial book. Talk to him about exactly what he believes. Nancy

NancycarmListen and LearnI’ve learned so much listening to this podcast almost since it’s inception. He has had amazing guests over the years, many of whom I had never heard of, but who have so much valuable insight and knowledge to offer. That alone makes this podcast worth listening to regularly. Eric has grown as an interviewer. It’s true he does get excited and often interjects his opinions, but he seems to do this less than in the early days. Perhaps because he is so passionate, he can’t help himself. Even in some of his more awkward interviews, I give him major kudos, because he is putting himself out there. Unless you’ve done a podcast yourself, you have no idea what a vulnerable thing this is to do. Thank you Eric, for putting yourself out there, and helping us grow as listeners and critical thinkers!

KY MAGABlessing Gay CouplesLike Balaam’s curses turned into blessings, could Catholic priests give a blessing that curses this life style choice? Could they incorporate what God says about the sin into their blessing and loose the Holy Spirit to change the hearts of these people?
-
mgreenzTremendous! You won’t be wasting your time listening to Eric! His guest and insights are fantastic and spot on. Do yourself a favor and tune in.
-
ShorePortMao’s AmericaHope you listen and wake up- communism is here - and at least 2 American generations are indoctrinated into it. May God save America and believers
-
Tsundoku SenseiHorrible interviewerEric’s problem is that he thinks he’s funny. His jokes are constant and constantly cringeworthy. He is a bad interviewer and always interrupts his guests. And there are just too many ads. It’s a brutal listen.
-
MamaSabGreat showThe Eric Metaxes show is a wealth of information. He has all kinds of guests — political, spiritual, and even societal. I look forward to the guest lineup every week. Great show!

Masonic HomeGreat PodcostEric is truly gifted in bringing top notch guests and providing a proper world view.

MarkatektChristians are stepping upThank our Lord Jesus Christ for Eric Metaxas. His voice, in the midst of all the secular madness in our world today, is a powerful one for the values that created the greatest country ever seen. We must speak and act in Truth and power or this Idiocracy will continue. Thank you, Eric.

Olive0824Don’t recommend, here’s why:Eric Metaxes is a very intelligent and highly educated man. He has top-notch guests on his podcast. But don’t think his skills as a writer transfer to podcasting. After listening to some of his shows, and trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, I’ve decided I won’t listen to him ever again. Eric has almost no interviewing skills whatsoever. He interrupts mid-sentence, rarely asks questions of his guests, and spends most of each podcast rambling about his opinions (which given his education are surprisingly superficial rather than nuanced and thought out). I’ve seen podcasters with much less prestige and education level do a far better job of listening to and conversing with guests. The most recent podcast with Naomi Wolf was so cringeworthy, I feel sorry for her suffering through that.
-
Hans TinkerSolid Christian PodcastI’d highly recommend this podcast to any believer who takes their faith seriously, disassociates with the current seeker sensitive church, and takes a stand against the woke ideologies in our culture today.
-
janetm53Christ tattoo on body in SudanHey Eric! Love your show! Eric, did you see the news about a tattoo found on a 1300 year old body in the Sudan area? The tattoo was the Greek alpha and omega symbols as well as a “chi-rho” symbol which means Christ. Eric, thought you’d like this since the tattoo was in Greek and please excuse my ignorance of the Greek language if I’m not explaining this correctly. God bless!
-
Tracy H2Good, but those ads…The content is always good, but Geez! 14 minute interview filled to 47 minute podcast, all due to sooooo many ads! A bit much. Is advertising really that important?
-
Blueberry mom 1Eric rocksThank you, Eric, for your important and timely interviews. I always enjoy your podcasts and learn so much about politics and faith and historic figures of both. Plus you are a hoot! Keep on keeping on - I’m in your corner! Lots of love and prayers - Candice
-
AmRaymondInterviews too shortEric has some good guests on but he talks too long before he gets to the interview & there are way too many ads.
-
Mom patriotGirl for what is rightIm thankful for Eric Metaxas podcasts. He always gives credit to Jesus, he always stands for what is right. And his book Letter to the American Church is spot on! I listen to his podcasts always, gives great insight to relevant issues.

Dr. JRushReconsider all the time given to ads and sponsorsGreat conversations but the the ads are really excessive.
-
Lil’ DiddleRefreshing Truth!Grateful for Eric and his conviction to state the truth regarding a hopeless situation with a heavenly perspective!
-
WhOcArEs1122Great show but…Too many commercials for such a short program. Eric is an interesting guy and has good guests. Thankfully, you can skip the commercials but still annoying
-
too much true crime guyNew guestsTaking a chance on Auron and Egg was pretty gutsy. Glad to see some of these conservative types coming around.
-
ISTJreaderImportantEric is a superior host! He asks thoughtful questions of his guests. He’s genuine and learned. I appreciate the important topics and the absence of what I find in many podcasts: silliness, crude language, and vitriol of all things Christian. This show is a breath of fresh, and smart, air and is refreshment for the weary. My favorite guest is John Zmirak. His articles are a wonder to read and reread. A powerhouse of a writer! Which reminds me…more books, please, Eric! I found great comfort from Miracles and Bonhoeffer is unforgettable. All of your books have been a delight for this avid reader.
-
Luke K Ivey JrThe Eric Metaxas ShowRelevant, important, and detailed information on culture and society. Pays attention to detail. Coming from a Judeo Christian ethos/ worldview.
-
old lady geologistProblematicUsually I love your show, but today John Zmirak crossed the line. On multiple occasions he lied or, let’s just say he really stretched the truth. I think of him as a good man and I like his publication, and I know that Eric depends on him as a frequent guest. But he not only lied about the interview between Tucker and Mike Pence, (and I really can’t stand Mike Pence) but we need to be honest. Then, he proceeded to rant about Covid when his cultic devotion to Trump is completely unhinged and Trump to this day does not admit the problems he caused with his so-called vaccination and tacit agreement to the lockdowns. Topping everything off, he then writes off DeSantis as the lackey of neocons. So, I think I’ll unsubscribe while I cool off. Eric, part of the problem is that we think we’re always the only solution. Meanwhile we are fracturing ourselves and guaranteeing a loss in 2024. Thank you so much.
-
NanamirChe interview amazing 🤩This was so Riveting 🧐 I couldn’t stop listening. I got saved in 1977 Jesus Movement 🙌😇🕊️💨. You must have Che back 👍🏽❣️🙋🏽♀️
-
IBPTgirlChe’ AhnLoved the interview Monday, and most days to be honest! Glad I tuned in to hear this one (both episodes)! Thank you Eric for sharing! Glory to God on the highest! Rebecca E. Florida
-
Slate man JacksonLet the guests speakI usually like Eric, but his interview with Mallory was bad because Eric kept interrupting with stupid innuendos. Let the guests talk! Eric just wants to be funny and it detracts from the messages of the guests.
-
AmCanDebAn Exceptional Author and Podcaster!I LOVE Eric Metaxas and his books and his podcast. He’s thorough in his research. He’s both humble and hilarious. Albin is a FANTASTIC co-host; he both supports and contributes. I learn a lot, and I am encouraged and challenged. God bless them.
-

Teryl S.We love Eric MetaxasWe recommend Eric to all our friends. My husband has read almost all of his books, and we go over them together for study. They are excellent. We recommend all of them, especially “Is Atheism Dead”, “Letter to the American Church” and “Bonhoeffer”.
-
chief recyclerHow could you not like Eric?Maybe…you might not like him, but you have to love him. He’s witty. Humble. And, provides passionate discussions with some of the most intelligent among us. Thanks for your hard work, Eric.
-
V-FormationLove this podcast!Eric’s show is one of the best available, mixing a strong biblical worldview with some humor. Any episodes including John Zmirak are a must listen, again including the most incisive and prescient takes on the current cultural topics. Entertaining and instructive!
