I began listening to a podcast about the magical, fantastical land of Foon. Hosts Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore are fantastic. I love HftMT, always a must-listen on Mondays when it drops.

This is the most absurd thing I’ve ever loved! 😂 It’s just plain raunchy, ridiculous fun, and I’ve somehow become invested in the (total lack of) story!

But it is🤷

Bone Mage

The Caitlyn Barlow episode was trash. Enjoyed the show for years and you kept it fun but you just had to bring your terrible politics in there. You had to let her whine for an hour about how some people don’t want her to kill babies and groom children. You liberals are absolutely insufferable.

I’ve been a fan of this show since I’ve gotten into podcasts. I’ve listened to every single episode and I’ve even had an email I sent read on the show! This is a podcast that you can start with current episodes AND/OR start from the beginning and find completely enjoyable. Give it a shot! It’s worth it

I’ve been listening to this podcast for forever and am finally finishing catching up after falling behind and have somehow never left a review and I also don’t want an imp to eat me.

I’ve loved this show for years. The Finding Otok episode is probably the funniest thing I’ve heard in my life!

If you are reading this beware the portals behind the Burger King . Stupid portal took my shoe, Anyway this is podcast really is a must listen for any foonian or resident of earth.

While the primary reason I’m reviewing is that I don’t want to get eaten by the inventory imp, I do absolutely love this show. It was my first binge podcast before I binged podcasts. Arnie, Chunt & Usidore are the bestest parasocial friends this side of the Central Finite Curve. Honorable mention to the Mysterious Man. Don’t die and please don’t eat me

I just found this podcast through "How Did This Get Made" and it's wonderful. Good nerd fodder. Great balance of comedy and fantasy. Revisiting this old review years later, wow! I forgot I found this show through “How Did This Get Made.” I still love the show all these years later, and Arnie Kneecap, Adal Rifai, and Matt Young are all still fabulous! Really enjoy the chemistry between everyone and the guests. The camaraderie really shines through. ☺️

Ever wondered what a shape shifter, a wizard, and a guy who never changes his salmon colored polo and insists on recording every conversation get up to in the magical land of Foon??? You’ll find out! It’s funny, fun and heartwarming. Been a fan for years.

Started the first episode in August and now I’ll be finishing the newest few episodes very soon, and going to the live show in SF! These guys have been with me guys every single chore, helps me sleep most nights (I go back and listen from wherever I knocked out) What am I supposed to do when I’m caught up???

First many years were great. Episodes and Stories are much less creative and interesting any more. It’s turned into just listening to Chunt bounce off the walls.

Great listening when on the road. Have listened to this show multiple times like I do when watching the Golden Girls. I will cry when these guys eventually retire from the Hello from the Magic Tavern podcast.

Worth the time spent.

I have listened to this podcast on and off for years, and every time I came back I was addicted all over again. These guys have made me laugh during road trips, study sessions, and on those nights when I just couldn’t fall asleep. I’d recommend this to anyone who enjoys a bit of nerdy comedy. ***I listened from Season 1 Ep.1 —> Season 3 episode 101*** *SPOILERS AHEAD* - - - - - - These guys have been in my ear for probably half a decade. When Arnold spoke about his divorce near the end as they were plunging the obsidian sword into The Dark Lord, I teared up. I never really knew how much like family these characters and the actors portraying them had become until that moment. Arnold’s speech about how everything’s gonna be okay and sometime’s doing what’s hard is for the best. Not only for yourself, but for others. Then finally putting an end to The Dark Lord (in a way)…. I felt closure. So though I am choosing to stop here and let the ongoing adventures of Arnold, Chunt, and Usidore continue without me, I truly have appreciated my time in the Magic Tavern.

I know I’m late and it’s been pretty good so far, but then at the start of season 2 arnie made a “yakkity yak, don’t talk back” joke and now I’m completely sold

Just a awesome story telling just amazing show

I’ve been a listener since mid-season two and I’ve heard the show all the way through multiple times. This podcast brilliantly blends original storytelling, masterful improv comedy, and a fantasy world full of fun and unique characters. Every episode is a surprise that brings me back for more. Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore have been true boon companions and I hope they do so for years.

The only thing it’s missing is a guest spot from Nick Turani (A New Untold Story)

I started this podcast several years ago and somehow I’ve let it slip away. I recently restarted it and haven’t stopped laughing since. Funny, entertaining, you can tell the cast loves working together. I can’t believe that they remember all the intricacies of the previous episodes!!

I started listening to this show over the summer, and I would burn through two or three episodes a day at work or on my commute. It’s absolutely worth a listen. Solid fantasy improv with no rules, dumb jokes, and good characters.

This podcast helped me be happier during hard times and turned me on to hey riddle riddle. Thank you. Truly.

This show has really brightened my workday as I work Nights and it gets kind of lonely. The story telling us so fun and hilarious, and I just really appreciate the brilliance put into this sweet podcast. Thank you so much for this wonderful piece of audio!!!

I was late to the concept of podcasts but this one hooked me in 2018. I got caught up in a year. I re listened a couple times to the run of earlier episodes to let the story progress, and then all the spin-offs happened! A very informative report of a far off parallel world full of butt holes.

I always laugh a lot and look forward to each episode. Hilarious, smart, filthy, joyous and loving—all in one tidy, improvised package!

It’s a silly good time

Escape to a world full of wonder and silliness. The characters are multidimensional and the players are quick witted and truly gifted at improvisation. I have listened to my many favorite episodes again and again. This one is a real gem.

I can’t stop listening and I’m about 150 episodes in.
