    Ummm ok
I started listening to the show about two years ago as someone who mainly plays console games and wanted to understand Blizzard better. For the most mart the show is good, some great convos, likable hosts and interesting topics but… I noticed that when they speak about Microsoft they do it with a certain level of disdain and that bothered me. I have no love for corporations but if you’re going to slander the company than you have to at least point me to something factual as to why, not opinions but concrete facts from reputable sources. Microsoft according to Forbes year in and year out is voted the number 1 company in the world to work for and as far as Xbox goes Phil and his team has given all their studios time and freedom to do what they want. Since the acquisition was finalized i’ve seen nothing but happiness and rejuvenation from Activision and Blizzard devs on twitter for the future of their jobs but these three didn't bring anything like that up. If you guys are so worried about culture and working conditions than maybe talk about how devs are feeling at this time and not what your personal bias is towards a company. 343 was mentioned as a sort of caution tale but interestingly enough what wasn't mentioned was that they were given 7 years to make a game and when the issues were identified they were corrected with new leadership. I don’t think these three are a bad listen but people need to tell the whole story and not slices of a pie that makes you’re narrative work.

Long time listener first time reviewer I think….. You’re better off listening to The Starting Zone
Blizzard Watch tries to cover a wide variety of games. It’s one of the reasons why I think they should rename their podcast. Even though they cover Blizzard games, their knowledge of current information is far from being knowledgeable. More than 75% of the time Matt Rossi tries to give us WoW information but has no idea what he’s talking about. He is always getting clarification from Liz Harper or Joe Perez. He is pretty much the main issue with the podcast. He’s unprofessional, unfunny, and has as much knowledge of WoW as new WoW player trying to tank and not knowing what mitigation is. You are better off listening to something more professional like The Starting Zone. They actually talk like they play the game and give correct information on upcoming news and events. Their professionalism is the reason why they get interviews with the devs and Alpha access. Don’t waste your time on this podcast. Their are many other ones that are more enjoyable than this podcast.

    New listener
Just discovered this podcast, and wow, I have loved jumping deeper into the lore I’ve been in and out of for 15 years!! Great show!!

    Point lost
You talked that you did not know what to do. What you do is boycott games and company. Is this podcast worth more than women being respected at a company.

Have listened for years & love the talk; Matt sometimes comes across condescending time to time.
I love the show and I listened listened for years. My only gripe would be that sometimes Matt comes across condescending when he talks from time to time. He sometimes speaks very matter-of-factly and doesn’t allow or puts down other opinions. Other than those blips I love the show.

Thank the Old Gods SHE is gone!
Now that it’s The two amigos without the condescending and interruptive nature of the third host (whose name I’ve now forgotten...good riddance), this show has been a weekly delight to which I listen religiously! Joe and Matt, keep it up!

Not what it used to be
This podcast has really gone downhill lately. So much so that I’ve had to pull my Patreon support and have gone elsewhere for my WoW news.

    My go to wow podcast
I love this podcast as well as their lorewatch! It’s always full of great information and highly entertaining. All the hosts are extremely knowledgeable, so their opinions and perspectives typically have a lot more meat to them. Compared to other podcasts, this is great because hey aren’t biased towards one faction. They play and level on both sides and have thoughtful insight for both sides of the conflict.

    Paid by Blizz
If you want to hear that you could not be more wrong and Blizzard is perfect this is the podcast for you. The host who dominates every discussion talking over the other two and talk down to anyone that disagrees with her. No matter what Blizzard does it will be defended here including not fixing things from BFA Alpha that is still issues in the live game.

    They lost me
In recent times the show has shown a number of heavy biases that have made it hard to take the podcast seriously. I am tired of hearing Christie Golden’s bad writing, and the story direction taken by Blizzard being praised like it’s the holy gospel. The creators are sheep who don’t recognize blizzards failings, especially in relation to WoW. They continue to sing the praises of a company and dev teem who refuse to listen to their player base because they know they will still make money off people like those that run the show. I have been listening since 2010 with the show that shall not be named. Sad to see what it has become

    Best of WOW
    Best wow podcast period.

    Worth the time
A great set of folks whose enthusiasm and knowledge shine through. Plus they are friendly and seem like good sorts.

    Personable and passionate
One of the best podcasts in the business. You immediately get the feeling you are sitting and talking with friends, and if you are a fan of World of Warcraft (or Blizzard games in general) you will enjoy the humorous banter and personality they bring to the podcasting table. The only criticism I have is that they too little time to talk about too many games, but their consistency in bringing listeners content week-after-week for years on-end makes up for it, and the limitation of time does force them to be on task rather than meander into meaningless discussions (well, most of the time).
  • The_Zeddica
    Great group dynamic, always entertaining!
The best podcast for casual wow news and lore without the heavy formatting and timing to bog them down. I regularly chain these episodes as I can listen to them chat for hours. (And do)

    I Want To Like It
The thing that kind of throws me off about Blizzard Watch is at the beginning of the podcast they say that they cover all Blizzard Games but all they end up talking about is WOW. They should really just call it WOW Watch. They may touch on games here and there like Hearthstone released a new adventure but that's about it. They go way more in depth about WOW. Another thing is I will agree with another review on here. You feel like you are not part of there group. Like your an outcast. It's hard to explain but they come off sometimes rather snooty. I have been a fan of these guys for years and years back before they even had this new website but I still feel like an outsider. Like I said I want to like it but I feel like they need to care more about there listeners new and old. Also, what is up with the no pictures thing? No one knows what they look like and I think that adds to the snootyness. You are not in our group you can't see who we are.

    Continuing the excellence
The first WoW podcast I listened to was the Show That Shall Not Be Named, and I was instantly hooked. Now that you've transcended to become Watchers, the excellence continues. The knowledge of lore(though now more confined to your sister show), classes, mechanics, insight into Blizzard, impartial observation, delivery of information, and clearness of reporting is unparalleled. While I listen to other shows, the moment this one shows up available for download I stop the others to tune in. I can say "keep up the excellence", but that's like telling water to stay wet. It's in your natures. Instead, I'll simply say thank you for the excellent show. Erztok 100 Orc Hunter Steamwheedle Cartel-US

    Awesome podcast!!!
Very well done podcast, good chemistry between the hosts, they know their stuff and they put out some quality information. 10 out of 10
  • intothefizzynite
    love the show.
But I really wish Anne would Take a breath and let someone else talk sometimes.
  • Iamdissapointed
    Too "clicky"
Too many inside jokes, it felt like I was snooping in on the conversation rather than being addressed as a listener. Content was lacking and uninformative.
  • Force_balance
Lore cast worthwhile but rough around the edges
The best podcast for World of Warcraft lore but you have to digest a lot of pre-sweetened cereal to get to the prize. Rossi and Stickney are great when on point, but both are prone to stray to IRL issues (particularly Rossi). Opening seven minutes of every podcast is just chatter. Alex and Adam are usually right on point with their observations about the game. History of reliability for uploading podcasts on time is sketchy.

    The Best!
Blizzard Watch is the best podcast about watching Blizzards ever. Brrrr....

    Know your lore
I have listened to almost every wow podcast over the past decade. Only 3 have made the cut. One for pure entertainment, one for raiding and this one for everything else. The only people who know more about lore than Matthew Rossi and Anne Stickney work for Blizzard. They also provide relevant news and do so with passion and love for the game. I almost cried when I thought we had lost them. Please never scare me like that again!

This is THE podcast for WoW and Blizz
Don't let the low # of episodes fool you this podcast is a continuation of a 360+ episode running show. Featuring THE names when it comes to Warcraft lore and news.

    An asset to the community!
From the people who brought you my previous favorite podcast, comes what I assume will be my new favorite podcast. If you're worried about listening to this podcast because it looks new, rest assured that this is a seasoned cast of professionals, and it is most definitely worth a listen. Not too long and not too short and very entertaining.

    glad you have you back

A podcast to look forward to.
WoW players almost lost what was one of the best online communities for WoW due to poor business decisions by AOL. Thankfully, some of the core members from that site (which shall not be named, until someone on the cast accidentally names it) have banded together under their own independent business. I'm excited to see where BW goes from here, and anticipating some old faces returning to action. It is great to see good people make something good from a bad situation, and continue to make a living doing what they love.

    Best in the biz
By far my favorite World of Warcraft podcast.

    GREAT PODCAST
Fantastic! A wonderful treat! A joy to listen to! Carrying on the tradition of the former (unnamed) podcast, BLIZZARD WATCH gives you news, commentary and general fun from the world of Blizzard games. If you were ever stuck on a desert island, THIS podcast would be one of the two you would want to have with you (the other would be an instructional podcast on how to use coconuts and fish to construct a computer and internet connection so you could play World of Warcraft).
