    Intellectually Stimulating and Calming
This podcast has been one of the greatest audios to help me not only think outside the box but expand my learning of history, archetypes, and expanding my vocabulary. Sometimes I replay episodes at half speed, and mimic what David Getzin is saying to help me increase my rhetoric. I listen to this podcast often while at night, in the morning, and while driving my car to school and work, as his voice will take me from road rage and anxiety of LAs crazy streets to a calming happy drive, diving deep into the history of Architecture. I used to hate driving until this podcast puts me at ease. So happy to finally have something intellectual, historical, calming and interesting at the same time. Thank you David Getzin!

    Excellent
As a non-architect I find this pod very educational and enjoyable. The content is well written and well produced. I find myself sitting and reflecting often on these ideas!

    Architect’s mom
My son, an avid listener od LL and FP claims that somehow, each episode uniquely unfolds a ‘tone’ that transports the listener into the mind-environment od the artist/architect/protagonist of the episode. I’m not really sure what he means by that, but nonthless I found the episodes engaging and delightful. Feels like the authors invested decades of work to compile some of these!

    World Compass
Not a review, more of a comment... In our fast-moving world Architecture has seemingly become a corporate (and) lifestyle footnote. A PR optimization. The works of modernism masters Gropius, Behrens, Corbusier now seem just a halcyon, an anomaly, a blip. No. Those were hard won, with feverish struggle. There are invaluable lessons there, on passion in craft and how it’s refractions had forever changed how we look at the World. These audio essays from Lapsus Lima (Getzin, Belevan), such great storytelling, have me on the edge of my seat each episode!

Change the way you Read and See
These are some of the best insights from the history of architecture and design, situated in historical development and explained conceptually with great anecdotes and examples. Listen and enjoy the way in enhances your perception of literature and the designs in the world around you. Feedback: I do not enjoy when primary texts switch from both sides of the headphones to just the right side. Often I listen to podcasts with just one earbud in, and it's a gamble whether I will miss these segments entirely. My advice would be to either start introducing excerpts of primary texts with the standard "quote,..." or research how other podcasts do this. You may be able to change the "levels" on the audio that is excerpts from texts so that it sounds differentiated, as I'm sure was the original intent. But please make the whole program play in both L and R figurations :)

    Best on The Web
Stumbled across Lapsus Lima and POW. It's is the best, maybe only, architectural theory podcast on the web. If there is another anywhere close to it please tell me. From what I can tell so far every episode is way above “satisfactory.” There is original and grounded insight here that advanced and expanded the limit’s of my language. Very difficult to say anything more complimentary than that.

    Thoughtful Insight into Sullivan's Work
I was looking forward to listening to this podcast, and I was not disappointed. As an architectural docent, I have developed a substantial appreication for Sullivan's work. Not only was he an innovator in his day, but he still influences architecture almost 100 years after his death. David's presentation was thoughtful and thought provoking. I am very much looking forward to hearing part two!

    Insightful, immaculately delivered, and invigorating.
An excellent groundwork for a discusison of Louis Sullivan's work and ideas. This episode was intelligent, engaging, and enviably well produced and presented. I'm very much looking forward to Episode 2. An auspicious beginning.
