Great discussion, great films...but intrusive ads
This show is a treat, host Chris Stachiw talks about a wide range of films and he has wonderful guests such as Mike White (The Projection Booth) and Father Malone (Midnight Viewing). Chris' is open to a films' merits and his guests opinion even when he himself doesn't like the film under discussion. And the show is a lot of fun and has introduced me to a lot of films. That being said, the ads are very intrusive, they seem to come up randomly (sometimes in the middle of sentence) and its the same ad every time (the Virginia Lottery one here came up every two minutes during the Doors interview). It may be Apple or the sponsor deciding when the ads appear but it takes away from a what is otherwise a great show. It's free podcast and ads are necessary to keep the show going but this is ridiculous.

    Love your Fletch Episode
Really enjoyed listening to your Confess/All things Fletch episode. Your overall research of the books was impressive and the group’s info and opinions about the world of Fletch was fun to listen to. Great Job guys! -Laker Jim

    A Fast Favorite
The first time I heard Chris’s voice it scared me. It reminded me of every intellectual bully that talks with authority. But after a few episodes I’m addicted to his insights and the thoughtful attention he gives most of his subjects and his delivery just reinforces his passions. He has great banter with his co-hosts and often delves into topics I hadn’t considered on films I’ve lived with for years. His episode choices are both deep and light so you can pick an episode for what ever mood you’re in. Cannot recommend Kulturecast enough as well as his work with Mike White on The Shabby Detective.

    Off the beaten path
I don’t always see eye-to-eye with the host’s evaluations of the movies —and you know what? That’s absolutely fine because we’re all adults and I learn from it. It’s always a great group of fun reviewers and the real treat is that it’s not always Back to the Future 2 and Raiders of the Lost Ark every episode, you hear about movies no one else is talking about. And a lot of the time I do see eye-to-eye with the host, so there.

    A mostly good time
The show can be great on many occasions, especially when working with mike white or father Malone . That said sometimes the Host can sometimes sound disinterested in the topic . The audio mixing can also be really hit or miss . That all said I recommend the show for always having a unique look at films most people wouldn’t give the time of day

    Haters
Should be called the Hatecast.... all they seem to do is throw hate at movies. Could not agree Less with the last two podcast reviews. Godzilla vs Kong.... visually stunning (if you are looking for anything more than that from this film go watch an indie arthouse film... this is two tians bashing each other back and forth and every single person I have talked to loved the movie for many reasons)..... The Snyder Cut was 4 hours of pure awesomeness.... did not stop the movie once, didnt check my watch once and as soon as it was over I wanted to go watch it again!

    Fun, energetic reviews
As a frequent co-host on this show, I’m not sure if I should be reviewing it but I think I need to. More people need to listen to The Kulturecast. Chris does a fantastic job at running this show and the energy and insight about the films can not be overstated. Great great stuff.
