WORST 1ST BOOK REVIEW EVER BY JOE AND PAUL!!
So I searched podcasts with the title of the book #TheWealthyGardner by an Amazing author and person #JohnSoforic!! First time listening to Joe Fairless and his Best Ever CRE show podcast and great track record in the real estate world and longest running podcast, KUDOS!! I put the Episode on with High expectations being it was their first book review ever and they chose The Wealthy Gardner by John Soforic. WOW!! This is going to be an AWESOME REVIEW, so I thought! Man was I sorely disappointed in Joe and Paul. I so wanted to stop myself from listening to this podcast episode after Paul the moderator made this comment “there were a lot of things that stood out to me as stuff that we all probably already know, things relating to habits, things relating to work ethic and things like that.” HUGE RED FLAG and they haven’t even started discussing the book. I listened to the full episode thinking maybe Joe this amazing real estate Guru will have different perspective on the book. After listening to the episode in Full all I learned I learned and felt is both their GIGANTIC EGOS AND HEADS were better than this book and John. If you listen and read the full transcript, the title book they are supposed to be reviewing: The Wealthy Gardner is only mentioned 3 times and John Soforic, I’m sorry Dr. John Soforic is only mentioned once before they even start “reviewing” the book. Throughout the episode Joe only uses “The Author” and “The book” during his review but throws out every other book title and other Authors names out like candy!! Doesn’t even have the simple curiosity to use the title and John’s name even once himself!! As for the “REVEW” itself even a bigger disappointment. All I can say is for 3 pages of notes Joe says he took for this book he must have wrote in big letters. Of the 38 minutes or so of this Episode Joe and Paul maybe discussed 5-6 minutes of the actual book they said they were going to review for their First ever BEST EVER BOOK REVIEW!! As I said above WORST EVER BOOK Review because these two literally quoted if I had to guess a handful of “quotes” they call them from this Amazing 400+ page book written by John Soforic!! I am Huge believer in First Impressions and Integrity. Again I came into this episode with great intentions and thinking with Joe’s background and success in real estate like Joe Soforic had in The Wealthy Gardner he would have some Great insight on this book!! NOPE!!! Joe doesn’t even have the decency to say John’s name once or even say the title of the book. If I had to guess Joe and Paul have no clue the Lessons on Prosperity Between Father and Son and what it meant to John as he wrote this book for his own Son Mike!! That goes back to Paul’s comment above. They both dismissed this book before they even started the episode. I feel Bad for that one person who they had on their LinkedIn chat that may have actually read and Enjoyed the book and were hoping like I was to actually hear an amazing book review! Joe mentions a dozen other book titles and Authors by name like those matter more than the actual book he made the episode for in the first place!! For my First impression and Joe, I would not recommend this Podcast to a person that has a conscience and actually cares about people! John Soforic wrote a Beautiful book for his Son and people that care about people. Read the rest of the 1-2 star reviews and you will get great sense of the person Joe really is and how he really only really cares about himself and his Ego! I will follow John’s word everyday over Joe’s! Thank you for reading!!

    Love the show, but…
This show is in my queue every day. Love the content! One thing that I find detrimental is that some of the interviewers constantly interrupt the guests. Aside from that, please keep up the great shows!

    Great content, horrible production
The content on this prodcasf is great, they cover many different sections of CRE. Also a fan of the multiple hosts. The only negative is their production, the volume from the guest and host are often very far apart. Also background thunder sound for the lighting round is obnoxiously loud and completely unnecessary
  • Mooootch
    Great content; horrible new host
Honestly the content is awesome. Very informative and covers all levels of experience. The issue that makes the show hard to endure is the “new” host. I haven’t listened in a couple years, but compared to Joe (or really anyone else who hosts a podcast), what a terrible switch. This guy is just devoid of the personality traits that create a good conversation. From his overly monotone speech to being downright rude - bordering on condescending - to his guests if they divert even slightly from the mapped out conversation. Again; awesome content but this host is the worst.

    JF2884 Episode Review - Awesome!
This podcast brings in loads of experts to share thier knowledge and this episode a showcase of expertise being shared that provides great value to the listener. This one really helps with the residential multifamily by going over good niches, pros and cons of property managment, and the difficulty getting started. Highly recommend you listen.

    Consistency for Success
It was so clear that Anthony’s consistent approach to growing his business the right way is a key to his success. No overselling. No hype. I can see why Invictus doesn’t have issues finding deals from brokers who would trust that deals will close and that investors would believe in them. Anthony made their growth process sound simple but it is clear they do the right things the right way.

    Great commuter show
I’ve listening to your podcast on my way to work lately and really enjoyed one of the most recent episodes. I particularly appreciated the Tim Bratz episode where time testing was covered. This reminded me of my own experience at my current job, where I had to wait for the ideal moment to make things work and invest more effort, time, and tactics in order to achieve the objectives that I truly want. It's really cool to hear from people who do such incredible work and bring on such relatable people from whom I can learn a lot.

You will not find a larger repository of real estate investing wisdom than this podcast
I can not count the number of times I had a question or needed to know what to do in a particular situation, and so I combed through the Best Ever Advice podcast library and found an episode talking about exactly what I was dealing with. No matter what level you are, beginners to 40+year investing pros, you will always learn something knew.
  • RealEstateMD2
Did he really talk about whole life insurance?
Any google search would have shown that whole life insurance is considered one of the biggest scams in the financial advisor industry. Had Joe done his research, he would have asked the simple question, “Why wouldn’t someone purchase a simple term life insurance policy and just invest the extra in premium separately?” The answer is, you can never come out of ahead of this. The reason? The fees. Another good question to ask: “how much does the advisor make on each whole life policy, and how much do they make annually on each policy?” Even more concerning - why is a sales pitch for whole life insurance on a real estate podcast? This wasn’t even a debate on the pros and cons. I understand pushing out five times the number of guests is more difficult than other podcasts. But it is showing that quality is suffering at the expense of quantity.

Teaching the right ways to invest in real estate
Presented with the chance to invest along side Joe, I started listening to this podcast by Joe and Theo. My investing experience is less extensive than theirs, but what I heard them teaching matched up with the successful business practices that I’ve encountered. Additionally, they set a fantastic example for the type of partner that I’d strive to be—valuable and determined. It is eye opening to see the vast amount of effort and expertise that they put into every part of their business.
