    Top notch
They usually release an episode once a month (excluding live-streams) and you can tell that they’re actually using a full month to research and write the episode. Incredibly high quality. Best if the ASOIAF podcasts by far

Can a podcast be a masterpiece?
Truly exceptional. Not just the best ASOIAF content but one of the best podcast of all time regardless of subject matter. Keep up the phenomenal work!

    The best ASOIAF podcast
LG and YB are absolutely fantastic host! The episodes are delivered in a fun way with both humor and compassion that creates an audience connection that is necessary with so many options of media on ASOIAF books and GOT/HOTD tv shows

    Fantastic ASOIF podcast!
This podcast is fantastic. I cannot recommend it enough.
  • Silverwing Flyer
    still the best!
I have been listening since Radio Westeros began. Lady G and Yolkboy consistently maintain quality content and resist including filler content. Plus, they have voices that are pleasing to my ear.

    Incredible
    I love this podcast!!

    Exiting
This review of the house of the dragon show is severely biased. I will be going elsewhere for a more rational interpretation. It is ridiculous to me that if we are viewing this succession fight through current day ethical values, that either side comes off looking virtuous.

    Incredible
Hands down one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to, ASOIAF-related or otherwise. The attention to detail and level of research and depth they put into each episode is incredible and always thought provoking. As a big fan of the world George R. R. Martin has created, I love listening to the deep dives that each new episode presents, the unique musical additions, the excerpt readings, and the creative presentation. 100000/10!

    Love it
Such a wealth of enjoyable content.

    Just great
Two well spoken people that love pointing out the details and parallels I failed to see. They’re great at also reminding the audience of spoilers. Also, they have great guests that are equally knowledgeable of ASOIAF.
  • Historical Toaster
    Great podcast!
Thoroughly enjoy this podcast! Really interesting topics and extremely well researched!
  • Three Crazy Dogs
    Broad knowledge and great format
I love this podcast. Lady Gwen and Yolkboy both have great voices and broad knowledge of the ASOIAF universe. I especially like the question format of the episodes and the great guests they have. Thank you for all of your hard work and research!

Greatest radio station this side of the narrow sea
Lady Gwyn and Yolkboy are on their 998th reread of the A Song of Ice and Fire series and bring their knowledge right to you thru this podcast! Smart. Professional. Fun. These two are so good at what they do and are genuinely great people on top of it. Give their podcast a listen :) -Egg6

    Best podcast around
These two and their many guests are absolute powerhouses in asoiaf analysis. I love every single episode, they even found a way to get me interesting in Greyjoy storylines which I didn’t think was possible.

    Love you guys!
I could listen to these episodes over and over again and always learn something new. Keep up the great work!

    Carefully Researched
I can listen to these episodes again and again because the hosts pack so much information into them. I especially love the lore series because it emphasizes how much care is put into the world building, and they are like short stories within the book.

    Best anxiety medicine
For years I have had the worst anxiety before bed. On my second listen to this amazing podcast, I can lay in bed and stay entertained and happy, waiting to fall asleep. The voices of the hosts are comforting and they have amazing analysis without any crazy theories that make you take a double take. Easily my favorite structure of podcast, love Not a Cast, History of Westeros is second to none but the fake ads and the smooth structure of Radio Westeros is perfect. Thanks LG and YB!

    This is just amazing!
The level of detail in this podcast is simply mind-blowing. The thoughtfulness of the hosts makes every episode worth listening to. I fell in love with these books all over again thanks to Radio Westeros!

    Winds of Winter? Really? ❄️
Oh my! Has the great lord and master RR Martin actually accomplished completing the next book? Are we positive that he is finally releasing it? What about Fire and Blood part 2? I doubt that he will ever get to that. Guess I better get to work on finishing up the third book and then read 4 and 5. I thought I saw a picture of the fifth book somewhere and it was two separate books instead of one book. Is that right? Did he split it up into two books? I can’t wait to see what else is different from the show. I am well aware that the books and show are differ from one another starting with season three. Especially since Lady Stonehart was not in the show once.

    Fantastic Quality!
This is the best ASOIAF-themed content available on the internet! Every episode is well done, and just a pleasure to listen to. Please try it out people :)

    Glad I found this podcast!
One of the first and best ASoIF podcasts I started listening to and the best! I really like the hosts and the guests they bring on for book and character discussions. The bonus quiz shows are very fun as well! I enjoy the mix of analyzing, theorizing and humor in each episode! Great production value overall as well! Thanks for your hard work!

Very creative, but why does Tyrion never get his own episodes of Radio Westeros?

    Live-streams
I love Radio Westeros, and only one thing that grates on my ears in these live-streams: Lady Gwen, please stop saying “um” so much!!! You guys are so professional on the pre-recorded episodes , and “um” and space fillers kill that vibe. It’s ok to leave space for the listeners’ ear. :) I haven’t been able to finish listening to ANY of these live-streams due to the “ums”. :(

    The King of ASOIAF Podcasts
Lady Gwynevere and Yolkboy are absolute gems as hosts. No other podcast has connected the innumerable threads of George R. R. Martin’s series and presented them with such enthusiasm and ingenuity as these two. They are always gracious of crediting theories and incorporating the broad network of the ASOIAF fandom, including great guests who often have their own resumes of theories and essays under their belt. I would not appreciate this series nearly as much without the analyses of Radio Westeros. For me, this podcast was the gateway into understanding the nuances of George’s character work and the staggering intricacy of his masterpiece. This is the only podcast I would honestly say is required listening for anyone who loves the series and wants to understand it on a much deeper and rewarding level. 5/5.

It doesn’t get better than this
Radio Westeros brought asoiaf podcasting to a whole new level. They offer in-depth analyses, doing a great job of incorporating the text, fan consensus theories, and their own insights. They are such a treat to listen to and their production quality is second to none. Congratulations you two:)

    This Podcast Though
Welcome back Yolk Boy! There are a lot of good ASOIAF podcasts out there, but Radio Westeros is the best! LG and YB have a way of diving so deep into the characters, themes, and psychological aspects of the story. Just finished listening to the “Heroes” episode and it did not disappoint!
  • Diabetes Mom in NC
    Fabulous!
Great to hear Yolkboy back! The hosts put so much hard work into this podcast - it shows! Always a great listen and one of the most in-depth looks at ASOIAF out there. Highly recommend.

    Life affirming!
This podcast is the life blood to those who are ready to loose their freaking minds waiting for WoW. This is a must listen for those who love the books. I never watched the show, and really appreciate the dedication to the written works of GRRM.

    Just a great podcast 👏👏👏
I listen to many asoiaf podcasts. Lady Gwyn and Yolkboy are the best for many reasons. It’s an absolute pleasure to listen them whenever. Their knowledge and in-depth analysis of of GRRMs works are phenomenal. Highly recommend for all fans. Thank you both! 🙏☮️💓

    Great for any ASoIaF fan
Radio Westeros is a great listen to any fan of a Song of Ice and Fire, especially folks who devour the books. It's a fun mix of narration and history, along with moments that are like an audio drama. Give it a shot.
  • Gabarta
    HQ, brilliant, and insanely underrated
I listen to a lot of podcasts, and this is my favorite podcast. The hosts are clearly sophisticated scholars of the subject matter, have the production skills of experienced audio producers (if they are not I am even more blown away), and they craft a narrative that has standalone quality while making a listener even more invested in ASOIAF.
  • Hungryhomies
    Great ASoIaF content!
As someone who loves the books, I find it so refreshing to have a podcast centered around the books. They don’t mention the show at all which is such a good break from the floods of show only podcasts that exist. They are deeply thorough and really entertaining. I’ve listened to every episode and get very excited for more! Loved the recent episodes on the Dunk and Egg stories!
  • Lycidasisdead
    Best ASOIAF pod I've found
Yolkboy and Lady Gwyn are on fire. This is my favorite podcast out there on ASOIAF because the analysis is so well-researched and attentive to the text. I love a good bit of theorizing, and every theory I've heard them discuss on the podcast is backed up with so much evidence from throughout the story universe. Very compelling, thought-provoking, and inspiring.
  • Fullofspoilers
    Obsessed
My absolute favorite ASOIAF podcast. They do an amazing job fleshing our theories and storylines, and I love the whole atmosphere of the show. Couldn’t recommend enough.
  • DunkTheLunk
    Phenomenal! Such a treat!
Radio Westeros is quite simply the best ASOIAF podcast there is. Nothing else even comes close in terms of content, production quality and professionalism. Every single episode is amazingly well researched, and they frequently have other luminaries from the ASOIAF fandom on as guests. Oh, and their format for the Battle of Fire episode was so innovative! When a new episode drops it's such a treat! Plus, Yolkboy's accent is great and Lady Gwyn has such a lovely voice!
  • JohnM-E
    Best ASOIAF Podcast Out There
Title says it all, but I’ll elaborate anyway. Both of the hosts (who are now married—yay!) have excellent speaking and presentation skills. Their readings often include theme music and sound effects that really add to the material. Nothing too tinfoily or crack-pot without warning, mostly textual evidence.
  • Sakari
    C’mon production!
The highest production I have ever heard on a GOT podcast! I love the host’s voices and the cropped banter it’s very soothing.
  • lord bloodraven
    Need more
I’m sure you have other jobs. But this is the best A Sing of Ice and Fire podcast in the known universe. We need more than two or three a month. I wouldn’t even mind a few commercials at the beginning if that meant we got more of these.
  • Aven the Hollow
Can’t wait for more Dunk and Egg
Lady Gwynevere is a joy to listen to. I’ll be checking every day for her next Dunk and Egg episode
  • blankk76
    So thoughtful and well-researched
The Inn at the Crossroads episode is fantastic! Well done.
  • travis34
    fantastic
Fascinating and funny!! Y’all are so awesome! Thank you! I listen to this while I paint pet portraits and make zines. :)
  • ASIOAF is a good time
    Really Top Notch ASOIAF Podcast
The hosts have clearly done their research in every episode, and have very soothing voices as well. The Westerosi advertisements are a really fun addition to the episodes.
  • Darkredash
    Awesome
You two just get better with every episode. Thanks for the hard work. I love it
  • Iwasbornhappy
    The best of the best
Radio Westeros is the best ASOIAF podcast. While History of Westeros is more exhaustive (and also very good) the analysis from Radio Westeros is by far the best in the land. Lady Gwyn is the tip top of all analysts. When she guest stars elsewhere her polite attitude often leaves her to add bits and pieces whereas here on her own show she has the center stage.
  • bmhesp
    Just so well done
I love this ASOIAF podcast, their analysis has such a great combination of information and low-key, subtle wit, presented quite well. Their voices compliment each other, and the pacing and arrangement of each episode are just about perfect. Give them a shot, I doubt you’ll regret it.
