Found this show just 1 week ago. It’s great! I’m listening it everyday since then by 4-5 series. Found a lot of useful information. It would be very interesting to hear 4-3 series dedicated specifically to bike maintenance - on road, off road, in the garage… Thanks!

Hugely entertaining podcast with a continuous flow of usable information. I especially enjoy the “Deep Trouble” episodes that have influenced my thoughts on what gear to carry and how to approach a trip. Keep up the good work!

A year ago I got into motorcycling and am starting ADV riding now. Perusing through episodes on safety, rider skills, and travel in the USA and abroad from various perspectives has been hugely educational and great entertainment. This is my go to podcast for motorcycle info. The host is great, the production quality is excellent, and the guests are really well-chosen. Highly recommended!

I don’t discover this podcast until 2024. I have a job that enables me to listen to books or podcasts all day long so this one will keep me entertained for a long time it looks like. I ride a 2022 Suzuki DRZ400 and a 2024 Honda Trail 125.

Well-produced, interesting and informative. Jim and his guests are able to make a very visual medium (moto riding) accessible for anyone by podcast. I always recommend the podcast to riding buddies

I’ve traveled by motorcycle to many parts of the world. I often hear new things here— and am always entertained by Jim’s guests. Jim’s podcast is not full if a lot of drivel and chatter. Just good interviews and good tips.

Great podcast. Even if your tires never touch dirt, the stories and skills will still be useful and interesting.

If your interest is adventure riding, or you want to know what it is all about before trying, this podcast is the best there is. Through all the topics and techniques covered and interesting guests interviewed Jim seems to ask questions that you would ask if you were there, puts himself in your shoes. Haven’t missed an episode of this and the ADV Raw podcast since I first heard it,

It feels like family, I know that’s weird but it’s true.

Love to listen every week to this and the RAW show they do. I think Jim is a closet psychologist and really asks some probing questions of his guests. He really gets into the motivations, fears, joys etc of the guests not just the facts and experiences. Jim’s very knowledgable on almost all things motorcycle and travel. I love to jump on my bike and put on the latest episode.

This is a great show and has a lot of really good information for adventure riders and those wanting to learn different techniques.

I’ve been listening to the show since the beginning and always look forward to new episodes every week. Jim is amazing at interviewing guests and his wife Elizabeth does amazing job of producing/editing. It breaks my heart to see someone here gave a 2 star rating!

Jim I ordered a new set of ims pegs for a 2022 ktm 1290 super adv the representatives at ims ask if i would take some pictures of my existing factory pegs for comparison to help with R and D and they would discount the new ones …nice!! So after sending several pictures the ADV1’s were selected during the back and forth emails I was asked how I heard about them well of course I said ARR the best podcast on adventure riding there is!!! The show is deeply informative with its Rider Skills episodes as well a entertaining and riveting with the stories and interviews of travels from all over the globe. Excellent podcast with a great host Jim Martin who has clever questions and funny comebacks. The show has a variety of different guests all with fascinating stories and great advice and knowledge.

Maybe YOU are eventually going electric but I’ll be the last American to do so. Will make my own engine if I have to and distill my own fuel. Electric motorcycles just aren’t, by definition, motorcycles. Charlie and Ewan showed us that.

Jim & his guests offer stellar listening for riders in search of thoughtful tales, techniques and inspiration. I never fail to listen until the last fading shift as the “every rider” heard riding into the distance purrs away on his (unnamed) BMW. Marvelous.

Great show with an excellent combination of episodes that cover topics covering stories from the road, industry experts, rider skills and more. The show is fresh and interesting every week and really makes you just want to get out on the road (or trail) and explore

Jim is hands down one of the best interviewers out there. Just as a guest think they have taken the evasive way out of a question Jim will press for the details. This makes for truly great episodes!

I listen to this podcast religiously. If you're into ADVing, look no further. Anybody who's anybody in the industry respects and/or has been on Jim's show.

The only thing I don’t like about this show is that it makes it even tougher to go to work on Monday instead of hitting the road. Jim is a patient interviewer who ask terrific questions...really fun to listen to him open up stories his guests sometimes didn’t even know were there.

Jim is a good interviewer. His guests are The Who’s who of the motorcycle world. If you love travel, adventure and motorcycles this podcast is for you.

I discovered ARR just a couple months ago, and now I listen to it everyday - while walking the dog, going for a run, driving etc. The dscussion topics are highly relevant to my riding, the guest speakers are very knowledgeable, and Jim Martin is the perfect host/moderator. All adventure riders (young/old, newbies/exerienced, male/female, in the U.S. or anywhere in the world) will enjoy ARR podcasts. And let's all support this amazing source of information/pleasurable listening by contributing $$ directly, or indirectly by supporting the sponsors. I did it, and will do more.

If I only had to listen to one motorcycle podcast this would be it! Always informed topics that make you want to ride.

This podcast is quality. It could be a radio production, but thankfully it isn’t as there would be 5 minutes of commercials for each 3 minutes of content. And, while I get the add free version, occasionally I listen for the adds. The products that endorse the show are solid and work well. The content is really the heart of it. Rider tips that even experienced riders can use as a reminder. Discussions with people who’ve “been there, done that” which can help avoid hardship. I would like to see some rider tips on trip planning and packing; maybe some YouTube content....

I’ve been a listener for years basically from the beginning. Undoubtably the best producer, interviewer and best guests in the motorcycle world. I listen to many motorcycle and adventure style podcasts and what I appreciate the most is how clean this show is. I can listen to this show with my kids and wife. Jim always has the best most relevant motorcycle content and steers towards political neutrality, and clean programming. Other shows are so full of garbage it’s almost difficult to wade through it all to find the content. ARR is truly a high quality program In every way. I Look forward to every Thursday. Thank you guys so much for giving me an enjoyable hour every week! It has become a staple in my life!

Jim has some of the best guests, best topics, and best responses of any ADV related podcast I listen to. I’m a local rider, getting away maybe a week at a time to go do BDR routes nearby and while much of the content seemingly relates to RTW styled riders, so much also translates to the riding I do. Thank you Jim!

I’ve been listening for about a year now and figure I better rate this podcast. Excellent interviews and information. The host has great delivery and a good quality setup. There are a lot of episodes too, I recommend going back and listening to them all.

I can't wait for each new episode of this podcast. The topics, conversation, and guests are always top-notch, and the quality of the production is way above the norm in the podcasting world. Guests are almost never on the phone with the resulting crap audio, rather use reasonable audio gear with great quality no matter where they're connecting in from. It's also 100% family rated, both in content and language. Nice work!

I love motorcycles and I want to get into traveling on one. Adventure Motorcycle Radio is a premium podcast with great real life stories told by the adventurers visiting the show. There are also great motorcycle and travel tips. This is a show that is so good I signed up on Patreon to support their fantastic work. Check it out!

I’ve been listening for a little over a year, and ARR has taken me places I will probably never go, to experience things I’ll never get to experience. I absolutely love hearing the experiences of various travelers in almost real time, as he interviews people while they are traveling. Jim Martin is one of the best interviewers I have ever heard because he asks the questions most people would never dare to ask. He also keeps the interview light on technical jargon, asking the guests to break things down in orderly, understandable bites. This is a high quality, professionally produced podcast, with an amazingly good selection of bumper music (to match the content that week) and excellent guests. If you ride a motorcycle and are looking for something more than just another podcast about how to buy another bike or buy more stuff for your bike, this is for you. This podcast is about 60% interview with travelers, 30% riding skills, and less than 10% about “stuff.” When he does a segment on “stuff” it is usually very informative, has an interview with the manufacturer, and includes first hand experience with the use of the product. For example he did a couple of segments on Satellite communication/tracking devices that included an interview with GEOS, the global call center that facilitates your rescue if you use the service. Those episodes were easily worth the (free) admission charge for the ride. The whole show is light on advertising with about 3 minutes of advertising broken into 3 segments near the beginning, middle, and end of the show. The podcast is mostly funded through donations.
