nadine619MusicJust a suggestion, the background music during the interviews is very distracting to me. Would prefer it be limited to just the intro and outro and not throughout
-

Brynn BarakatGreat podcast. Worth tryingThis podcast is so interesting and me and my little sisters love it. They remember lots of the information about it so I know that theyâre listening. Iâm 15 and I am still interested. Itâs great. Thx so much!!!

car:12Represents a Vast Variety of PeopleThis podcast educates children on the LGBTQ+ community. It is anti-discrimination and encourages kids to do something about the world they will grow up and live in. Itâs empowering!
-
bannas17171717I love thisI try to learn about this stuff and when my parents try to explain it to me I sometimes donât understand and this I always understand.
-
Leah McDPropagandaThis is very one sided for children.
-
EMAWricaVery one-sidedThis podcast seems to push a particular political narrative to kids without their parents knowing. They literally have an episode indoctrinating kids on the issue of abortion. As an attorney, I think this pod should put out an episode on the faulty legal reasoning behind Roe, if theyâre going to discuss the issue of abortion at all in a kids pod.

_Grant_]2727Leftist IndoctrinationThis podcast delivers Leftist propaganda wrapped in an easy-to-listen to, calming, and gentle blanket. It is not about âjustice,â âequity,â and âinclusion,â as it purports to be; itâs pure ideology straight from the roots of a Marxist tree. Itâs an attempt to âactivizeâ kids into becoming little soldiers for the cause. It is not news anymore than the Pravda or Joseph Geobbelsâ propaganda were news; itâs an outmoded playbook of washed-up ideas simply packaged in a new box. A wise and prudent parent should abstain from allowing their kids to listen to this. On a more redeeming note, the podcast is well orchestrated and easy to listen to. Iâll give it to the producer and host that itâs effective in achieving its ends. These ends, I just so happen to vehemently disagree with.

Samanthad2008PropagandaPure propaganda, completely one-sided.

Meera SriramWarm and insightfulIâve listened to many many episodes as a parent, an author, a reader, and as a guest myself. I have enjoyed the warmth and curiosity with which the host, Matthew, brings out the best from his guest. And along the way, Iâve also learned so much about the creatorâs inspiration, backstory, and process, about the storytelling and illustrations as well. But the best of all - Matthewâs sample read alouds - they always make me want to pick up the book right away! This is one of the most meaningful and enjoyable childrenâs literature podcasts!
-

#1SDJACKThe stories behind the storiesOne of my favorite podcasts!!! I used to work in publishing as a designer, I canât get enough of the stories behind the stories, from authors to illustrators and agents. Childrenâs picture books are little pieces of art, and hearing the inspiration behind each one is captivating...I always feel heartfully connected to a new perspective after each show.
-
Mel MwaiA+ #KidLit Book DiscussionsMatthew loves reading & books, his podcast is brimming with thoughtful books discussions with their creators. Besides getting a sneak peak into the books, he talks story, development with current #KidLit creatives.
-
tred fredOkay đThis podcast is not quite for kids I think because there is a little bit to much talking and the backround music is kind of annoying.
-
BostonBookieListen, laugh, learnInsightful, creative, and grounded in respect for both creators and young readers, this thoughtfully curated series is a constant delight.
-
Keller1892261Very good contentI love Matthew Winnerâs sensitivity & deep, abiding love of childrenâs books. I love his enthusiasm for the books and authors he features. My one small complaint is that I wish he let guests talk more. While itâs very nice to hear his own, very heartfelt reactions to his guestsâ work... as a listener, I really want to hear more of what THEY have to say.
