The Lave crew asked for reviews so here you go. Thanks for the show, it’s my favorite listen of the week.

There are at present Loose Screws, Guard Frequency (shared coverage of Elite with Star Citizen), Hutton Orbital Radio, and Sagatarius Eye and Dockers. This one is Quite simply the best. All of the aforementioned podcasts are great so thats really saying something. OK well maybe I look forward to Sag-Eye the most but thats a whole different animal as its Quarterly and a transcription of a written work. Lave Radio is hands down the single best "talk show" about all things Elite.

I discovered Lave radio during the distant worlds 2 expedition. Not only did it keep me connected to the bubbles weekly goings on that being on the other side of the galaxy tends to leave you missing out on . They have a great post show Galnet round up which is usually more interesting than the ingame version which is far to dry in comparison. What makes this show truly awesome is the little details, the lave station commercial breaks are without a doubt some of the most enjoyable forms of entertainment to give you a laugh. Then theres the revolving panel of commentators that randomly changes. These are an extreme eclectic band of misfits that when bundled up into a 2 hour show keeps it moving well and thoroughly enthalling listening There is always a unique guest from the game which tends more often than not educates you on the edges of the game you didnt know existed from players bouncing off of planet to complete meta games played outside of the elite game itself. If you play elite: dangerous this is the most informed listen you can have of the week. This is my midweek week choice of commute drive listening.. Fantastic stuff guys keep it going

The CMDRs that run this show make the universe of Elite Dangerous so much more immersive then it already is—they’re my primary source for in-game news, updates, and community activities. All of the show, including but not limited to the irrelevant weekly bathroom update, in-game news and updates, and community activities.

I’ve listened to every numbered show, and there’s not a bad one in the bunch. You guys are always informative, funny, and caring about the community. I’ve been listening for over two years. This is a great podcast for fans of the game Elite Dangerous. Every show covers the game and community very in depth. It’s also fun as an American to see a glimpse of British life every day. If you like Elite Dangerous, you will love Lave Radio.

The most comprehensive Elite Dangerous Podcast on the Net! The hosts are funny and knowledgable about the game, and they always bring a nice insight into the latest news and activities in and around Elite Dangerous. I would have given them a 5 Star rating but they have a habit of missing show dates/podcast uploads on their posted Tuesday nights and they never communicate with their listeners WHY there is no podcast posted on the expected Tuesday/Wednesday. As I post this review, Episode 158 is late and there has been no info posted here or on their own website as to WHY it is late and IF we are going to see it at some point.

While far from a professionally done podcast (the hosts often go off on irrelevant tangents and don't always engage in all the in-depth research they should), this is very decent for a podcast made by fans, some working blokes who love Elite: Dangerous and use their spare time provide one of the few instances of reliable external discussion of the game. I would never recommend it to anyone not interested in ED, but for Elite nerds of all stripes this podcast provides some much-needed content.

The guys provide thorough and entertaining coverage of the game each week. If you are a fan or want to learn more, then this is the show for you.

Each week the intrepid crew of the orange sidewinder find something original to discuss regarding the galaxy of the game Elite Dangerous; which is no mean feat considering the number of episodes in the series. Opinionated and well-reasoned conversation regarding all aspects of the game that you would expect from a group of (by their own admission) “forum dads”, coupled with references to many other sci-fi favs such as BSG and B5. Elite Dangerous brought this reviewer back to the world of gaming after a 20-year hiatus, but this podcast makes that universe much richer and entertaining. Warning: this podcast may occasionally contain supposition and conjecture.

A great way to get my Elite fix when I'm away from the game.

I just purchased Elite Dangerous for the XBox One and have been playing as much as possible. I listen to music every day at work, but since I found your podcast, I've been listening to you guys every day instead going back to the first few episodes and working my way forwards. The banter is really enjoyable as is the great information about the Elite game. On another note, I know a lot of XBox people out there feel like we're being left behind vs the PC counterparts. At least we have Elite! We could be like those poor PS4 gamers, or hoping for Elite instead of playing it. At some point I'll expect that I will upgrade my PC to run the game, but at this point, I'm enjoying the game and your podcast! Keep it up guys. Commander CameronGraphix

I've been listening to the episodes as I fly around rustling up scum in Quivira or moving rares from Lave to the far reaches of the galaxy and I've been thoroughly enjoying it. Unfortunately I can't listen live as I'm across the pond, but perhaps I'll make it a point to do so when I don't have to work sometime. Recommended for anyone who plays Elite Dangerous!

This podcast was the first place I turned to when I was looking for someone to talk about Elite: Dangerous online. I was pleasantly surprised to find fans who played the original game from 1984 who have been holding a torch for the franchise for the past 30 years just like me. Funny and informative discussions of the E:D game, developers, and future speculation on the game.

I like it. The mic quality varies between commentators but that's ok.

Unsubscribed because of the unpredictable update schedule and also: they do live broadcasts from Lave sometimes but they NEVER TELL YOU WHEN!

I’m just getting into the Elite “Universe” with Elite Dangerous. Went looking for a podcast and found this… I wasn’t sure what to think when I heard all of the funny sounding British/Scottish/Irish accents, but this group is genuinely funny and clever. The Elite universe is very much an exploration of the imagination so I love how they really get into the fictional writing and role playing. Great stuff. Anyway, Elite is represented wonderfully with this podcast, it’s instantly one of my favs.

Enjoy the large group of contributors, commercial breaks and information.

My only gripe is they no longer use their original intro. Beyond that I've yet to find a podcast with a better crew or one that goes so far in getting interviews for the community. I hope they continue this well past the official release of Elite 4.
