    Could live without the skits
I have to say as far as just having a podcast that focuses on news in the board game industry, this one shines. They cover all the big pieces for the week and describe why the top ten on BGG might be peaking in popularity. However, the extremely kid friendly tone of the podcast is very off putting. The little skits the hosts do bring to mind cartoon kids shows. It’s not entertaining. Moreover, there’s not much of a reason for this tone. Kids don’t really listen to podcasts as far as I know. Board gamers are typically adults. It just seems odd Dice Tower would adopt this tone just in case some of these adults listen to podcasts with their kids. And I’d almost rather listen to SVWAG for news even though they don’t discuss as much of it.

    Not really news
Didn’t cover pandasaurus or WOTC ogl news stories, basically puff pieces on new games, which isn’t bad, it’s just not news.

Enough with the radio show banter. I miss the days of a tight show.

Stay on Top of a TOWER of News!
This podcast is a great way to stay current with board game news in a half-hour format. It’s delivered with cheesy humor and warmth, which makes it a feel-good listen for me. Major news, crowd funding projects, new releases…this has it all I can’t think of any other way I’d rather get my hobby news.

    Cliff Notes Board Gaming News
The group of four do a great job of bringing listeners a brief synopsis of what’s on the board gaming horizon. Cheesy humor speckles their delivery as the main duo covers upcoming games and what they’re about while the latter duo inform subscribers of Kickstarter board game campaigns that are in their final week. It’s all under 30 minutes and a welcomed weekly listen.

    Great update
This feed has had a few different formats with a variety of hosts. This is the best they have put together so far.

    New format is excellent
The new format for this show has elevated it greatly. It was ok before as Dice Tower News, but now multiple hosts can keep up with more news than a single person could before. They can't cover everything in the industry, but they keep getting better.

    Great pithy news
The show presents pithy industry news in a timely manner. The Kickstarter coverage makes me scratch my head at times, as it doesn’t seem to be comprehensive. Regardless, I’ll listen to every show. Very good content.

    Refreshed
Along with the name change comes a complete format change of the show that aligns with the rest of the Dice Tower Network’s content: multi-segment, multi-contributor. I love it. Covers way more information across industry/business news to hobbyist news while staying engaging.

    Really a great show!
Such a fantastic new format. This show feels like a professional board game news show, in which I have never seen the likes of. The board game hobby just got that much better.

    Great new format
I like the new format that covers news and digs deep on other parts of the industry. The Kickstarter segment is great too. Keep it up.

    Easy way to get info
Easily the best 30 mins of my Monday’s. Refreshingly short and to the point segments that keep gamers informed.

Tabletop Game Talk Takeover! (a good thing!)
Chris and Kitty from Tabletop Game Talk are entertaining and fun. I look forward to you guys bringing some of that to the news in 2019! Definitely re-added this podcast because you guys are hosting this now.

    To the point...
I never really listened to the news in podcast form. I was never attracted to listening to quick headlines in the gaming world that much. That being said I listened to the most recent episode with new hosts Chris and Kitty and enjoyed the, to the point headlines. The new hosts are organized and say what needs to be said, but also have a bit of themselfs come through so its not just reading a list. They are both easy to listen to, clear and understandable, in the way they present the news and I like having two host on the show to basicly take turns going over the shows news items. Funny thing, I think Kitty sounds like a natural newscaster too. The show length is also just the right length and I'm glad they include a bit of Kickstarter projects towards the end to take a look at. It can really save a person time browsing on the Kickstarter site. For the new hosts 1st show, I think it was great and enjoyed giving it a listen. I'm interested to keep listening to Dice Tower News and see how it develops with the new hosts.

    More news, less mocking voices
I had to unsubscribe. The constant goofy voices come across as insulting and distracting from the news.

This show has gotten too long and silly
When I subscribed these episodes we're about ten minutes and presented like a news broadcast. Now it seems to go on for well over the actual playing time that is about twice what it was a year ago. It also is way to silly for a news show. News doesn't need all the "jokes" I will stick around for a while to see if the new guy can get better. Really hope they ditch the bloopers at the end ASAP. Things have seemed to get worse not better. Hopefully I will find out if Elliot either gets replaced or starts acting like this is a news show not a comedy show but I can’t stick around any longer.

    Paul is great...
So Paul Owen is awesome. Great voice. Great delivery. Great "news" style podcast. No commentary or cute filler. It was like listening to a radio news update all about games. And I could listen and get through a full episode in a single sitting. He is very professional and I really like Paul. Sadly Paul is leaving after episode 600. Until then, he is alternating with a former host, Elliott, who is taking over aftre Paul leaves. I never knew Elliott from earlier in the podcast, but listening to him today. It was awful. Everything I liked about Paul was gone. There was not any professionalism. Misreads were left in rather than edited out and re-done. Elliott was being clever and doing voices. I was not a fan... And Elliott, if you're reading this, I'm not saying this to be mean. I'm saying it to be sincere in hopes that you will adopt some of what Paul did. If you want a gaming podcast to insert your own brand of wackiness, great. Do it. But for a podcast called "Dice Tower News" treat it like the news. Good luck.

    Sorry but...
Had to unsubscribe - I can't take Wednesdays. If I wanted Kermit I would subscribe to a puppet podcast. I am just tired of fast forwarding through the annoying Wednesdays. The rest is well worth listening to however.

    Best way to stay informed
I love that I can keep up with the world of board games with this podcast. Each of the three hosts adds their own unique flavor to the shows.

Good way to keep up with the news
I enjoy DTN for the most part, except for Elliott Miller's dumb voices. It is a great little podcast that helps me keep up to date with the board game world. I like that each episode has a different focus, keeping me informed about different aspects of the hobby. My one problem with DTN is Elliott's ridiculous voices that he uses during his Wednesday segments. My problem is that he often uses accents that make the people he is quoting sound stupid; if I were a game designer and heard myself portrayed that way, I would be upset about it.
