Lamont AllardYuckA dumpster fire of toxic waste of a podcast
-
Jacob Bean13Thought provoking, funny and kinda mean. They manage to cover a wide array of nerdy subjects. Jay manages to keep the flow going and Micah is really funny. They occasionally drift into just being a**holes for the sake of…comedy I guess? I don’t think they’d deny it, though, nor do I think they care. It’s fine. Can’t be helped. They are Generation X. But everything around the jerka** tangents is pretty good. Not very critical of Marvel, but whatever. Definitely thought-provoking and genuinely comical MOST of the time.
-
GQueueA Great ListenTerence, Micah and Jay (with occasional guest hosts) present their geeky but always entertaining slant on the entertainment world and its developments…WTF with JTD is always the highlight of the show…..great!
-
CMayzeIt’s cool....I guess 🤷🏾♂️Damnit Jay acknowledge me as your mortal enemy you bastard

ArconnaLightning Rounds Exploding Towns! This show really moves. Every episode is stuffed with news about news about ilm, geekery, video games, and more. The hosts really dig into this stuff, thinking about the implications of rumors and new moves within the various geek industries. Their latest episode considers in some detail what the world will look like for movies when things finally re-open, a serious question a lot of us are asking (for the record: eh, I probably ain't going back). There's humor, insightful commentary, and much more here. Fans of the news and discussion format will find a lot to love here. Strongly recommended! :D

E. ChadThanks GuysHey TNP Crew, Been listening for years, but first time writing. I'm doing it now just to thank you guys. A few years ago, I lost my cousin. It was a difficult time, but one thing I remember is at a point I was really feeling it, I turned on an episode of the Nerdpocalypse and for those couple of hours I felt relieved and had a little bit of peace. Fast forward and I'm a couple of weeks removed from losing my mom unexpectedly. It has been an incredibly difficult time, but during some of the worse moments, I remember the last time listening came through for me. Again, listening to the show gave me some measure of peace, even if only for a few hours. I haven't really been able to talk about it much, but figured I'd share it here. Just wanted you guys to know that you managed to touch a guy in two difficult spots. I know it's not the aim of the show, but I appreciate it all the same. Now say something ridiculous to lighten the mood. Five Stars Chad

Hort SubterfugeTRAAAAASHThis show is dumb. Your opinions are dumb. Your jokes are dumb. I looked you up on YouTube and all your faces are dumb. I hate this show and I hate all of you. Five stars.
-
Rizzy_RodI never put sent the first time ! Five star!!!I started listening to The Nerdpocalypse (btw Dense Pixels is easier to spell) by my brother Ricky 2 years ago , you know him by that guy that plays Denstiny2. I downloaded the entire episode and heard them all. Please bring back Mathew for one episode; I miss his hillbilly knowledge and dumb puns. At first I thought Rob was Brad, because they sounded alike! Where’s Black Facts by Jack or Drugs Fact by Jack? Tell Micah to sing any song from Boyz ll men, and for Jay and Terrence to be back up chorus. I was going to sign up for premium content but I’ll wait for December to get a better deal. Also in episode 3 of Big Little Lies at 10 min 23 sec you can see me in the background; I’m joking but my brother and I actually saw them recording episodes here in our home town Monterey California. Keep up the great work guys.
-
Black RkoStill on my son IPhoneAfter doing Black on Black and Dense Pixels guess I got write a review this too. Humph. The podcast that never read all the question of week and you know why because black people hate to read. Just kidding like the podcast. It gives me all the movie, tv ,and blerdom information that I need.
-
toxic354Great showAlthough I disagree with a lot of the political opinions on this podcast and as a 17 year old debate captain of my high school that might be a problem, I love it anyways. I’ve recommended you to multiple friends who love pop culture as much as me. Most of the time I’m just excited to see how far off you guys go on tangents. Great show, love the colorful discussions and arguments, keep it up. P.S. As a Mormon myself it’s not true that we see minority’s as less than us, nor do we believe that about women. (You mentioned this previously)

wilmsasMy car and my body cannot handle the deep voicesI'm being serious. Terrence and Micah's low voice makes my car speakers go into another dimension. When I sleep, I drift off to the silky smooth nougat voices meandering from my speaker to my ears. When I first started listening I thought Jay was white. Then I realized its just that everything he says is so soft. (I just want to hear him say this) I love the show, it makes my commutes from Wyoming to South Carolina that much better. I wish Terrence or Micah would go back to doing the "commercials" for the various sponsors you used to have. Everything you all put out is pure gold, and while I'm too poor (grad student) to continuously purchase premium, when I can, I do. Thanks for putting a smile on my face every Friday/weekend and to anyone wondering, BUY PREMIUM IT'S WORTH IT.

AwesUm SaUce3 blacks and sometimes JackLove this podcast to death. If you love comics, great TV and movies, tech stories, and horrifying stories about penises in Asia then this is the podcast for you. Keep it up gentlemen.

Domino's DaddyBeen meaning to write a review for a while. And here I am. You guys are awesome. Love the humor. Love the friendship. Love everything about this podcast.

Lite news readerSounds incredibly ignorantI’m always looking for good podcast to help fill my workday with. I gave this one a shot but didn’t even get through the first episode. While I don’t mind someone dropping an f-bomb when it’s appropriate or relevant, the host’s overuse of this vocabulary definitely puts his delivery in a questionable space. Your choice of words can definitely impact the subject in a negative way and portray a lack of intelligence. Please learn to express yourself with a correct and broad vocabulary and your show will be seen in a much more educated and positive light. Actual nerds have figured this out already. As for me, I am bailing in search of ideas that will be more enlightening.

NuclearWynterFunny and KnowledgeableBeen listening for a little over a year now and have loved every episode. Sometimes I have to pull my car over so I don’t crash while I’m laughing! I’ve started getting into the other shows on the network like Dense Pixels too. Can’t wait to listen for another year!
-
ArrogantDemon1A podcast as petty as meI nearly busted out laughing during your class reunion session The fact y'all named names, and preparing your wives to basically stunt on these busters made me laugh and think.....this would be some sh** I would pull, because I hated high school. Thanks for giving me a laugh at yet another boring day at work, much appreciated

Dirty Evan and the BoysDirty Evan's ReviewThis is by far one of the best podcasts that I listen to. I enjoy all the humor and content that is on the podcast. But most of all I really appreciate the dedication these guys have to their fans. It is a no brainer to throw five dollars at these guys a month and I hope this shows continues for many years to come. I have a request that Jay tells us the story on how this show was created and how everyone came to be on the show. Thank you.
-
racer2x1TGIFI love the nerdpocalypse podcast and a new episode popping up is like getting a Christmas present. I enjoy the crass humor and self destructive jokes. You speak your minds and I really enjoy when you have Jack and Kerry on at the same time. They are hilarious together. I miss Terrence when he's not on and I thought Micha was a guy I knew from junior high with the same name because he sounds just like him, but he is not him and I doubt he'd admit he ever lived in Alabama. I repeat the ridiculous things Jay says to myself and laugh like an immature child. Keep doing doing what you do and I'll be sending an email review soon because iTunes wouldn't post my "real" review. Thank you guys.
-
darthpantherSo much buenoI love this podcast. I started listening when I was a lad in middle school, 7th grade to be exact. Now I'm a junior in high school and let me tell you, this podcast helps me get through my AP calculus homework. I probably replay each episode 3 times before the next one is published. Thanks for all of the laughter you given me and hope you have a swell day.
-
Film WandererFilm WandererI love this show & the entire members of TNP. Been a huge fan of this show since 2014 & when the latest episode of Nerdpocalypse is on, I make it an effort not to miss it. Look Forward, Black on Black Cinema, No Time to Bleed & others are amazing shows. Keep up the good work.

Darkwing Duck117Micah deserves a raiseGreat show. A friend of mind suggested this podcast, thanks Mike. It's great to hear people's opinions, without them worrying about offending anyone. A friend bought me premium as a Christmas gift and it has been wonderful, thanks Jamaal. Terrance, I understand your don't put your hands on me rule. Back in college a women mad the mistake of touching my mom's nose and my mom threw her down a flight of stairs. She lived but she learned a valuable lesson. Micah thanks for being Micah and don't ever change. Also more black facts from Jack. If you haven't joined premium yet, you don't know what you are missing. Airing of grievances is worth the price alone, everything else is a bonus. Thanks for all he great laughs.
-
JayDelnegroFigidy 5 all day5 stars JUST for Micah's Vince McMahon impersonation. Give that man a raise!
-
The Grand ShuckettRap Facts from Jack!Listen to this show to hear Rap Facts from Jack along with a host of other nerd news, but most imporantly the Rap Facts from Jack.
-
klsmalls1One of the Greatest Podcast out here!Man I've been listening to these guys since the beginning of the year, beginning with Black on Black Cinema and then on to the Nerdpocalyse Podcast and I love it! They keep me informed on TV Shows, Movies and Comic news, while giving me some of the best laughs of the week. If you have not pulled the trigger and listened yet, please do ASAP. These guys are SERIOUSLY hilarious, Jay, Micah, Terrance & Jack, keep it up guys! oh, and Buy the Premium Content, DEF worth the 50/yr! K. Smalls
-
jc_raneyA nerd sampler platterGreat show with a little bit of everything , T.V., movies, games, comics, even science and tech. Always entertaining, frequently irreverant, and usually NSFW. Previews for premium content are top notch, Look Forward and No Time To Bleed are each worth the price of admission alone, and I plan to subscribe as soon as my wife gets a job (full time student, not just lazy). Jack stories are always a hoot, especially the sea stories because I've lived some very similar events myself. Nintendo fanboys be forewarned, this show may upset you.
-
FemmePolitiqueCool showThe first episode of TNP Presents was awesome. Watching the JDF interview made me wish we could get Keanu Reeves and Jason David Frank to star in the movie together either fighting together or against each other. I hope Jack gets to interview Keanu for the show too. I know Rogue One doesn't come out for another week, but what movie has been your favorite of 2016? Also, do you think Gabriel Luna can carry a show by himself as Ghost Rider or should there be more than one? Oh. If you haven't yet, go premium. It's worth it. - T'ara

Nolan SorrentoI Am the Terror Who Flaps In the NightAfter forgetting to use the tnp amazon link to buy my best friend's birthay gift of Nemisis and A blu-ray of N-Secure he told me to do this, eventhough I don't own apple products anymore, so shoutout to Jamaal for making me use Itunes. Also quick shoutout for Kriss of the MTR Network and Brandon from Where's my 40 acres from putting me on to you guys. Which reminds me, Jay did you really ask who would listen to kanye's music in 20 years? You know people still listen to Ice Ice Baby on a regular basis right? But I digresss, this podcast is amazing as is all your other shows. Idk if you guys still take requests for Black on Black Cinema but I think Life would be a good one. Oh Micah would you kindly tell my friend Andre to stop freeloading and go premium. Oh one last thing, bring back black facts with Jack, I need more of those in my life.
-
WickedntheCityHow much do I love this podcastI wish I could hug it. That's how much I love it.
-
RawWhite245 Star PodcastFound these guys some years ago through TBGWT and been a fan ever since. They are my go to podcast and I've recently become a premium member. I enjoy all the shows on the network but this one is still my favorite. Just some horrible people getting together talking about topics I like. Listen to this podcast or Jack will find you. He's white, he'll get away with it. Great show.
-
Long legged Mack DaddyShow is like crack, but betterThis show is easily the thing I look forward to the most every week, well besides payday. Please do this show forever and never die. Jay for President, Micah for Vice Pres (plz don't plot to overthrow Jay), Terrence for Secretary of Defense because he wouldn't hesitate to bomb the crap out of our enemies, and Jack for press secretary because he'll tell people to shut the hell up and sit down. Keep doing your thing, I wish you guys nothing but success. Oh please bring back black facts with a Jack.

insomniacFishThis review is for Micah....First off this is my favorite podcast.....Period. It's also part of a network that allowed me to get Micah to decode the lyrics to Desiigner's Panda. (I almost actually understand the song now) To keep the theme going of musical reviews, I would like the rest of this to be performed by the TNP crew member with a history of both theater (3rd grade counts) and choir. This part should be performed in your best rendition of one of the greatest musical groups to ever exist... Earth, Wind and Fire! (And don't skimp on the falsetto. You gotta do EWF justice!) "Now, I'm craving your body, is this real Temperatures rising, I don't want to feel I'm in the wrong place to be real Woah and I'm longing to love you, just for a night Kissing and hugging and holding you tight Please let me love you, with all my might Reasons, the reasons that we hear The reasons that we fear Our feelings a won't disappear, ooh And after the love game has been played All our illusions were just a parade And all the reasons start to fade"
-
Lewis LongshadowYou can laugh with them and at them! This podcast has the perfect balance of news, opinion and natural comedy. They are quick to go into crazy tangents and old school stories. All of it adds up to an entertaining podcast.

Zander0928Trump 2016!Consider this an official endorsement for Donald Trump for President! We firmly believe Mexicans should pay for and be restricted by a wall the length of their border. Businesses should not be beholden to ANY government. Obama was born in Kenya. The Wii U is better than the PS4 or Xbox One. Captain America Civil War sucked. Bluetooth technology is actually telepathy. Jet fuel can't melt steel beams. The post-it is a Nazi era invention designed to keep us occupied while our government is taking over. I like to make my booty clap like them there video h0ez. Ted Cruz, yous a b**ch. Dr. Doom is a poorly developed character. This podcast is seriously one of the best I have heard, and the guys are hysterical make you feel right at home every week. I have recommended it to every nerd I know! Subscribe and you will NOT be disappointed!

Mr.イルカThanks For What You DoI saw that you haven't gotten any 5 star reviews for the new year, and I wanted to step up say that I appreciate you guys and your podcasts. It's a highlight of my week and has gotten me through some tough times in 2015. I honestly can't imagine your shenanigans not in my podcast rotation. I wish nothing but happiness for all of you. So here's to another year of laughter with Jay, Micah, Jack, and ITTY BITTY TERRI BERRIE CHIM CHIM CHIREE! HAHAHAHAHA You'll never find me.

EnglishTeacherwpWorking For ItI like that the guys work for it. I have grown very tired and weary of some podcasters acting like it is a privilege that we get to listen to them rather than the the other way around. I don't have a lot of free time so this time spent is important to me. I detest podcasters who treat the listeners, their ideas, and interests as secondary to the podcaster. Truly what is interesting and vital is when you can find a podcast that engages and includes you in a conversation, or even listen to conversation that would be one in which you would like to participate. I find myself talking back to the guys because I agree or disagree greatly with the opinions which is the sign of a cutting edge podcast.

AyrrykA podcast for moist loversAre you and your lover experiencing dryness? Then try a liberal application of nerdpocalypse to bring back the moistness you and your lover need. Already moist enough? Then grab your lover and listen to a podcast that will remind you: blue lives matter, Amy Schumer and Melissa McCarthey are the best actresses ever, woman led reboots are better than the originals, Brian Singer is the Francis Ford Coppola of Comic Book Movies, and Dr Doom is the worst comic book villain ever. Nerdpocalypse giving you and your lover the moistness you need.
-
Markham LeeNerdpocalypse and Tangents….....is what this show should really be called. Also, JTD needs help. But in all seriousness, great show, I like the fact that you guys don’t always agree and it’s not like most nerd podcasts: awful sound quality and hosts who pretty much like EVERYTHING and just complain about nerds that don’t agree with them.
-
sweeternadiahAppointment listeningLove the hosts, love the show segments, love the tangents and REALLY love the periodic epic rants.
-
MattGrandisThe Jack ShowEvery week Jack presents news from the world of tech, science, movies and comics. Probably today's most soft-spoken and nuanced podcaster and an outspoken, passionate feminist, Jack often tackles important sociopolitical issues with a sharp mind and matching wit. Infrequently he's joined by his co-hosts Benditoots "Jay" Pennyworth-Smythe, Michael and Terrence. Do not miss out on this most excellent, stimulating entertainment!

TinMan_215For Terrence to SingYeah, hey When you wish upon a star Dreams will take you very far, yeah When you wish upon a dream Life ain't always what it seems, oh yeah Once you see your light so clear In the sky so very dear You're a shinig star, no matter who you are Shining bright to see what you can truly be That you can truly be Shining star come into view Shine is watchful light on you, yeah Gives you strength to carry on Make your body big and strong Future roads for you to pass Love to watch your mug past

DazzOne2012GREAT PODCAST! Now, Terrance read my commentMaster of the house, doling out the charm. ready with a handshake and an open palm! Tells a saucy tale, makes a little stir. Customers appreciate a bon-viveur. Glad to do a friend a favor. Doesn’t cost me to be nice. But nothing gets you nothing. EVERYTHING HAS GOT A LITTLE PRICE!!!
-
Mirah NirvanaGreat Show! :)Ok, here's my 5 star review. I finally got around to it, thanks to Jack's yelling! So Jay please read the following: Ok, now ketchup to my campaign, coupe the color of mayonnaise I'm drunk and high at the same time, drinkin' champagne on the airplane (Tell em!) Spit rounds like the gun range, beat it up like Rampage 100 bands, cut your girl, now your girl need a Band-Aid Grade A, A1, chain the color of Akon Black diamonds, backpack rhyming, co-signed by Louis Vuitton (Yup!) Horsepower, horsepower, all this Polo on I got horsepower Pound of this cost four thousand, I make it rain, she want more showers Rain pourin' All my cars is foreign, all my broads is foreign Money tall like Jordan You've now read the 2 Chainz verse from Mercy! Thanks!
-
Stanford alumGreat entertaining showI love the show and have been a listener for about a year now. I apologize for not giving a 5 star review sooner but I had a debate question with some of my other friends I would hope to get your input on. What movie do you believe will make more money opening weekend at the box office? Avengers 2 or the new Star Wars film? I think it will be close however avengers has a demographic advantage of teens and kids (boys and girls) who didn't grow up with the Star Wars nostalgic feelings that most adults have. I'm sure everyone that is going to see Star Wars will without a doubt see avengers 2 but I can see more reasons why the inverse statement might not be true. Well thanks for keeping my work shifts at the police department entertaining and I really need Jay to rage out with the kill bill sound effect more often. The time he did it over that idiot trying to discredit smart gun technology had me in tears. Thanks. Elmore Spencer P.S. If I could get a follow from Carrie on Twitter it would be an awesome wedding gift. ( spencer_rb1). I spelled your name right without looking it up
-
Strangedaze-PDXTo paraphrase Homer...Ahhh, I've always wanted to be a techie-nerd-reviewer. Always so bitter, dismissive and overtly sarcastic. So just sit back, relax, and let their snarky take on all things tech, toys, comic and whatnot wash over you. Then, you too will hold the nerd-world with contempt and loathing (at least until something good happens). This podcast is great!
-
S HarnsberryI Love It. I Love It. I Love It.I have been addicted to this podcast since I first found. The hosts are so funny and so real.

Drunk DalekGreat show butJack has so many wrong opinions

Luckyducky1987Excellent ShowEntertaining, insightful, and informative, the Nerdpocalypse is all of these and so much more. This show has everything you could want to know about anything nerdy. Whether you nerd out over movies, comics, TV, or technology they have you covered. The hosts' passion for all things nerd comes through clearly and you will find yourself wrapped up in a cocoon of nerdiness. The show is well organized and runs smoothly from start to finish with no dead air or fumbling to find items. The production quality is as stellar as the content. The format is well thought out and runs about the same for each episode. The news isn't groundbreaking, it's information you can find anywhere, it's the discussion you come for. The 4 hosts obviously love the topics they speak on and it's clear they take time to research the items they discuss. It's that attention to detail that makes the show so enjoyable. Who doesn't love to hear a lively, well informed debate between passionate, educated people with a love of the topic? They have a regular cast of 4 and a wonderful sub,Terrence, for those times when someone is out. Be sure to check your sensitivities at the door, because their no holds barred style isn't for the faint of heart. The show's hosts reach out and interact with listeners on Facebook and Twitter which makes them all the more wonderful. No matter what your looking for you will find it on the Nerdpocalypse and if you can't you may find it on one of their other great free programs such as Black on Black Cinema, Mouthful of Toast or Dense Pixels. They also have premium content for $5 a month, which is a great deal. While it's not for everyone, it's definitely worth giving a shot.
