    Abysmal Audio Quality
Can barely hear the guest talk most of the time. Constant background noise

    Sad to watch the slip
Sad that the editorial staff of this magazine feels it’s appropriate to stoop to “angry old man yells at clouds” style political rants instead of leading the fire service through the fog of today. We’re not here to hear you parrot political commentary that you watched from your recliner last night.

    Great content the audio
I like this podcast my favorite episode was when you guys had our fire department, recruitment officer, captain, Jason Shanley on it I know that was last year but I decided to leave this review now the audio on that podcast was amazing. Thank you so much for having San Diego Fire Rescue on the podcast. The future podcasts now that I listen to them the audio to be honest with you it does not sound really good let’s try and do better on the audio.

    Background noise
The content has been very good but almost every episode has some kind of distracting background noise. I can only put up with so much before I just move on to something else. Audio has been inconsistent.

Great podcast, audio is quiet though
Excellent information from some of the most experienced individuals in the fire service. The only issue with this podcast is the frequent audio issues. Many of the episodes are very quiet and even with a quality set of headphones turned all the way up, can not be clearly heard if there is any background noise at all. I listen all day while at work, and I have to skip a lot of episodes due to simply not being able to hear them.

    Audio
Content is excellent. Audio needs a lot of improvement.

    No clue about systemic racism
I wish you did more work on the systemic racism in the US. You painted a much rosier picture than many nonwhite, or people in poverty experience daily. Since you love quotes - “Justice too late, is justice denied.”

love the content but probuct is lacking
its a good listen except the audio is really poor. i am constantly adjusting the volume which sometimes stops me from listening. if they would fix the audio it would be 5 stars

Unlistenable. I expect much more from Fire Engineering
I can’t get past the terrible audio quality. Really guys. It isn’t that hard. If you’re going to put together a podcast, you need some very basic audio skills and equipment. You are representing Fire Engineering. Have some pride in your work. Hire a technician to sort it out if you must.

    Great content. Poor audio.
This is a great show with tons of content for any one interested in supplementing their learning in the fire service. The audio quality (at least on iTunes) is extremely poor. This is my only complaint but unfortunately as good as the content is the lack of audio quality makes it a very difficult listen.

Normally good info poor audio & structure
Most of the content is good although because of the nature of certain subjects different show can contradict each other. My greatest gripe (if you can call it that) is that the audio is tin can quality as well as the editing if any is poor. I understand we are firefighters not radio engineers but some more effort can go into improving this. Lastly, again we are not radio talk show hosts but the organization of the show can deteriorate into a off topic roundhouse.

    Poor Audio Quality, Great Content
The content of this show is second to none, but the audio quality makes it difficult to listen to.

While the topics of the podcast might be a valuable lesson the audio quality of these recordings are terrible!! Which is most unfortunate since there have been a number of times I wanted to listen in and learn something, but I get tired of having to crank my volume way up to hear someone speak and have to deal with feedback, hissing, back ground noise, etc. I ultimately end up getting frustrated by the audio quality and quit the podcast.
