Y0urfunNyFri3nD감사핲니다!I’ve been learning Korean because I am a half, and it’s been really wonderful to listen to this. My favorite episodes were the ones that taught me more casual conversations, because most other websites try to teach words that are hard to understand, and they aren’t used very often. I recommend talk to ma in Korean podcast, YouTube, and everything else. Thank you ! 🫶 하트!!

Studying_ajmMy favorite Korean resource for learningIf you see learning Korean I highly recommend TMIK. They’re content is easy and fun to use.!!!!
-
everythingtakensohereyougololDo yourself a favor...Written out only 14%~ of the core lessons at 42 pages in. Tons of examples to review at your own speed after simple and thorough explanations. This should every student’s starting curriculum. If you’re brand new, study the alphabet first (with a taste of Batchim) and pick this up! Good to go.

skm98MY PODCAST EVEROkay so I’m a beginner to learning Korean but omg I love this podcast so much. They explain everything so well and they repeat it a few times so you can really understand how everything is pronounced. They also seem to really be enjoying what they do which is really refreshing because sometimes people do podcasts and they sound really bored but I always enjoy listening to their podcasts. Also if y’all don’t have the TTMIK workbook I highly suggest you get one because you can use it while listening to the lessons and it’s so helpful!! Thank you TTMIK!!

burningcoinGreat for Language Lessons, Culture Discussions, and MoreHands down, this podcast is one of the best. The folks at Talk to Me in Korean produce incredible content ranging from their free online lessons to textbooks and podcasts to videos. I listen to these to help reinforce Korean pronunciation as a beginner student.

Nobody nerdLearning Korean From Start to Finish! This is the best way to learn Korean online. Nothing comes close the Talk to Me in Korean. Their podcasts, videos, and website are super helpful and they are always answering questions. They always use the most popular and natural sounding words and phrases so you sound more fluent. It really helps that they give a nice explanation and clear pronunciation. They also have lessons for all levels of Korean. You can find things for beginners, intermediate, or even lessons on popular slang or idioms! My favorite thing about TTMIK and why I think it is one of the best Korean language learning programs online (free or not) is that it takes things slow. Many people complain about the slow pace but it actually is smart because it gives time for the brain to fully understand, comprehend, and remember details. If it's faster you won't remember as well later on. I love TTMIK and I plan on buying their books very soon. You guys are awesome!

Su ParkGood! Pod!I'm a Korean who living in Houston, Tx. In fact, I serched about Esl pod. This is a great pod even study English. 여기 나오는 한국어나 강의주제도 교과서적이지 않고 참 재미있습니다. 한국어 공부하시는 분들 화이팅하세요!!^^

CGAMahnsYou will learn korean with this app!I have tried many other tools to learn korean, but TTMIK is by far the best! Easy to use and understand, lessons with audio and PDF files, and the teachers and so wonderful-not only do their methods work, but they are fun to listen to as well! A must download!

ocanannainProblems with this podcastThe first 6 podcasts of Level 1 I was able to download were terrific.... however.... ..... I'm subscribed to the TTMIK podcast through itunes and the first 6 lessons in Level 1 downloaded fine. However, no more Level 1 podcasts download until Level 1 Lesson 23 and 25. In addition, there are no Levels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 podcasts available through itunes. I can't seem to get any help from the people at the website.... would love to get this issue resolved as I'd like to continue listening on my ipod.
-
riverain20851Great short lessonsI love the format of the lessons, they are short and simple and yet still provide insight into the everyday use and meaning of words and phrases. However, there is some problem with my iphone and ipad podcast software that causes all the level 1-8 lessons to disappear before i have played them, and the only way i can get them back is by deleting the podcast and then resubscribing. Weird.
-
channaanneAwesomeThis is exactly what I've been looking for. It's so great of them to have all the lessons for free on their website. I love how patient the lessons are, moving at a bite-sized pace. And the Korean drama phrases are really fun!

Say yarrI highly recommendIt's very useful and well-explained even if don't know anything about korean. It's better visit their site first to learn the Hangul and after that, start the begginer's lessons. You won't learn korean just if you don't want to. :D
-
Loki0000000000000001Fun but difficult to learn fromThis is a great course for the lower levels. But it gets less useful when in the higher levels where the dialogue feels like it's 90% English.
-
absolute korean beginnergamsahamnida!i wish there were more language learning podcasts formatted like this one, it is very natural and friendly and comes with so much extra material to help you learn in your own style, including pdf previews and scripts/notes and pdf a pdf quiz review after 20 lessons with an audio answer key that reviews it all with you. gamsahamnida! te amo mucho! gamsahamnida!
-
newAce2004Great videosI like the videos referring back to popular K-drama phrases! More, more, more!
-
DemomechMy favorite language websiteTTMIK offers great lessons that are not only educational, but also entertaining. I love the entire staff and appreciate there help. I was amazed that they offer so many mp3 downloads and PDF files that you can for free. *If they're reading this, one thing I might change if possible is how the Itouch app works. I seem to only be able to look at the PDF or listen to the mp3, but not both at the same time.*. 감사합니다!!!
-
amgs24934Could [and have and will] listen for days ^.^The dialogue between the two is fun and enjoyable. Plus I like listening to Kyeong-eun's voice, she has a beautiful voice, she has a soft charming way of speaking, easy on the ears, making learning korean even more enjoyable and memorable.
-

-
norrowayI wish my college Spanish classes had been this comfortableEach podcast is the perfect length, covering bite-sized pieces that I can then go practice. The length of the podcast makes it easy to go back and review, too--most are only 15 minutes long or less, making it easy to put one one while walking home from the train or standing on the bus. Kyungeun and Sunwoo are perfect hosts--it's just like learning Korean from one of my Korean friends, ribbing and all. Their ease with each other, and their casual vibe, helps me feel confident that I can remember the things they're teaching. I also like how they teach how actual Koreans speak, and then explain the differences between spoken and written Korean. I learned more about the Korean I was hearing in K-dramas from them in level 1 than I learned from almost a whole textbook, particularly on how particles are used or dropped, how and why certain liaisons happen in pronunciation, and so forth. Great teaching methods, great teachers, great support via the site and their FB page, and extremely engaging all around.

CharymanderQuestionWhere can I download lessons 1-3?? I want to start learning from the beginning.
-
SwimintheseaExcellent Korean lessonsWho knew that learning Korean grammar could be so much fun? The lessons are clear and concise and presented in an organized and light-hearted manner. I am always looking forward to the next lesson or iyagi.
-
Skipper SimonMost amazing language podcast EVER!All the teachers are excellent teachers and lovers of learning language. You can tell right away the teachers are likable and have fun working together. The lessons and example sentences are really well designed, fun, and creative.
-
lepham95Love it!!Its amazing and clear and easy to understand. However, it'd be nice to have it in order (even though i think its itunes problem) and i cant download the many first videos before lvl 3 lesson 18 directly from my ipod. :(
-
Ouch BusterWorth it in EVERY way! This is truly a course to help you learn the Korean language. If you are serious about learning Korean, this one is for you. They instructors make every effort to help you learn how to speak and read the language. And what they teach what you can speak in modern Korean, not the outdated Korean like Pimsleur. Excellent work.
-
wondershotNot perfect, but......still pretty terrific. The great effort that the TTMIK team puts into their lessons is obvious and benefits Korean learners everywhere. Their PDFs, especially, are a studytime goldmine. I just wish that... -- they spent a little more time speaking Korean than they do chatting in English (in the lessons). --they'd cut the lessons' musical intro down from 20 seconds to 2. By the time that thing is over and the lesson is beginning, my attention is on another planet. Also, they have a great attitude... but if I hear one more their dumb "jokes" in English followed by cute chuckling I am going to smash a kimchi pot with my head. A lighthearted attitude is great, but those sort of needless tangents are excruciating when you are trying to focus and maximize your study time on the metro after work.

-
SudsyMcGooHelpful and EntertainingTalk to Me in Korean has everything a good podcast should. Not only are the lessons effective and clear, they are also entertaining! The light hearted banter between the two hosts gives this podcast a fun edge that everyone can enjoy. Not only is it fun to listen to, the podcast has an extremely supportive website complete with PDFs and supportive critique from the teachers. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced Korean student, the variety of material this podcast provides: lessons, videos, vocabulary and cultural shorts, and sessions completely in Korean called "Iyagi", makes this one of the most helpful language podcasts I've ever listened to. Thank you, TTMIK!
