JNLCIAMarc, BrendonYou didnāt GAF about the interuptions, the ā yeah, yeah, yeahās and the folks who tried to listen to some of the great artist who had a lot to say but couldnāt. M to the Puppets review is brilliant.

COBikerGuyNew RespectIāve learned a lot about the creative process and creativity in general from Marcās podcast. If he were to return to the format. It would be interesting to hear him talk to individuals in other areas, such as science, medicine, politics, world affairs, economics, etc.

Jimmy two tinesQuitting is for quitters MarcPlease consider doing a variation of the show at some point. Take a long trip with the special lady friend, make a record with the band, bake a lot of vegan breadā¦but then just do interviews with people who maybe arenāt on press tours promoting stuff. Just talk to people you want to talk to. I absolutely love your episode with Paul Giamattiā¦Iāve listened to it at least five times. Itās hard to believe you havenāt known Paul forever, you go so many side trips and deep dives . And itās hilarious and deeply comforting. It would really be a shame to lose that connection, that warmth, especially in the really messed up times weāre living through. You have a great gift as an interviewer. Your standup is just a day job. Thatās the Bruce Wayne thing. When you do the podcast, youāre Batman. I say this knowing youāre not really a comics guy, but also because of the wonderful conversation with Cristin Milotti. Another great talk. Please donāt stop. Youāre too good at this.

Liz ShiptonPodcast Daddy nooooMarc, what am I supposed to do without your bitter old voice in my ears every night? Who else will so painstakingly dissect the fascinating process of comedy writing for me, while simultaneously unraveling the inner workings of a psyche so similar to my own? Why do I - an Englishwoman in her mid-thirties - remain so thoroughly convinced, thanks to your podcast, that there must be, in fact, an angry old Jewish man living inside me? And most importantly, how are you supposed to interview me about my debut novel if your show goes off the air before it comes out???

awise111My favorite podcastIām going to miss this podcast a lot - thank you for all the years. š

M to the PuppetsHere and ThereItās funny reading through the older reviews where people mention his long rambling intros and inability to allow his guests to speak without being interrupted, and to see that over the years it hasnāt changed. Iām kind of surprised at that because Marc seems like a very aware person, youād think heād consider these things? Anyway, I totally agree with those statements and have checked in with the show less and less over time for those reasons. Now Iāll skip the intros, only tune in for certain guests and hang on long enough if Marc doesnāt completely take over the conversation. The show is supposedly ending soon. Maybe thatās a good thing.

euroskankRequest- Nathan FielderIāve been listening to Marc since day one. Itās been so fun to hear Marc get excited for something outside his lane of comedy. Iād love to hear an interview with Fielder before he leaves because Marc is an incredible interviewer and Fielder has such a new point of view. Also- thanks Marc for all the years! š

KrisACarProb should be overI tuned in to an interview with John Mulaney and the host talked about himself for the first half of it! Thumbs down

MeatPuppetttGoodbyeāYeah, yeah, yeah, like dude calm down Iām trying to hear Josh homme talk. Marc Maron ruins interviews and was never fit to be a host.

Daddio76Gonna miss these guysListening to Marc is like hanging out with an old friend. He was one of my favorite comics in the 80ās-90ās. So I was very happy to reunite with him on podcasts. Really gonna miss him and Brendan. I had already gone back and listened to some old episodes but I guess Iāll go all the way back and start over.

RambooriderRelatableAs another cultural (but non-religious) Jew with east coast roots who grew up in the Southwest, I find Marc very relatable. Iām not as neurotic or anxious as he is, Iām happily married for 40 years with kids and grandkids, but Iām also probably not as smart and definitely not as funny as Marc. But I like the guy and if heās talking up someone I have ANY interest in (and sometimes when heās not) heās a good (one directional) hang.

TapKittyForever #1This podcast has been my companion for many years now. Unlike Marc, I have a hard time accepting the fact that Joe Roganās trash is rated higher, having more mass appeal than this podcast. And just like Marc, I am very concerned about the masses. This podcast will be forever #1 in my books. ā¤ļø

Costanzafan25Ethnic Cleansing and Sarah SilvermanIāve been a listener on-and-off since 2010, and really admired Marc as a person who always tries to do the right thing, even when itās hard , uncomfortable, or alienating. So to see him platform Sarah Silverman, someone who not only supports but actively cheers on a genocidal campaign in Gaza filled with numerous human rights abuses and atrocities, im incredibly disappointed. I adored the recent Bridget Everett episode, but unless he comes out with a sincere apology, that will be the last episode I ever listen to. Do better Marc, stop platforming those who cheer on ethnic cleansing. Free Palestine.

LessCouchOnDear Marc,I was wildly concerned about you after hearing you were falling asleep with nicotine lozenges inā¦youāre a true wild man Maronāfind a lower gear.

magnuswoodsguyTalk about detritusā¦Iāve enjoyed Markās comedy. I just found out about the podcast, this is the first episode Iāve downloaded. So far Iām 15 minutes and 18 seconds in listening to Mark talk about detritus, and all I can think is this aural detritus, TO THE MAX. UGGGGH. Maybe, listen to the first, now 13 minutes and 44 seconds and decide if this is good podcasting ? I just want to get to this interview, which I know is going to be worth it. The jibber jabber small talk ramble preamble⦠Itās a lot. I will try to keep the faith, but a girly suggest an editor might be your friend. Now, 16 minutes and 34 seconds in, now weāre talking about yogurt? Please, please get to the interview with Carol.

tracygfMarc makes me happyMaron is my go to-I love his comedy, his commentary, his neuroses, his emotional connection to his guests and comedy and music. Iāve seen him in person twice and catch his specials every time they drop. Heās just the best, because heās imperfect. Heās us. Thanks Marc!

Sacrifice 4whoU donāt get itM. M. Is actually toning down , trust me Iām his wanna be 29 points lesser IQ. If he really wanted to say what he really thinks YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH, but his people do so he tames it down Heās great Genius

medium coolMarc and SarahTwo of the funniest Jews talking about growing up and becoming funny and Jewish. Marc felt in his element with Sarah and it was like old friends coming together again for some laughs.
-
konamarshaSarah Silverman interviewI enjoyed the Jewish talk .I can totally relate . But when I heard Marc say his people were from Galizina . Blew my mind . My Bubbie and Zaddy were from there . I always say āI am a peasant Jew. Not a rich Jew .They owned a fish and poultry market in Cleveland .

Burt 1962Is not in YouTube top hundred podcasts may 2025Maron is an unhappy Hebrew who had the laziest podcast style ever. Patrick Stewart of Star Trek fame. Maron asks no Star Trek fan related questions. If Maron interviewed a politician like John Fitzgerald Kennedy he would probably ask softball questions like āso have you been to the dynasty typewriter to see me perform comedy abortions. To Maron a planned parenthood abortion mill is an angel factory. And donāt even get Maron started about Donald trump. Maron has the boogie woogie fever & the trump derangement blues. And his guitar playing causes deafness in all living things. Maron had a romantic partner who passed away. He thought it might be appropriate to take a selfie with the body of the unalive woman. Maron never was funny and now barely fills comedy zone. Heās soon to be 62 so letās hope this savior citizen retires Permanently. Heās not very entertaining & his interviews are pedestrian at best. Look up air America & that catastrophe. Hope he saved his money.

CorkyBuchevPro GenocideBrendan and Marc, really creepy to invite Sarah Silverman back on a plug visit after she cheered on the collective punishment of innocent civilians and lots of children. Cheering on depriving an ethnic community you want cleansed of food and water because you went on a propaganda tour of Israel when you were young is sick. Holding Israel accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity is not Anti Semitic. Go run off to Canada Marc. You show how cowardly you are each day. Some of us will stay and fight fascism. Gross stuff you hacks.
-
Mental podThe bestAlways funny and smart.

dearlandgirlBridgetBridget resonates with people that feel like outsiders I think, idk. But I know I love her, I want to be her or be her best friend. The comedy, the depth of her emotional performances, the incredible music⦠chefās kiss. Btw, I waited on you once Marc, and you were totally down to earth and cool. Thanks, cause I was really nervous!
-
CB1949Interrupting Bridget / please stop itGenerally a fan but was yelling at phone -"shut up and let her speak!"
-
LydiaFaithfullBridget EverettIām not crying, youāre crying.
-
MsMartinaMsMartina99999RamblingThe first twenty minutes are unlistenable and then he struggles to let his interesting guests do what makes them great. Someone should encourage him to listen to one of his own intros sometime. He may resist with claims of ADHD and struggles to sit still, but no theyāre actually that boring.
-
MarkChicagoILGreat PodcastThe David Harbour interview was bizarre. Gave up after a while.
-
AKSJAGHRBJDFV.AEJBR.SDOUFSo disappointingThe trash talking Mike Birbiglia episode was so petty and unnecessary. I usually love this show, but hearing two grown men devote almost an entire episode to talking trash and naming names is so disappointing. Not every conversation should be aired for everyone to hear. Itās basic human decency.
-
E4GirlComicsThe post mortem is tiring, everyone has opinions!!
-
Podcast 88Bonus??Mike Birbiglia⦠Hatred?? Episode was hard to listen to, just like you would acknowledge your resentment towards different comedians .. and feel bad or weird about it and then you would double down, It was confusing and your counterpart called you on it. You said I should stand up. And fight against this and him, knowing you. you wouldnāt like the implications, the fallout ⦠Crazy episode
-
Rudy RhinopolisYea Yea⦠Authoritarianism⦠Yeaā¦How many times are you going to say authoritarianism in your intro⦠you sound like a 4th grader who learned a new word. Your whole intros are doom and gloom, itās getting old very fast⦠almost like youāre trying to brainwash people into thinking that their lives are, which they are not, might time to hang it up until you get over this ailment you created for yourself

Miss Kay JaySensational interview with Delroy!!!!Your podcast is always great, but this interview took my breath away! šš½āš½āš½

teyiredYea every 6 secsI like Marc but he says āyeaā every 6 seconds or sooner. Let your guest speak, theyāre smart, theyāre talented. They dont need you interrupting constantly. It kills the flow of any story they attempt to tell. Yea yea yea. Otherwise Marc is entertaining and has interesting guests. Just hope he could limit the interruptions. Yea yea yea is distracting.
