    Outdated
Outdated with very little advice for a traveller today. Time has passed Rick bye. Add his political bias and this is pathetic.

Stop all travel. I have had a stroke and can’t listen or watch the shows.

    Holy Land lecture was excellent
I sought out Rick's take on the current conflict and the Holy Land lecture did not disappoint. Rick has a nuanced and honest take on the region while humanizing both sides.

Follow Rick’s advice on every trip
We travel quite often and always study Rick’s books to plan our itinerary. We have found his information very helpful.

    Others see it too
Too preachy. Don’t want to hear about your political thoughts. Just want to know about travel on vacation or future retirement. You don’t want to hear me preach about my political feelings, hold on to yours please.

    Not the best advice
Just cursory information that most travelers already know. Quite overrated

    Traveling to Spain summer 2020
This was so wonderful to listen to on my dog walk. I wish this was an entire series. I leaned so much. I surprised my daughter who is fluent. Thanks again.

    Best Travel Philosophy
I appreciate Rick is more interested in experiencing each country’s culture and getting to know the people, rather than simply going from one tourist trap to another

    Long Overdue Review!
Rick Steves knows his stuff and loves what he does! Great listen!

    The best!
I really enjoy Rick Steeves' approach to informing ppl like me who don't have a lot of traveling under our belts. His tips are wonderful, the production makes me feel like I'm there with Rick and the crew, and he really makes a point to focus on not just the sights, but also the food and culture. Rick is well-informed and charmingly geeky. He is genuinely curious and I am so glad that his travels have inspired so many ppl to go and see, taste, feel, smell and smile around the world. It's a very humanizing experience. I cannot wait to watch these with my children when they're older. Well done.

    Travel as a Political Act
I just finished watching the podcast series on Travel as a Political Act. I've always been a fan of Rick Steves and his guidebooks and I recently enjoyed reading his Postcards from Europe book...but this lecture was even more...it was enlightening and thought-provoking...I do think it takes being open-minded to truly enjoy it, but it was just wonderful and I'm so glad I was able to participate through the podcast. Thank you Rick!

A very series of lectures. If you like Rick Steves, this gives you incite into his background. And also to maybe a better way of viewing national security and being a good citizen.
