Wow, a foolish and ego-centered whack job who doesn’t like Trump and puts it on his podcast, how fresh, how creative… how 10 years ago can you get? No one believes this trash anymore except the cultish buy-ins of Cultural Marxism and the leftist elitist wannabes.

I find it ironic that many of the critics of this fellow subscribe to the thought that there is only one way to enlightenment. Never underestimate the lack of flexibility within new age thinking. As for the podcast, it's well worth your time for the music alone.

The Mineral Health guy is Completely out of his lane, doesnt know what he's talking about with respects to medical advice, and it's obvious. When this kind of quackery get through and is a major part of an entire episode- you need to worry about the rest of the episodes. Some of his suggestions are dangerous.

Martin’s work is playing a large role in my understanding of non duality as it relates to 5-meo and the role ego plays in this process. Thank you for your hard work and this amazing content.... as I listen to the 2011 bam talk I keep thinking I’m hearing the car next to me play edm, but it’s just sound cars or sound camps in the background of the talk .... haha :)

Growing in his head

Had to subscribe. Martin was the only one who helped me be able to understand what happened to me. Experience of a physical death on it and becoming nothing just a void of nothingness and then I re-entered by body and I saw myself as an actor playing whatever role I chose....role is Opera Singer. The last time I had LSD over a summer many years ago, I feel asleep. I tried Aya once and Kambo led me to Sapito. After a two week trip on a spontaneous what they call Kundalini Awakening in 2016 I experienced some similar energetic effects as 5 meo dmt. I lost all belief in religion and belief in external Godhead. I also feel the books of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj set me up for the Crown Jewel. One Being/Many Manifestations. This medicine would eradicate all WAR and all Violence.

Mind expanding discussions, and viewpoints.

An insufferable, egotistical fraud. A silly, posturing goofball, who gives off the vibe of a narcissist. A snake oil salesman. Listen for yourself. Find out how not to be, about psychedelics. This man claims to have the one true answer. He never fails to mention his Phd. LOL. From what I've read, he used to charge $200 to get you high on a pinch of savia divinorum and then tell you what you just experienced. I know I shouldn't be making fun of this guy, but it's irresistible.

If you want some good entertainment, if you're even slightly critical he will notice all kinds of amusing hypocrisies from this allegedly enlightened yet obviously enraged analyst.

If you're a stereotypical hippie maybe this podcast is for you. If you're just a real person who wants to know about real stuff that society is ignorant of but you don't want to hear it from a pretentious voice, this is not the podcast for you.

Just found this podcast and I’m totally hooked. I love how Martin lets his guests talk and express their thoughts without interrupting them or changing the subject before a idea is expressed. Can’t wait to hear more!

I know the title is dated 60's lingo. But Dr. Ball does tell it like truthfully and completely. He is honest, forthright, and a pioneer in taming the ego and opening the way to... I won't say what he opens the way to, you will find out when you listen to this wonderful podcast, over and over because it is to interesting. Thank You Dr. Ball

Ego=not psychedelic!

I have read 3 of his books found them to be very important because of the way he expose the subject in a way that I can relate to. I find most podcasts too long and uninteresting. Now he is selling his energetic workings for $250 a session. This makes me have doubts on his intentions behind these podcasts. When people have answers they begin to sound like frauds. I am disappointed and suspicious. I can easily accept ideas but not answers. Lets be fair. I enjoy his writing a great deal and find them up to par with Eckhart Tolle and DT Suzuki. Lets be open and fair. I do find his books are very important. I try to tune out some stuff as conclusions go.

I used to listen to your show, until I noticed how obnoxious you are. you think just because you've studied all the religions in the world, you know the answer? You criticize McKenna and others, but besides him being a genius, he was HUMBLE. You don't know what that means. I guess your ego death experiences did nothing to you. You want to be innovative and create a new chakra system and say what we know is wrong. I think you are delusional and weird. Listen to your shows when you claim you channel whatever. You sound pathetic. Pls. don't try to create a new belief system. You're not bright enough to do so. Don't misinform people. Listen to Gnostic Media and all the Mckenna files and you may learn something useful.

All I can say is that after listening to Mr. Ball's last show 'Opening to Energy with Entheogens' is that I have never heard such a load of !!B. S.!! in my entire podcast listening experience. Based on my extensive shamanic studies and experience (at least 28 years of deep practice and vast knowledge of many forms and traditions) everything I heard Mr. Ball say in this show is extremely INCORRECT. I just cant express myself any stronger by typing. This is a sad and very misleading show. If there are any influential people listening and especially young people listening then I would say that this show is actually dangerous and highly irresponsible. I have never felt the need to criticize a podcast before but this is one of the saddest and most deluded egotistical ramblings I have ever heard! Pure absolute cluelessness!! I truly hope that no one will take this guy seriously. Listen only with extreme caution.

Mr. Ball's attempt at educating those interested in different aspects of the entheogenic phenomenon is fascinating. Whether you partake in entheogenic practices yourself, are just interested in spirituality, shamanism or ethnobotony, this podcast is highly recommended.

It is nice to see us making progress in the presentation of information regarding this precious, precious topic. We are finally picking up where the first generation left off. Dr. Ball's presentation is elite - professional and intelligent. I cannot believe this is not a world-wide phenomenon, and I am unsure if I want it to be. We all know that society is capable of ruining this. ...again. We need respect, education, and leadership, plain and simple. The Entheogenic Evolution is a perfect example of this. I had my suspicions about this podcast upon first listen. However, I gave it several more tries. Well, after this last "The Message", I think I can safely unsubscribe. The laughable, reverb-effected (affected), 'channeling' of the Great Omnipotent All-Loving Paternalistic Spirit in Martin's own best high-school-thespian stage voice was certainly annoying -- at best. At worst, it's damaging to a community seeking credibility. The only thing he seems to be channeling is the beginnings of Grandiose Delusional Disorder. You'd do much better to go checkout the humble Lorenzo's Psychedelic Salon podcast.

Absolutey stellar. Dr. Ball does an amazing job on this debut Podcast release of the Entheogenic Evolution. Give us more Martin! Entheogens have the capability of dynamically shifting the current limiting linear paradigm we find ourselves in. Entheogens represent a possibility of opening up the collective consciousness of humanity into yet unimagined realms. We must discuss and explore this important area of human/spiritual consciousness and bravely traverse and boldly move into these unlimited and uncharted inner landscapes. Looking forward to many more episodes.
