Tim from MPLSJapanese OfficeA “nicdote” should be a story about Nic Cage, I’m a little disappointed that you all missed that opportunity. Love the show, even with this egregious oversight.

Hermano from the Granite StateThe SignoffI just wanted to tell you all how great it is that you sign off each podcast telling each other that you love one another. You can tell you’re close, and the pursuit of the funny is truly what brings you together. Thanks for the podcast, as well as the chance to peak behind the curtain and get your commentary on what was some hilarious videos.

Ben Jamin podsHere I go was great! This was so much fun to see a “today” version of the digital short era I loved. As great as it was Alec Baldwin’s pants being in zipped at the goodnights, stole the show. Please discuss if it was intentional or not!

Charles PenisinsGreat BTS bits around the 80 minutes of adsLove the behind the bits stuff. Hate the 80 minutes of ads on every episode.

Costanzafan25Great when they stick to the formulaWhen it’s a regular episode where they go back and dissect an old SNL episode and talk about that week, it’s a fantastic show and the best SNL history podcast out there. When they take a whole episode to talk about whatever Andy’s did the past week in season 50 it’s awful, and just details everything. I don’t even know why Andy’s still there in this atrocious S50, but I’d rather they just shut up about the shlock they’re throwing out nowadays and stick to talking about an golden era. At this point it feels like they’re extending the podcasts lifespan as much as they can.

;(&@;POPSTARI humbly request a 5 part episode on POPSTAR, still one of the most underrated movies of all time :)

WendyMc4Olyphant All The Time!Enjoying revisiting these shorts with my 16yo son and 13yo daughter in the car when driving to school. Keep Olyphant coming! SGH is a banger!

Tessa the Pineapple4 Soothing Shock JocksI used to listen to 30 Rock to fall asleep for the last two years, but now I listen to these four shock jocks love on and make fun of each other. Also I am now almost fluent in Swedish. #löyly

A-liceBPure fun! What an awesome podcast this is! I've watched SNL for the entire 50 years, and I love hearing about all the BTS stuff. Also, can I just say how cool it is to hear a bunch of grown men tell each other "I love you" at the end of each podcast? The world needs more of that. It's clear you guys are great friends, and I love hearing you TLI guys kibitz about your creative process. I look forward to this pod every week. Thanks again Seth for getting this together!
-
The piesterBest podcast of all timeI love everything about this show, including the way Jorma sometimes shows up from Finland and sometimes he doesn’t. I love the theme songs. I love the way they all say “I love you” to each other. Sushi. Glory. Hole.

NadiaMuMakes my Monday commute more fun for sureI mean, I might just be the exact right age to feel nostalgic about Lonely Island videos, but I think it’s a fun podcast just beyond that. Bonus: my sister gets Queen Bee all the time and I can’t get past Genius so I really identify with all the Spelling Bee chatter. Plus it’s a secret bts of whatever movie Jorma is directing in Finland right now.

BaltreignHow did I not know this existed? It’s fantastic. Just what I needed. Funny & fun. Great look behind the SNL curtain. Great listen
-
WhitThayAn absolute delightHilarious and fascinating to get a peek behind the curtain of AN Golden Era of SNL. The love and fondness that these 4 have for each other is so clear and just melts my heart. Also they’re obviously so funny and all the bits and teasing each other is a joy. Love you guys!!!
-
Taco JohnThe best SNL podcast ever madeI love this podcast and have listened to each episode multiple times. The chemistry is obviously amazing and the guys are fantastic at breaking down every digital short they have conceived. I am also happy that we are invited to Seth’s corner each week to get an inside look at some of his favorite sketches that were or were not a part of the show that week. Mondays are finally starting to be a little brighter now that The Lonley Island is dropping sweet sweet pods. Thanks boys!

lp133126I LOVE IT!!My parents would show me throw it on the ground when I was like, four, and later, I learned about SNL, then I realized it was a digital short. I was so exited! (P.S. Andy (and briefly Jorma in that Florida episode) was amazing on Brooklyn 99!)

BrandonmarkbThis podcast is AN golden eraBeen a fan since the pre-YouTube download-the-file-days, watching The Bu and singing KaBlamo and Just 2 Guyz with my college roommates. I love this pod so much.
-
allisonroxanneINCREDIBLEAH! SUCH a treat! I love the level of detail, and it’s so much fun to go back and watch the ones that are online as they discuss them.
-
haytakGreatnessThis is awesome can’t wait for new eps

HNF44The bestThis podcast is a gem and a treat! Love you guys
-
AndiChatWhy isn’t Jorma on SGH?LOVE this show - funniest pod out there right now no lie. But did Jorma feel left out not being on the new digital short??
-
ThorsonMGCircling the drainIs this what happens when a podcast slowly fades away? Mailbag week 1. Pause week 2. Try to create some suspense for weeks ahead. I really hope I can listen to another 11min of ads next week. Bummer. This had promise.
-
PaulitoBrother10/07 EpisodeFinally, these guys seem to be hitting their stride - and giving the audience what they want. A true testimony to the “less is more” mantra. 🤪
-
agentsofshield123456799DEKEFantastic!I love this podcast as much as Andy hates Frisbee.
-
Micah vvvvToo many adsNot enough show for the amount of ads for a bunch of terrible company’s
-
Motoman123Always make me laughThese guys never fail to make me laugh. It's a treat to hear about SNL behind-the-scenes. Also, who knew that Andy is a hyperlexic?!
-
SeamusddSpectacular!I stumped on this podcast and I’m so happy I did! It is ear-candy for your soul. So fricking funny! Thank you all for making it.

Lep GuyMy most anticipated podcast each weekThis is such a fun and insightful podcast. As a fan of The Lonely Island and Seth from this golden era of SNL, this is exactly what I want. This podcast is like the director’s commentary for the digital shorts (and other sketches they were involved in). I know they have a lot of shorts still to go through, but I’m already hoping they can keep it going longer by covering other things like Lonely Island album tracks that were not digital shorts, Popstar, etc. Overall, this podcast is just a really good time. It’s like being a fly on the wall while four funny, thoughtful guys (who obviously really like each other) talk about the inside details of sketches that I had observed from the outside years ago.
-
DynastyxCool Beans!Listened to all of these in like a week, I went to Hotrod for my 18th birthday and absolutely died laughing, 17 years later I watch it at least once a year. Thanks for this podcast it’s been a pure joy. It has also explained why I couldn’t ever find Andy in another podcast, glad you convinced him!
-
UCSD90Love this podcast too muchI love everything from the way the theme song changes with each episode to the theme for “Seth’s Corner” to the way these three people have great affection for each other and the laughter between them is genuine. My only sadness is that once they’ve talked about all the shorts, the podcast will probably end.

rpwalkFantastic editingWhoever is editing this deserves a Nobel Prize in podcast editing. The dialogue (quad-o-logue?) is so tight that I imagine a million tiny edits to dead air and breaths. Plus, the four are rarely heard talking over each other. It enhances the comedic timing of the four hosts and makes it even more pleasing to listen to. Must be Akiva’s attention to detail. Kudos!
-
Adam DixonAn Golden PodcastI hope this podcast never ends.
-
Patrick Dollar SignAn honest reviewI love this podcast. It can range anywhere from 36 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes. One of the hosts doesn’t wanna do it at all, and they rarely talk about the subject that is promised in the description, highly recommend.
-
Rockit609Seth go awayLove the lonely island boys and was a fan of Seth’s until his nonstop snarky comments. I guess let him stay but doesn’t he have 3 other podcasts
-
pnw_21Loved it!So funny and insightful. I love hearing all the stories
-
Lawrence3789My favorite nonsenseI love the BTS of the process. I think it would be great to have Loren call in from his yacht and talk about you guys. Or just have Hader impersonate him the whole time. You all are the best. Thanks for the laughs.
-
Carito_reviewsLoveeeeeI love the SNL deep cuts and am realizing these guys were way ahead of their time.
-
Lex C Vit.Immediately funnyFound this podcast after going down an SNL rabbit hole and love the behind the scenes banter. Can someone please tell Andy people like this podcast and actually listen to it and enjoy it while simultaneously being outside / driving / working a boring job / doing whatever

The Lonely IsmuthBurn the TapeLove the podcast, but the title is clunky… The obvious title is burn the tape.

lisalang4Nostalgia and good natured ribbingThis is the perfect pick-me-up when I need to ‘turn that frown upside down.’ Seth Meyers and The Lonely Island have amazing chemistry, and I’m thrilled it’s now a multi-episode podcast. It’s a total time waster and a true joy for 40+ year olds who still hold on to their 14-year-old humor. Can’t wait for the ‘punched’ episode!
-
Parnassus4th MicThe 4th mic should be someone that doesn’t like hearing their own voice as much as Seth does but can facilitate a conversation. He never stops talking, always brings it back to himself. He is wildly self centered. And he can’t riff with these guys but you can tell he really thinks he can. So try hard. We want Lonely Island not Seth
-
khor12Memory laneI grew up watching these sketches. It so fun listening about the process. This podcast is awesome, thank you for making it!
-
cagey_01The best!I hope this pod continues beyond the SNL years and into all the great respective and joint projects they’re working on today, I love it so much. Like, now I want to know about Andy’s new movie and Akiva’s new Naked Gun movie.

Nutz3407Digital Shorts Unpacked and SNL Behind the Scenes? YASSSSHi, I’m a podcast producer and lifetime SNL enthusiast. Let me just say first of all—this podcast is SO excellently produced and a joy to listen to from that perspective alone. The care taken for each voice to be heard and the clarity of the production is noted—no easy task—and I appreciate every minute as I can glean every fast paced story. The fact that I am getting all the behind the scenes tea for not only the SNL Digital Shorts but also the shows they appeared on, is seriously an SNL-phile’s happy place. A bright spot in my week, lots of laughs and great rapport and shared memories between longtime friends. Thanks for bringing this show to life!!!
