    Too drawn out
These episodes repeat themselves too much and could be 10% as long. “And Matt would get a call from a big Hollywood figure… and you wouldn’t believe who would need Matt for his movie… and Matt would be asked to be a part of a huge film production…” Can you just get to the point?

Well researched but too woke and zero commonality
As a huge Noble Blood fan, I was trying to recommend this podcast to a friend but could not sum up what it’s about. People? Things? Stories? There’s no common thread to the topics. And it veers needlessly into woke identity politics— as Noble Blood does more and more, to the point I usually can’t make it through an episode. Pick a theme, read it a bit faster Dana, and let history speak for itself without shoving wokeness into it.

I know you need ads, but. . .
Please STOP with the fertility center ads with the three year old kid reading the copy. I’ve heard it FIVE times today. . . .

Superman - Kindness is not dead
I’m a mom of two young adults with special needs. One of my biggest fears is that my kids will be taken advantage of, which is why the beginning of the Superman story was difficult to listen to. The rest of it made my cry with happiness about the goodness and kindness of people. Even though I listened to the Nick Cage Superman podcast, I missed this episode. Thank you for resharing it. 🩷 (I’ve loved the rest of the Very Special Episodes as well.)

    Stilted much?
Fun, breezy content, but for goodness sake, PLEASE talk like a normal human being! Even pitched up to 1.25x playback, it’s still almost unlistenable.. fix the delivery and you’re gold 👍🏼

    Fun Podcast
I enjoy these quick, random stories very much and I’m hoping there will be many more episodes!

    Fun
Great quick history. Love random historical facts and stories and could listen to Dana narrate anything. Just please don’t have anyone do a Russian accent ever again.

    Refreshing
Any podcast with Dana involved I'm on board. For all those complaining about her changing speeds while speaking should realize that's what makes her great! I've listened to Noble Blood since the beginning and I love that she breaks up the timing. It's like a "normal" conversation, which you seldom get these days (Chris Wimmer with Black Barrels' excellent "Infamous America" and "Legends of the Old West" uses the same speech patterns). Also, how can it be that Dana making the effort to properly enunciate her words detract in any way? Keep up the good work and please avoid the pull to go to the left, or to the right. ✌🏻

    Came here for Nancy Drew…
…Discovered the Zaron from Ridiculous Crime was doing another podcast…of course, I am on board!

    So Fun!
I love Dana’s storytelling style. Quick note for those who don’t like the speed at which she speaks: You can speed up the playback.

Fun but Dana sounds like Siri when reading
Can she just read the copy normally instead of all stilted? So distracting!

Narrator needs to redo their speech pattern
Great idea, but she sounds like a robot. Stop over enunciating.

    Great new show!
I really like this. Wish they would eliminate the background music. But I’ll still listen.

    Love it!
Only halfway through the Titanic episode, but I already love the podcast hosts. Great storytelling and fabulous pace. Excited for future episodes!

Interesting Topic- but background music is distracting
The topic is interesting and I like that you hear from guests, not just the host- but the background music is so distracting, I think I’ll have to pass on this show.

Narrator voice, a naturally slow, making me crazy had to stop listening
    Slowed down speech!!! Noooooo

    More filler than content
I listened to the Titanic episode, which was pretty weak. Most podcasts like this just seem like a kind mental fast food, conceived to make money selling ads. There’s no story here, no new insights, no “gets” with above the line talent. Instead, there’s a lot of filler about Titanic, the ship, the production in general, James Cameron’s career, etc. all of which could be found online. I thought the hosts were insincere and annoying. Basically take everything that made podcasts a promising medium, like subjectivity, passion, and intimacy, remove it and you have this podcast and a host of others.

    Good!
I enjoyed this podcast, but I wish the narrator would speed up her speech a little. The slow rate of her speech distracted me from the story.

    Lightweight “empty calorie” podcast.
Reminds me of the weekly TV ‘Movie of the Week’ — perfect for entertaining 12 years old with limited attention span as this group dumbs down any potential story into banal nonsense. This rates a 1 out of 10 compared to the many thoughtful podcasts now capturing people’s imagination and attention through creative and informative story telling.

    A Huge Waste of Time
There is no reason for this show to exist.
  • kezaezy
    Excellent story telling but …
… the music bed throughout the entire story is distracting and annoying and doesn’t add anything to the story.

    Love this podcast!!
Excited to hear the episodes to come!

    Great first episode
Just listened to the first episode. The storytelling was great and kept me listening until the end. I am looking forward to more episodes as they become available.
