    love it!!!!!! but…
Jeff is a big bowl of interruptions 🤣🤣love you but Jeff you don’t have to interrupt the angel that is Mrs. Essman. Especially to say something she already said 🤷🏾‍♂️

    Good stories, but Jeff…..
Interesting stories from the episodes but Jeff’s constant interrupting and “correcting” of Susie gets pretty annoying (especially because he is wrong a lot)

    Where are you?
Don’t listen to the whiners. The show is great. Please come back and finish all

    Jeff, relax
The show’s good, but Jeff is CONSTANTLY interrupting, and sometimes, to go on a completely irrelevant tangent.

    Jeff is annoying
Jeff. STOP SAYING “by the way”. Love the show but you are annoying.

    Entertaining
I love re-visiting all the episodes and hearing behind the scenes stories. Susie is great and tells good stories. Jeff also has good stories but disgresses too often and too far from topic. He’s better when he sticks closer to the topic.

    Gawd Bless Susie
Huge fan of the show and podcast, and it’s all because of Susie Essman and the guests. I do enjoy Jeff’s insights from time to time. But dude, for a show that celebrates IMPROV, you sure do a lot of INTERRUPTING, NOT LISTENING, and NEGATING YOUR PARTNER. I recommend you take a class with Mick at The Annoyance and refresh your improv skills. And to reiterate, I do love the show.

    Susie deserves a medal
Although Jeff is usually grating, the Seder episode was almost unbearable. He just cannot seem to stop interrupting and correcting Susie. Some of his interruptions are off topic or just serve to hear himself talk. It’s obnoxious.

C’mon Jeff and Cheryl, no way
Susie Essman is a GEM. And she is apparently the most patient person on the planet and should be sainted. Jeff, give it a rest. Your constant interruptions and domineering behavior make this podcast very hard to listen to, my blood pressure goes up every time you talk over Susie which is once every 15 seconds or so. It is incredibly rude and disrespectful and not ok. And very unfortunately, Cheryl is no longer someone I will give any time to. I’m skipping her episodes.

    So sad about Cheryl
i adore Curb but Cheryl’s enabling of her husband RFK Jr is incredibly disappointing and has ruined Curb for me. Such a sad and frightening time.

Don’t care for Jeff’s treatment of Susie on podcast
He’s rude!!!!! And, if Cheryl Hines ever comes on the show I will turn it off so fast. Not the person I could respect.

    Susie Essman is a 5
Great concept and makes me laugh. I'm a huge fan of Curb. Susie has her reasons for tolerating disrespectful treatment from Jeff, and I trust her judgment. But, it is difficult to hear a role model of mine spoken to like that.

“By The Way” … can Larry David replace Jeff??
Susie, I could listen to you all day. Jeff, you’re a brilliant actor but this podcast isn’t the place for you. The way you speak to Susie is awful at times. You interrupt and talk over her. I want to listen to this podcast but you’re ruining it. Producers: Bring Larry on with Susie. If you don’t take Jeff off, this is going downhill fast.

    Jeff is insufferable
I’ve tried listening because I’m a huge fan of Curb, but Jeff makes it impossible to enjoy. He’s constantly interrupting Susie with irrelevant asides as well as to correct her. Stop saying “by the way” every thirty seconds. You’d think that after a lot of negative feedback, he’d try to reel it in, but he’s such a huge narcissistic blowhard, it hasn’t happened. How Susie puts up with him, I’ll never understand.
  • Seth Jonas
    Awesome.
This is a great podcast on curb. I see some people are annoyed at Jeff’s interruptions but he is who he is and has great stories. (And it seems Susie can deal with Jeff) I am hearing rumors that the podcast is going to stop which would be a HUGE disappointment. If true I hope Susie and Jeff reconsider. The stories they tell about each episode are fantastic as well as the guests they have had.

Started off strong, now just ads
Episodes keep getting shorter, and ads keep getting longer

    Love Susie!
Jeff is a huge blowhard. Interrupts constantly, says “no, no, no” to Susie. Can’t listen to his ego. Susie is fantastic, funny, knowledgeable. Please shut him up.
  • BFP77
    Sorry but it’s about Cheryl
I won’t dock the rating, but I do have to tell you that Cheryl has me so disappointed as a human that I can no longer enjoy Curb or anything about it. It’s tainted now.

    Jeff is intolerable
Not sure how to rate this pod because Susie is amazing and deserves five stars and I love Curb but Jeff is such a tough listen - I can barely give him one star. Narcissistic, odd tangents that go nowhere, pretentious, petulant, endless interruptions - so stressful. And the ‘by the ways’ and ‘it’s a big bowl of…’ - yeesh - so cringe and embarrassing. Jeff - this just isn’t the forum for your gifts.
  • Fruatrated-0987abc
    Susie is gold
I could listen to Susie’s stories all day! Jeff’s constant interruptions and speaking only about himself is quite obnoxious and makes me turn the podcast off. Jeff, you are not that amazing!

    Jeff Garlin Ruins This
Instead of his not so subtle bards at President Trump, Garlin should work on not saying "BY THE WAY" 100 times per episode. No one cares about your politics and for the love of god stop interrupting Susie!!

Loved Susie but can’t listen to Jeff

Good show, wish Jeff Garlin would let other people speak
I enjoy this rambling conversation between two friends and the conversations get even better when they have a guest. However, I wonder why I keep listening each time Jeff Garlin interrupts Susie or another person- or even himself- by saying “by the way.” Now that’s a phrase I use myself and I’m prone to go off on tangents but this man uses it about twice a minute. It can be infuriating and Jeff has trouble letting anyone finish a sentence. I’m amazed that Susie has the patience to spend so much time with her friend like this and I silently cheer when she puts him in his place once in a long while. Jeff has said that he has ADHD and I assume that contributes to his need to interrupt and mansplain. So I wish him the best, I love Curb, but as a podcaster Garlin deserves a Razzie.

    Big Bowl of Annoyance
Agree with all the reviews that praise Susie and mention Jeff’s constant interruptions and ramblings that arent even funny despite his attempts at humor. Its so stressful every time Susie begins to speak knowing an abrupt, loud and rude Jeff interruption is coming. And his overused phrase “a big bowl of…” is so cheesy (ie Ted Danson is just a big bowl of funny). I used to listen all the time but now only check in occasionally to see if Jeff has curbed his behavior.

    Feels like a book report
A lot of people have commented about Jeff, and I get it, but at least he adds anecdotes. My concern is that Susie just recaps each scene without adding much. Most fans already know what happens in each episode - we want more of the type of info that Jeff is adding. When they have guests, they barely let them talk and cut them off to go back to the synopsis. This is why I would stop listening—it’s very frustrating.
  • Noel762b
    Love the podcast
Jeff you need to chill a bit appreciate the insights but no need to correct Susie all the time Pretty pretty pretty good
  • tallfoster
    Susie is awesome
Jeff - keep interrupting, it seems honest and quirky enough to be funny. Enjoy this pod very much. Love Curb!
  • jasonT0713
    Big bowl of annoying
Suzie should do the show solo, Jeff ruins a great podcast.
  • LarrysBuddyGreg197
Seems like commercials and advertising eventually come to ruin everything good.
Giant fan of the show; I don’t hold it against him because I understand, but Jeff was a bit hard to listen to sometimes. I think the increase in off-topic conversation wasn’t an accident, because an hour episode is too long
  • miappreevoos
    I give up
I SO want to enjoy this podcast, but Jeff’s constant interruptions and contradictions smother Susie and any of the guests. What a disappointment.

    Jeff Constantly Interrupts
I was so excited when this podcast was announced and I love the insight Jeff and Susie have but Jeff’s constant interruptions and speaking over Susie makes it a tough listen. Unfortunately I think it would be better with just Susie and someone else. I got through 2 seasons hoping it would get better but no luck.

    Here for this!!!
Jeff, you are thinking about the great movie, Babes in Toyland! With Barnaby as the villain. Love that Jeff and Susie have come together for this podcast! I love hearing the behind the scenes stories and reliving these iconic episodes with them. Having said that (!!), I hope Jeff can find his rhythm with Susie a bit more. I am here for alllll of the anecdotes and have no problem if the podcasts are longer, an hour plus. So I encourage Jeff to give Susie space to finish her thoughts and know that we are here for all of it! There’s plenty of time to tell all of the stories. No need to rush these podcasts. I’m here for every one of them!! Love you guys and of course the mastermind, Larry David!

    Less Jeff Please
I love Curb and I love the recaps but Jeff incessantly interrupts Susie and other guests. He feels the need to mansplain everything. If I hear one more “agree to disagree,” I’m unfollowing.
  • JLKORDZ
    Jeff stop interrupting
I love this podcast despite Jeff’s frequent interruptions of Susie and guests. Your insights are valuable, but so are others’. We understand your role in Curb Your Enthusiasm, but constant reminders are unnecessary. We get it, you brought the entire cast of 2nd city to curb. Despite these issues, I’ll continue listening as a big fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Keep him in line Susie.

    Love love love
Love this podcast! I look forward to the Thursdays they have a new one. They both have great insight to the show. Jeff interrupts a lot, so that is bothersome. But overall very enjoyable if you love Curb Your Enthusiasm
  • Tm5791
    Jeff as bad as ever
I hoped season 4 would be different and Jeff would adjust given all the negative feedback. He hasn’t, in fact he’s worse than ever with his tangents and “by the way”s. I’m out.

    What’s not to love?!
It’s Jeff, it’s Susie, sometimes there’s a guest…it’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, it’s my new favorite thing now that the series finale has aired; what’s not to love?!?!! Just adding on, I do wish they would warn us before going on a break if/when possible - I understand that things come up, life outside of entertaining us requires attention, and the world can sometimes be an unpredictable place, but a little heads up would be great so I’m not over here refreshing the podcast app & wondering if I missed an update or something 😂 (Also noting that 10/3 was Rosh Hashana, and 10/12 was Yom Kippur, so they may have just been off for the holidays - Shana Tova Metuka to all who observe these holidays!) Jeff, Susie, assorted & esteemed guests - we miss you, we hope all is well & excitedly (but patiently) await your return to the “History of Curb Your Enthusiasm” podcast!

    Where’s Season 4?
Are they taking another break now that Season 3 ended? It’s been 12 days (instead of the usual 7 days) since the last episode. I’m having withdrawals so I listened to the last episode 2 more times because I’m hooked on Curb and need a 12-step program to help ween me off.

    By the Way
Love the show, but Jeff needs a replacement for the phrase, “by the way.” It could be a drinking game.
  • AQ Blake
Love It, but stop interrupting Jeff.
I love Curb and this podcast’s discussion and insights into the individual episodes. However, I have to say that Jeff’s constant interruptions make the podcast almost unlistenable for me. I enjoy WHAT Jeff has to say, but my brain feels like a pinball half way through an episode with his inability to have respect when Susie and the occasional guests are speaking, and have a conversation where each person can finish a thought. Please reconsider your approach, as you have much to give.

The commercial to Jeff ratio has finally flipped me
Sweet lord. I love the insight from Jeff, he’s a really important ‘node’ in the comedy universe. But for the love of all that is annoying in this world, the unchecked ADHD performance almost makes me want to throw my phone into the river. I am going to train an AI that recognizes his voice and edits him out or replaces him with loud buzzing factory noises. Add to that the ever-growing number of commercials and the value drops to near-zero. Bring on guests and they don’t get a word in edge-wise. I think I’ve finally given up. Jeff rudely interrupts -guests- and in a few episodes actually answers questions addressed to the guest! In the most recent episodes he told Sheryl how she went about getting the job (it was all about him of course) after Susie asked her. Then he silently fumed while Cheryl told the episode back story that was -her- story. Pathetic. I was hoping that the repetition would attenuate itself over time… it has not. Sigh.

Season 3/Episode 8: Krazee Eyez Killa
This episode is sooooo special to me! Shortly after this episode aired, I got a new Bulldog puppy and didn’t think twice before I named her “DELICIOUS”. If you know, you know. RIP to my special girl (with the best name EVAH!) If she could have lived forever, she would have. PS: Grateful to Susie and Jeff for taking the time and sharing all the cool tidbits. God Bless Richard Lewis, I’ll miss him forever!

And by the way…..ads and more adds
Absolutely brutal amount of commercials. 20 minutes of Curb talk and 10 minutes of ads. Is HBO really that hard up for cash? Fortunately there’s a skip ahead button but it’s still not as annoying as Jeff constantly say “And by the way…” and talking over and correcting Susie nonstop. Let the poor woman speak. Update: ep with Krazee Eyez, he said “By the way…” 35 times. Ugh.
  • Justin14er
It would be great without Jeff
He’s so rude, constantly interrupting Susie and the guests as if everything he had to say is sooooo amazing and hilarious that it just has to be said at that moment. Susie, get a new co-host and watch the podcast take off.
  • Nadja From Michigan
    WTH? Such a bummer
I love Curb. I’ve seen Jeff & Susie live at a comedy fest in Michigan. I even bought Jeff’s book. During this podcast Jeff is a huge speed bump. He slows down momentum and derails Susie’s narrative by interrupting her to contribute stories about himself that add nothing to the experience. He even interrupts guests. He is exhausting and it makes me cringe to hear his lack of self awareness. Occasionally he compliments Susie but it sounds like a clunky, showy attempt to be a good guy who can periodically talk about someone other than himself. My favorite episodes are the ones without him. I may stop listening to the podcast because I am concerned listening to Jeff much longer will impact my ability to enjoy watching the show. Susie is great! Generous and warm with guests. Knows how to connect and listen to people.
  • jacob2323!!
Advertisement to length ratio is way too high
Good show. I’m enjoying it, but Jeff is obnoxiously rude. Keep your phone close by so you can be ready to fast forward through ads. The shows are only 30 mins, and 1/3 of that is advertisements.
