Manta1895Dr. Adam is the best! This podcast and its affiliates are an automatic play every time a new episode pops up. I subscribed to faculty lounge for more in depth analysis of the Browns, and can’t get enough. I never knew how IMPORTANT communication studies are. Really helps me connect the dots for myself, our family, my childhood, and of course SISTER WIVES (a shared obsession). Dr. Adam, I am so grateful for you, your humor, and all the work you put into your podcast! And YES please please please find a way to interview Kody’s nephew Ben. AND once the NDAs are expired, we gotta hear from production/camera operators/boom mic operators/any behind the scenes staff about what Robyn was really like, how production brownnosed (pun intended!) Kody to keep him talking/going (he has to know they’re trolling him, right?!), and what the OG 3 were really like when cameras were off. THANK YOUUUU!!

JessB687Never stop. He’s got the rizz. Never stop! I love the dad jokes. Dr. Adam is very insightful it’s very interesting to look at the family from a different angle.

Call of Duty: ZombiesDr. Adam needs a cohost!I’ve heard Dr. Adam on other podcasts and he’s GREAT and funny and does a good job. Now when he’s alone doing this show, he’s SO boring! I have a very hard time getting through an episode and can only tolerate him for 5 minutes. I have so many shows that I started and then had to stop and I can’t go back and finish them. I jjust can’t listen to him.

HH2020!Interesting perspectiveLove the perspective and Dr. Adam’s voice is so calming. Maybe you can break into guided meditations too, Adam!
-
therealmissygVery enjoyableReally appreciate this podcast. Great perspective on one of my favorite shows and the fact that’s it’s “clean” is amazing.
-
Kansas AnglophileSoothing and amusingDr Adam is a calming force, even as he gives you new insight into this most infuriating group of polygamy adjacent adults (??!??).
-
01dawnSoothing and entertainingDr. Adam’s voice is soothing to listen to and he is entertaining.

Rebbyreb99Great voiceYou have the most soothing voice!!! I like your analysis of kody. When the rest of us who have some ideas of what should happen to kody, you are a grown up about it. Love this podcast

KAbamagirl5 Stars!!! 😊I love this podcast! The host’s voice is pleasing. He is very fair in his assessments. He has knowledge behind his opinions about the cast and will occasionally dig into it which I LOVE! He stays out of politics and I feel, only dips into political correctness when it applies and then doesn’t belabor it. He doesn’t get snarky about religion/Christianity which I REALLY appreciate! His dad jokes are cute not cringey. Overall, just good, informative, solid reviews of the episodes! Good job!👍🏻

hoooo2394Guest hostsIf you’re going to have guests during the SW hiatus, can you please have Michelle (of Blighty Day) with her new man and his wife? That would be fascinating

BlakerGirl09Best Podcast Ever!I learn so much from Dr. Adam! I am strengthening my life skills about communication types and interpersonal styles that he educates on! Being able to recognize some of these traits in the people around me and then have a better idea what their interpersonal goals are and how best to respond to them is absolutely irl helpful! Not only do I get the rundown of a show I can hardly watch, because of the uncomfortable family dynamics, but I get an education too! You’re the third SW podcast I tried and the only one I enjoyed. Thank you! PS. Thanks for the clean language! It’s very classy and makes where and when I listen much easier (I have to turn off so many podcasts when kids come into the room). Instead, I’m recommending this to teenagers!

Fishy22threeHow did I miss this podcast?I’ve been watching sister wives from the beginning, when they’re really were no podcasts, but have definitely listened to those that have popped up since then. I don’t know how I missed this one, but it’s great! I love the the added perspective of body language, and intention. I also like that this is one of the few podcasts that seems to remember past information. And it’s all done with quite a bit of humor.

Annsi SwerveEp. 19.7Your podcast recap was better than the episode ………by a mile.

Second_TreeMy Favorite Podcast Ever!Dr. Adam is an outstanding podcaster and human. I love his analyses of these reality shows. He is incredibly insightful. In addition, he is extremely funny. I literally laugh out loud at his jokes. His voice is soothing. I wish I could take one of his communications classes. Thank you, Dr. Adam! You’re the best!

Megan W DCalming & HelpfulI listen to most of the Sister Wives podcasts. This is the one I go to when my days are stressful and hectic and I just need a calming, rational voice to keep me company. Thanks, Dr. Adam!

Gracie girl cooksLove Office HoursI enjoyed this time with you so much, Dr. Adam. This is why I love to listen to your podcast. Completely enjoyable and useful for me!
-
emcon5InsightfulMy favorite sister wives podcast hands down. Love how Dr Adam goes through the episodes. He describes the scene and puts a spin on the comments and words used. He also talks about the non verbal actions. His pov is about communication and the science. I have always been fascinated by this show because i could never see what kody brought to the table to continue to get wives and for them to stay for so long. Dr Adam has explained some of my questions about these relationships.
-
EllevirtueGreat podcastI love the mixture of a perspective of this crazy family from a professional who clearly understands interfamily relationships and is a man with a wife children of his own. The content isn’t snarky but still sheds light on how strange and sometimes clumsily dysfunctional the Brown family can be. Would 100% recommend. Office hours “Be Still” is the perfect listen if you don’t just want Sisterwives content.
-
Nanker-PhelgeKind, insightful, and funnyDr Adam is very real as he analyzes the Brown family (and other shows as need/opportunity arise). He’s kind and brings the puns and dad jokes. I’m hooked.
-
jewell87895 starsI appreciate the host’s thoughtful and kind words in world that is often harsh. He challenges me to view the Brown family through a different lense and consider things I would not have thought of otherwise. Thank you for your hard work on the podcast!
-
k8inDCMy favorite podcast!Always look forward to Dr. Adam’s fresh perspective on this flawed but lovable family.
-
Wow wow :):):);(;(:(;/:):)No snark just straightforward reviewLove this podcast!!! Dr Adam is so refreshing, he gives a full review and does not snark on the Brown family. He has a very unique perspective and this is one of my favorite podcasts.

Cait O’NeillIf you’d like the social sciences, you’ll love this podcastI love the fact this podcast host breaks down everybody’s body language and facial reactions for a true analysis it if people are lying if they’re genuine in their emotions and how they are portraying their selves. can learn a lot just by observing different things. It’s like you’re taking a class on body language with your favorite reality TV shows enjoy and look forward to the most podcast each week. Keep up all the good work.
-
vcg77Very thoughtful show. Just startedI’m enjoying this very much. Smart Doctor with a fair, serious take on a complicated situation. We’ll done. New best SW content.
-
FrankthepeaKeep going!I really like the look-back and analytic approach - it’s interesting looking at the old episodes through the lens of our current knowledge of what has happened to the family. I hope you do the entire series!
-
LouFranTeriyakiDryThe constant play by play of where people are looking after they say something, the camera angle, or what box is in Meri’s room, etc., is annoying. Tell me what you think they mean when they say something; not where people are looking and what the camera is doing.
-
MarmoniamNuanced, Insightful and Well DoneDr. Adam’s intellectualizing sociological and psychological analysis of Sister Wives is really thoughtful, nuanced and kind. I appreciate the academic terms for behaviors, interactions snd events we’ve all watched and pondered. It’s like he’s taken my thoughts and feelings about moments that bothered me or made me think and explained back to me why they did. I can’t help but feel while listening that he is the therapist this family needed!
-
LizLovesPodcastsCompletely new take on SWThank you, Dr. Adam, for your insights and unique perspective. I love how you use your expertise to analyze this family in a scientific way yet keep the content light and funny. I feel like I’m getting smarter while enjoying one of my guilty pleasures!

Dawn3355Sister Wive PodcastHappy to hear Sister Wives coming back 🙌🏻
-
TTMC440New perspectivesDr. Adam has such a calm and soothing voice. He brings a very interesting perspective on the family dynamics and I have learned a lot of things related to family communication and interactions from his academic perspective and explanations. I love a snarky Sister Wives podcast-but I am equally enjoying this one with his input on the family delivered with kindness and minimal snark (along with goofy dad jokes).
-
WardenofMagickThe Sister Wives Recap You NEED In Your LifeWhat I like: Dr. Adam really breaks down the verbal and non-verbal cues and body language that the Browns display. He is respectful of pronouns and doesn’t misgender anyone. It’s a great psychological insight and recap podcast for the whole family. What I don’t like: The podcast could be longer. That Dr. Adam signs off with, “More importantly than any of that, I am your friend.” We’re not friends. I can’t come to you with my joys and concerns. We don’t bond over life experiences. I listen to the podcast you make, Dr. Adam. Don’t state a relationship when there isn’t one. Update: Dr. Adam no longer signs off with the friend comment above. I’m a fan of the new closing. Other reviewers have asked why he covers the Look Backs but is on season 2 in the reviews. Because he has just started the podcast. Give him time to get to season 18, if the podcast lasts that long. Update 2: Now with ads. I get it. But, it makes me sad. :(
-
ntdwwiraEnjoy itPeaceful pleasant but if you’re going to cover Plathville ya gotta learn to say CAYro Georgia 😂
-
Renee CampKindness, Positivity, Knowledge, and a Bit of SnarkWhat a kind and gentle podcast full of empathy, compassion, and just the right amount of snark! Dr. Adam approaches the text through a knowledgeable lens of interpersonal communication and body language. He doesn’t let terrible actions slide, but he does provide some understanding. I also love that he promotes compassion for others and for yourself. I appreciate you, Dr. Adam!
-
MotherbuttarsGreat ContentI found Dr. Adam through a collaboration with Surviving Sister Wives. What a happy find! Such a positive vibe while pointing out all the hypocrisy and interpersonal foibles in the Brown family. I love Dr. Adam and his kind, pleasant and uplifting podcast. I binged all of Season 1 in one afternoon/evening. I’m going to need lots more of his content. ❤️❤️❤️
-
Mr BlindWhy are you covering old season…when the new season is on right now and very few podcasters are covering it? Maybe cover the new season in real time, then when it’s over, go back and do the older seasons? Much more relevant, no? If you actually want new listeners? Also, stop simping. I heard your crossover with another podcaster and the way you were falling all over her was embarrassing, she was even uncomfortable at moments.
-
Vee1096Love!I can’t believe I haven’t listened to you before now! I discovered you by listening to psych legal pop. You have such a calming voice and a kind, understanding take on this family.
