Great guests, host. Host could use some practice.
By virtue of her background and platform, Bridget is able to get some great guests on the podcast. However, I get the feeling that Bridget isn’t a natural interviewer. Her questions feel poorly worded and awkward for the guest, and she also seems to have a tough time formulating follow-up questions that make sense. I don’t want to be too hard on her, since I know this isn’t her profession, but I often find the interviews extremely hard to listen to when Bridget is talking because of the awkward cadence and poor flow.

    Get to the gymnastics
Too much lead in talk. Too much fluff. Please just get to the actual gymnastics talk. It’s 12 minutes in and you haven’t spoken about one gymnast. Not one.

    Annoying interviewer habits
Bridget needs to work on her interview skills. I find it incredibly annoying how she keeps interrupting her guests with her “mmhmms” and “yeps” and “okays.” That’s fine in normal conversation, but as the interviewer, you need to let the guest talk. Mute your mic or something, because it’s super irritating.

    Repetitive
Lots of potential, but way too repetitive. Will keep listening hoping it will improve

Doesn’t know what it wants to be
This podcast says it’s the “podcast of record” for NCAA gym but her guests are talking about themselves, not the current NCAA landscape. Which is fine but not what I came for.
