cwisstofergot nothing but love [+ gratitude]lotsah comedians going around saying comedians are now’s philosophers but really are just horny for dropping f-slurs and saying trans people are ick. THESE are the perfect brains and they bring the heat/love/passion. thank you lucy n sam! what a gift(s).

jayj1414Utter chaosIf you played a drinking game where you took a shot for every non-sequitor, you’d collapse before the halfway mark of the first ep. Don’t play the drinking game, do listen to the pod.

O RatYes.I’m often wary of ‘banter’ style podcasts but these two are absolutely hilarious and have a fantastic rapport. A delectable slice of structured chaos.

DescalzasMore more more!If you want this in your ears all the time, does it mean you have a perfect brain too? Maybe. I regret knowing about this podcast when it launched because that means I don’t get to discover it in a year’s time with a whole backlog of episodes to binge. Top notch. Conch really sealed the deal.

aliikinYESLove Lucy and Sam! My new favorite podcast

Reviewer0B12As funny as it is shortThe episodes are less than 30 minutes long and they keep getting shorter. If you subtract the ads, website promo, sound effects, and the intro/outro, Episode 1 had ~44 minutes of talking while Episode 6 had ~26 minutes. The average podcast is usually about 1 hour long (for better or worse, in terms of quality). While the edited-down style of Perfect Brains helps maintain a certain level of quality, it's still a bit too short. I think 45-minute episodes would be a good compromise.

philo.sofiaGreat fun but no axolotls for kids!!!Love the podcast and Lucy and Sam’s perfect brains all around, but I do want to make very clear that axolotls are not good pets for most kids! They have high maintenance requirements and delicate balance of water chemistry—plus their limb loss/regeneration is painful and difficult! Definitely not a overzealous child fail-safe. To be honest, no pets should ultimately be a child’s responsibility—they are living things that should be treated with respect!

KellztheraptorSo funny I was kicked out of the cafeWell, I’ve been very excited for this to come out and started listening with my morning coffee. Fortunately it was so funny that I couldn’t help but laugh loudly and it began to disturb the other patrons of the cafe. So I took my coffee on a walk through nature and it was lovely. Thanks, Lucy and Sam.

chriskaprysBig4 stars only for downgrading the cash prize from $1,000,000 to $400,000. I still have a lot of debt, and my shoes are still haunted.
