    Typical liberal bias.
It’s as if the Indian propaganda machine has gotten to the point where your average person believes Native Americans were somehow in some kind of moral high ground. And all of their problems can be placed squarely on the “white hoards”.

MMIW bringing Native issues to all people
Everyone of us has a responsibility to stand up for Indigenous issues. Corruption and bias needs to end and it will not end until we seek justice for the these missing people! Payne and tenderfoot cast did a fantastic job bringing this to us. Tell your friends and share these stories so we make major change!

    Unbearable first episode
Turned it off after 10 mins in.

First 3 rod could have been 1, and prolly isn’t even a murder.
If after you investigate, all you have is 3 episodes of a crazy addict doing crazy addict things, it’s kinda hard to ignore everyone and everything else, just bc she is native. The cop dealing with Kadijah was great. All you softies complaining about his language would hope to have a cop like him on the investigation. He’s just irate that this junky a-hole is getting away with it.

    Eh
Are we going to hear any investigation work or just the continued victim mindset of reservation inhabitants? I almost spit when the connection between natives not having their land and obesity 💀 Also I appreciate the concern for missing persons it those of us who are locals know that nobody will ever be found. People don’t talk.

    Uninteresting
This is hands down the worst Tenderfoot TV podcast I’ve ever listened to. I was interested in the content (loved season 3 of Up and Vanished and truly would like to learn more about MMIP) but it fell flat. Seemed meandering, unnecessarily drawn out, and couldn’t hold my attention. Skip this one.

    Okay
First off, justice for the families and I hope this podcast brings much awareness. As far as the podcast goes, I just feel like it was drawn out, very slow and a lot of unnecessary context. Also, of the thousands of free podcasts I’ve listened to, this hands down has the worst ads I’ve ever listened to.

    Unbearable
First episode felt like nothing but whining about the reservation system. Unbearable listen to. Especially if you’ve lived in literally any other low SES community and realize their experience is exactly the same and they aren’t as special as they think they are.

    Couldn’t finish
The last episode was terrible, one curse word after another. Unnecessary

    Good but….
It’s a good start, but is the whole of Nor Cal the “vanishing point?”. Kind of confusing as Covelo is nowhere near Hoopa and you could probably do a whole season on Khadijah’s story. Definitely important.

    Vanishing Point
As an artist I have to say your title is superb. Brilliant. And now for my first episode.

Please have someone proofread the scripts!!
The bad grammar in episode two was cringeworthy, but I kept listening because these are important stories.

There are many more in siskiyou county.
Thank you for this podcast. As someone who grew up on the klamath river(Happy Camp Ca) I appreciate the attention you are bringing to our MMIW. I am a karuk tribe descendent and I feel like you are at the peak of bringing more stories to light. Please look into The the missing women from Mount Shasta. Eugen Sharp is still missing out of happy camp and nothing is being done. We just had another murder in happy camp two months ago. There’s a lot of stories in siskiyou county that might peak your interest. Thank you for telling these women’s stories. Wish there were more people who looked into this like you did. Sending love.
  • GeoParks94
    Confusing
When the podcast begins it reads as a season long story regarding the first missing woman. Without any closure, we hop into multiple other missing persons. The audio quality is great and the host is well spoken. The background information about Hoopa Valley interesting. Started out strong but finished weak.

    Another gem from Tenderfoot
Great podcast. Heartbreaking stories. I hope these missing women and people get justice.

    very interesting
Good story telling. Grew up white watering on the Upper Klamath near Hoopa Land. It is good this is getting some attention.

    Needs to be fact checked
The host cites a debunked statistic that 94% of indigenous women who are sexual assault victims were assaulted by non-indigenous men. That study did not include any sexual assaults on reservations and has been thoroughly refuted. The vast majority of crime and violence experienced by Native Americans is perpetrated by Native Americans.

    Again, Amazing Storytelling
Tenderfoot nails it again. This is investigative journalism at its finest. These are all stories that need a bigger platform like this one to get it out I to the world. Anything with Tenderfoot’s name on it is worth listening to.

    Binge-worthy and IMPORTANT
I listened to the entire podcast today. It’s tragic what is happening on these spiritual beautiful lands. As with every MMIP story I’ve heard - it always goes back to lack of man power in the tribes policing and lack of help from the local jurisdictions police department. They must find a away to bridge that gap. The family members who contributed stories of their lost loved ones are so brave and deserve so much more. My heart goes out to all the families and MMIP. Thank you for telling this story fearlessly and with grace. Another GREAT podcast by TFTV. Listen and then tell someone else to listen. It’s important.

Critical theory propaganda ruins MMIP stories.
Half-baked leftist propaganda detracts from the important stories of these missing women—disservice and “journalistic” malpractice. For example, the sister and the mother expressed concerns regarding how the sister failed Emily. The podcast didn't look into or discuss why. It is self-evident, for anyone who cares not to confirm their existing bias, that Prop 47 and other radical “social justice” criminal justice reform is to blame! She let the leftist critical journalist at the start espouse wild conspiracy theories promoted at ivory tower echo chambers, but then didn’t look into basic government functions that have been perverted by the same ideology that reformed the system to create this Emily’s situation.

    finally
these stories need to be told, and told by great storytellers so that people listen, binge and share to get this kind of madness to stop happening to the great indigenous people of this country, already stripped of so much they have also been having their family members, mostly young daughters taken from them for centuries and no one’s doing anything about it. thank god the tenderfoot team is doing their part to shine more light on this nation wide travesty.

This thing’s going to be big
It’s a rare thing to listen to a 3 minute trailer for a new podcast and be certain that it’s going to be incredibly successful, but that’s exactly how I felt listening to the trailer for Vanishing Point. Celisia Stanton’s wonderful voice and incredible research skills combined with the folks at Up and Vanished promise to bring some incredibly important stories to life with care, intrigue and accuracy. I can’t wait to listen and get in on the ground floor of something that is going to be big.

If you are looking for compassion driven real crime, this podcast is for you.
