I have never missed an episode, I love this show! It would be amazing to hear one on Nicole and Paris, especially with them being back with their reunion and reflecting on their feud. It would be a fun and timely one!

Interesting to listen to, but some of the “hot” takes aren’t it. I disagree with a lot of the things they say, often. Sydney is alright, not a fan of Matt. His takes are… not good. It’s just something to listen to if I’m bored, honestly. The best part is the theme song 🤷🏼‍♀️

Was enjoying your podcast for weeks and Matt said he thought climate change was a hoax. Sorry to be so intolerant … but since Trump won the election I am very sensitive to such things and can no longer support your show.

The show comes off slightly inorganic. In the way they speak it as if they have written their script verbatim and reading it word by word without veering off script. At some points it sounded spliced like they were not even in the same room. They just need to loosen up and get a little more goofy chemistry.

I really liked this show until I started noticing political undertones creeping in… this last episode about Carol Baskin and Joe Exotic, on the heels of the election they kept bringing up Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in 2016. This is an entertainment podcast where listeners come for a lighthearted distraction, most importantly from politics. Disappointed that the hosts can’t focus on the topic and leave that out of it. I won’t be a listener anymore.

love the show but just fyi it’s been years since we had a recession. a recession is a thing that gets measured and is real and right now we don’t have one. you might be feeling the economy is rigged against you (me too). that’s different. really do love you both!

Fun gossipy show - the hosts have great chemistry and I’d love to hear them do a longer, less scripted show about culture where they could loosen up and chat and make each other laugh more. - a LOT of adverts to skip through but other than that, great stuff

I’m so glad I found this podcast! Between the hosts energy/commentary & the detail they go into is really interesting. If you’re like me & you follow TikTok drama way more than a normal person should you’ll like the show.

I thought this was a cool idea but they clearly pick a side before recording and stick to it. I thought the Royals episode was weird… Harry and Meghan step down from their duties/ job and still expect the English taxpayers to pay for private jets for them? And you guys were all upset that the royal family didn’t buy a wreath for Harry… dude can buy his own wreath! Just weird to hear you so defensive over these privileged entitled people.

I really enjoy the dynamic between the hosts.

The male host is extremely difficult to listen to, specifically in the Taylor Swift/ Kim Kardashian episode.

I liked this podcast. But you all definitely tell it with your bias showing. **Edit** It’s getting worse - shades of Regina King from Mean girls.

Have you two never been bullied? Maybe you were the bullies…Your Taylor ep was painful. That entire situation gives “you noticed my attitude, but not your actions that caused it”. The bully does not get to decide that the victim is being too dramatic or when they should get over it. While I’ve never experienced a bunch of people tweeting about my demise (you haven’t either), I know what it’s like for someone to spread lies about you and have people believe them, only for them to be disproven long after the damage is done. She can point out how they lied and she didn’t for the rest of her life. None of us get to say that she should just move on. Such a disappointing listen.

Used to LOVE this podcast until I started listening to episodes where I did have some background info and realized just how heavy they editorialize…. Was fun to get clued into pop culture moments I missed in a very isolated upbringing, but I’d much rather skip the personal/misogynistic/petty grievances and can’t rely on any of it now sadly

This is the show that should be getting better as time passes, but it actually feels like it’s getting worse. I really enjoyed some of the earlier podcasts, but lately the show is massively disappointing- especially with some really meaty events or dramas. A couple of these were events happening a bit before their time (so to speak), but their is so much bias in the way the approach the topic and in how they speak about some of the associated characters. The episodes become painful to listen to when they do this. Very disappointing.

I really wanted to like this podcast (some are great) and I listened to about a dozen before writing a review but I am tired of anyone who isn’t completely woke and far left being vilified by the hosts. Share the story. We get you are strong liberals. But alienating any listener who doesn’t align with your beliefs by treating us like fools made me unfollow. It’s divisive and frankly stupid from a business perspective. Do better guys.

They’re SO young that they don’t really have the context to form a proper opinion on the topics they’re covering. Too much zoomer energy!

I’ve finally figured out what I think is the problem: Your podcast promises more than it delivers. You have these great topics, like Patti Lupone vs. Andrew Lloyd Webber. Who doesn’t want to hear about that?! But then, your researchers do virtually no deep diving, and the writing of episodes is bad too. So your show comes off as dull and shallow, like someone’s using press releases and “People Magazine” as their only sources. It’s lazy and I never learn anything new or interesting. Hence, your writers and researchers are doing Matt, Sydney, and the listeners, a great disservice. I rarely listen to your podcast for this reason. Improve the research and writing, and your podcast could be a lot of fun.

Sydney’s teeth whistle with every S sound, which is like nails on a chalkboard, but not in her control. Matt’s near-constant phlem rattle though… it’s so unpleasant and off-putting to hear that underlying gurgle in his larynx with almost every word he says. Content is decent, yet contains inaccuracies (most recent one I noticed in today’s episode: saying Patti Lupone has “quit Broadway altogether”, when she is currently starring in a play on Broadway). Not a particularly riveting or comical podcast, but good easy listening to kill some time or provide background stimulation…. If you aren’t cursed with misophia, and can also get over the inaccuracies.

I listen to LOTS of podcasts. Have been since 2015. So I’m very critical of podcasts. I LOVE THIS ONE! Wish there was more! Only thing I wish was that they put maybe some more in the episodes. Example: some of the stories are ones I know some things about and find details missing which only makes me wonder what else is missing that I don’t know. But if my only complaint is that I want more, I’d say you guys are killing it!

I really enjoyed this pod when it first came out. The more recent rivalries didn’t hit the same. Not sure why but don’t enjoy like I did originally.

I would also like to invest in Sydney’s one woman show of Annie!!!!!!!!!

I like this podcast a lot. This call her daddy stuff is crazy though. I listened to one episode of this podcast in April and it was all about business and you could never tell what it used to be like. You blew my mind.

So much fun! The hosts have a lively vibe, listening is like eavesdropping on two friends dishing the dirt. The audio clips included bring each episode to life - love the research and delivery. I’ll be sad when I run out of previous episodes, and have to wait for new ones.

I’ve listened to this podcast since the inception and always found it very entertaining. I consider myself left leaning politically so it was also right down my alley. I noticed a shift that was subtle but not too alarming because hey, who wouldn’t think it was Scooter Braun’s fault to buy something that Taylor Swift’s own father put up for sale? A few misrepresented details here and there, no biggie. The episode of Jason Alden and Maren Morris was the tipping point for me. Mainly it was just an attack on Aldean’s wife (not a country fan and had to look up how to spell both people’s names for this review) which is whatever. One side can do no right and the other no wrong. Both ‘sides’ gave proceeds to charities, Maren Morris’s was praised, Jason Aldean’s wife’s charity in that all proceeds went to help to stop human trafficking, the female podcaster completely mocked it. Claimed she didn’t know what it was because of something said by the other party. You can disagree with anything but to make light of child trafficking is insidious. Plus all they use is buzz words so I wonder if they get tired of virtue signaling? Absolutely revolted and I hope they educate themselves about human trafficking and how it’s not fodder to be compared to ‘gender confusion’.

love this so so much! The stories are occasionally ones I’ve heard but these guys do it way better and more interesting and thorough. The only pet peeve is the frequency Sydney attributes conduct to someone’s astrological sign. We listen at my work in the OR and we have all noticed it has become a lot. Other than that it’s perfect!

Hello, i am someone who DOES NOT like banter or anything extra but with this show…. I enjoy the back and forth, one person is reporting and the other listens and adds some quick comments but they do not talk over each other. LOVE IT. Keep up the good work and i also ❤️ the song.

Please do more episodes on reality TV! Also Matt needs to give his hot takes more.
