JsmJsm8989❤️❤️❤️I love yall and I’m so glad you’re back! ❤️ PS your episode on sick kids was great! My family always judges me because I don’t run my children to the pediatrician for every little sniffle without fever. Thank you for telling me I’m not crazy!

EmoAngelofMoosicThe Parent Friends We All NeedI look forward to my weekly listen to my favorite Parent Friends! I follow a few different parenting podcasts because I'm A Parent And I'm Terrified Of Screwing My Kid Up, and Tori and Gwenna are the most relatable, wholesome, practical, fun parents that do podcasting. Thank you both for being you!

taimayrDose of sanityComing from TikTok, I’ve had a lot of catching up to do. I’ve spent the last couple months of mornings getting myself ready for the day while listening to this. The kids eat their breakfast, I try to do my hair, but i definitely press play on this. NORMALIZING THE WEIRDNESS OF PARENTING 🩷🦖

beereeeelllolsjdI love you!! But sound?First of all, I adore the two of you. The little slice of peace and laughter I get each week is amazing, thank you for existing 🫶 also, I know you only just started doing the pod on your own and there will be kinks, I’m just here to let you know the sound mixing needs help! You guys are so quiet😩 but when the ads pop up it’s SO loud because I have to turn it up so loud. Are better mics or sound mixing options available? Again, thank you, and I will listen no matter how quiet. Just thought I’d pass this along lol

BadwithfireFavoritesGwenna and Tori, you are some of my favorite humans. I am a first time mom and my mom raised me with the same parenting style as what’s now referred to as responsive parenting, I opted to continue that but honestly was a little lost how. The same way Gwennas husband couldn’t teach the littles to swim, my mom could not teach me to control my emotions all the way, despite her working in child welfare and studying physiology as well as child development. She gave me the tools but hearing you all say the same thing she has drilled into my brain helps it sink in. It makes me feel reassured I’m doing the right thing, and I’m not alone. Thank you both for all you do.

LLHOGUEHooray!!! They are back!So stoked to see a new episode in my queue this morning! We need you in these trying times. The horrors persist but so do yall!

EVPC!Best Parenting PodcastMiss y’all & can’t wait for the next season!

Smilemom411Great for all stages of parenting! My children didn’t have the benefit of the “gentle parenting” trend when they were little, but I did the best I could. They are now both in college and this podcast is relevant and helpful even now. Honestly, parenting the “kid-adults” can be even more challenging than when they were toddlers. I love this podcast and look forward to each new episode.

Kaylee A13I love this podcastI’m literally 21 with no kids (and dont plan on having them for a looooonnggg time), but I love this podcast. It just feels so healing to my younger self. It’s truly my comfort podcast and I appreciate you guys!

lisa_s_94Wait Your TurnPlease stop talking over each other. It is infuriating to listen to.

Kayla_ann96IYKYK 🐀✨🤭(The title is for the 12/04/2024 episode.) Not a mom but still love your podcast. Thank you for helping me become a better aunt with all of the advice and guidance. ❤️
-
LuckyKarmaHanging outI love this podcast series so far! It really makes me feel like we’re sitting down, talking about things and how it’s okay to make mistakes. I don’t have kids, but this podcast really does heal my inner child ❤️!!

MegsattacksI happen to like the cursing.Seriously, a little cursing with some parenting reality.
-
Reid’s mamaAmazingI have been listening to this podcast since the very first episode aired, and I absolutely love it. Before the podcast came out, I followed both Gwenna and Tori on TikTok, so when I found out about the podcast I knew I’d love it. Not only do they both make me feel seen with my parenting choices, but I also feel seen for my childhood trauma (specifically by Tori since it seems like we may have had similar experiences). They are both amazing humans who give really good advice, and I love listening to the podcast and laughing (sometimes crying) with you!

Luna246The Ads are a turn off. There was a point in time when I rated this podcast 5 stars. But the ads have become increasingly more a part of the content and not just a thank you to sponsors. It feels disingenuous. An entire plot line around splash refreshers is not needed and honestly doesn’t make me want to buy the product.
-
AshmedsAmazingI enjoy this podcast so much. I listen to the episodes when I go on my walk every morning. I was late to the game so I have a lot to catch up on! But I love these two. 🥰
-
Dee in NYLove this podcastI am so happy I listen to this podcast with earpods. My Google would be going crazy. Gwenna loves to trigger my devices. I love listening to this podcast as I learn to reparent myself. Thank you Gwenna and Tori
-
Jmw2231Love the nonjudgmental and welcoming approachLove that you guys share your stories and advice in such a nonjudgmental and welcoming way. Thank you!

Honest-ly annoyedThe ads on this show need to be fixed!I love Gwenna and Tori, but Betches needs to fix how they do podcast ads. Ads masquerading as content is annoying and disingenuous. I will never buy anything from Honest or Splash because of how annoying their ads have been. MAKE ADS A SEPARATE THING, DO NOT TRY TO INSERT THEM AS CONTENT.
-
Lk☀️I can’t listen to this podcast anymoreI really love the advice and wisdom that Gwenna and Tori share. Their anecdotes are so helpful and reassuring but the constant advertising is bonkers. Not only are their 2-3 minute ad breaks but a lot of the actual podcast content is SPONSORED. I was so relieved when they were done with splash refreshers ads but now it’s Honest and it’s worse because they’re sharing what sounds like actual advice but then they shoehorn in a product. It skeeves me out. I’m sure this comes as part of being with a specific content company and not wholly their idea, but I give up.

megsinniFoul languageGwenna needs to watch her potty mouth on YouTube and on her podcasts

simsaljarFavorite core memoryA few years ago I decided I would take my kids on vacation even if it was only a small one, which has turned into our yearly camping trip. The very first year I did this I rented the only cabin available within a Midwest driving distance, which happened to be at a little state park called Buck Creek State Park, Buck being close to butt, and buck creek being adjacent to butt crack, so the entire several hour drive, my kids were in the back seat giggling their little heads off about our cabin at the butt crack park.

L_A_MGreat Show But Volume IssuesI love this show but Tori in particular does a whisper thing when they’re speaking seriously, and it’s so difficult to hear. I eventually have to turn the volume up like 5 clicks, only for the volume to now be super loud because they’ve gone back to regular speaking volume. Please consider adjusting! I really want to hear the content.
-
WPAPmomthankfulTori and Gwenna make me feel seen as a parent. I just began listening to this podcast and I’m recommending it to everyone I know. I also had a traumatic childhood. Trying to parent better than I was has been a whirlwind. Thank you for the sense of support and validation you have given without even knowing it.
-
RizzySomppsA MUST !!!!Gwenna and Tori are, I am convinced, my Mom soulmates. The encouragement, the solidarity, the no shame game, is a refreshing take on parenting these tiny humans. Being a parent is hard enough without the fear of judgement from others constantly sitting like a gremlin in the shadows ready to attack. The real, vulnerable, humorous, inviting, and encouraging moments makes me feel like I am not alone in the trenches of being an elder millennial parent. And thank you both for the inclusive verbiage when discussing situations and potential outcomes. Pronouns and the fact that you mention that not all families look alike are a testament to the work that you both have done and continue to work on yourselves.
-
Serena KirtzI love Tori and GwennaI have been following Tori and Gwenna on various social medias for a few years and I just found their podcast 😭❤️ when I tell you I RAN!! They have honest and helpful advise on parenting, momming, and adulting!
-
jkuehn15AwesomeLove the spring break episode it was really entertaining. I was laughing out loud sooo much!!! The Storm convo was entertaining especially since I’ve lived in spring storm time and winter blizzard areas!!! And I would take that over the wild fire area I currently live.
-
LynnseyfayeRelatableTodays episode was awesome you two! Gwenna, I loved what you said about your eldests fashion spreads, I myself went from dark academia to ranch wear and I can relate so hard. 😂 as a southern Oklahoman myself, the tornado excerpt was hilarious and so true!
-
fifjtfhidLove this podcastI love to hear you guys talk! It means a lit that you are talking and sharing your advice with the world. You truly are the voice village everyone needs. 🫶😜😌
-
HavaNashiraMust Listen! As a parent of two young children, this podcast brings me joy, solidarity, validation, and new ideas each week. I love Tori and Gwenna, and I’m extremely excited to read Gwenna’s new book! Keep the amazing, down-to-earth, mindful stories and advice coming!
-
dblk11So relatableWhen Gwenna and Tori talk, I feel like I’m sitting there having a conversation with them. They are so relatable! Makes me feel like I’m not alone in my thoughts or practices. Thank you for being a real world example in true millennial fashion.
-
Jamie Tudor-LazaroSuper helpful!Love them both so much! Found them on TikTok before the podcast, became even more obsessed and now it’s what I listen to while cleaning the kitchen and it’s my favorite “me time” activity! Just ordered the Momma Cusses book and can’t wait to read it! Thank you both for getting us all through the trenches of motherhood
-

hanyson803🙌🏼👏🏼This weeks episode was just amazing. I cried when you told the story about the your old library. I just downloaded the audible version of the book. It’s roughly 6.5 hours of listen time. I just might finish it today. I’ll still get a physical copy of your book. Keep being yourselves ladies, I absolutely love you both and hope I get to be just a fraction of a person and parent as you. ❤️

GretaElshI WAIT EVERY WEEK FOR THIS PODCASTHi hi beautiful people! I am so so thankful for this amazing podcast. It brings me joy (I literally laugh), it inspires me to take care of/re-parent myself, and unashamedly highlights how being imperfect is part of being a human—and it’s OKAY. I am so thrilled, I was able to order Gwenna‘s book yesterday! It’s coming in the mail later this month, and I anxiously anticipate its delivery. To the lovely hosts, thank you for starting this podcast. Thank you for being honest. Thank you for sharing ways you are growing still and have grown in the past. Your vulnerability and authenticity in this space are so needed, and yours is the podcast I MOST look forward to coming out weekly. I always forget what day it posts so whenever I start to feel like “it’s been awhile since I heard their voices” I start daily refreshing my podcast app in excited anticipation. I am not a mom yet, but I have wanted to be as long as I can remember, and in recent years I have been scared that my difficulties with mental health would destroy that dream. Lately I’ve been more hopeful, and this podcast has been a major part of me realizing I don’t have to be perfect to be a mom. Breaking generational curses isn’t for the weak. This podcast is a RAY OF FRICKEN SUNSHINE in my week, every week, and I will loyally listen as long as episodes are going up. Sending love, health, wealth, and happiness to you both!!!
-
3604pfGreat listenFunny and useful. And really funny
-
Jo RylieNeeds less advertisingI absolutely love the show BUT there’s too many advertisements. I expect ads on Facebook and other platforms but I really liked the early episodes when there were less advertisements. I want to enjoy the podcast with 2 minutes of advertising max.
-
CW;pHighly enjoyableCouldn’t get enough of you two on Tiktok. I really enjoy your conversation style and relaxed format. Thanks for making parenthood feel accepting and relatable. (BTW my kid’s word I don’t want to let go of from the MLP days was horn-icorn. They also called Twilight Sparkle Toilet Farkle 😹)
-
Justyne921Realistic parenting viewI love that you both have different viewpoints and different backgrounds. The parenting style is realistic and I love that. I wish my parents had used this type of parenting.
-
Broadway + Anime = AwesomeJust a Chill PodcastI’m not a parent and don’t plan to be, but I follow their TikToks and enjoy the funny anecdotes. It’s also nice to learn better coping skills and how to regulate your emotions without suppressing them, which is something I’m learning from this podcast.
-
Don't Wait... Just buy it!Not a podcast personI’m not a podcast person but I going to become one after listening to these two amazing parents. Loved every episode.
-
AJ$2000Thank you LadiesI have a son that I have had a hard time getting on the same page with over the last few months but since I have found your podcast we’ve been so much closer and happier thank you
-
💀😊😭🥳🌚I love y’all so muchY’all popped up individually on my fyp and I slowly got into it, and now I’m totally obsessed
-
Snowflakelove313Seriously loveI came across Tori on TikTok and then found out about your podcast. I never have listened to podcast before….I love your show! You both are awesome and thank you for being you!
-
SwimmyswimswimI’m not even a parent and I still love themI’m not a parent, I’m not planning to be a parent anytime within the next ten years, but I still find their banter and advice on stuff like communication and self-regulation to be invaluable. These two have such fantastic chemistry as cohosts and their conversations are always a joy to tune into. I know some folks are complaining about the ads but honestly, the ad frequency is on par with similar podcasts I listen to. We live in a capitalist hellscape and ads are just part of the podcast experience. The Childproof ad reads are not that bad, nor are they so distracting that my ADHD brain can’t keep track of what’s going on.
-
funny vidsThe perfect melding of different outlooksI quite literally wait all week for this podcast! I love that you both bring different points of view but meld them so well. I love hearing discussion of the differences without making either of you feel ‘wrong’. *teenie tiny Elsa hit me right in the feels🥺*
-
kysaysstuffThank you bothThis show turned me into the “I was listening to this G R E A T podcast the other day” kinda guy and I don’t care what people say about it. Personal anecdote: I was at my wits end, didn’t know where to turn with parenting, and like most first generation cycle breakers, had no one to turn too. Que (queue? Q? Idk, you get it) me remembering Tori and Gwenna had a podcast. It felt like finally having the community and help I desperately, DESPERATELY needed to orient myself and start making meaningful changes in how I was raising my kids. Thank you both for putting this out there, you two have felt like a comforting friend I can turn too when I feel like pulling my hair out.
-
Addie_ ParryLove thisI haven’t followed them at all butt they each piped up on my fyp individually and loved both of themI highly recommend this
