I was happy to see that there was a new Katy podcast this morning. Welcome back. 😊

I first started watching/listening to Katy back at her old venture with Matt & Tom. I was bummed when they parted ways and started doing their own respective things, but so happy Katy had found her own audience! Her great personality shines through her and you get a real sense of the journalist behind the content. Keep up the great work Katy and best of luck in the future! Keep being you :)

This is a delightful podcast so far, whether you listened to WTF1 or not, if you like racing, you’ll like this podcast. Katy’s voice is one of the most pleasant on all the podcasts I routinely follow, the show itself has a cozy feel that works for commuting, afternoon walks, and morning coffee/teatime.

It’s got a retro, groovy vibe to it. Katy is definitely a good listen and enjoy her takes on not just F1, but other things she’s passionate about too!

It’s like listening to your crush talk about her favorite thing that’s also your favorite thing. Love the format and the topics!

Katy, you really shine doing this podcast on your own!

I was so pleased to find this podcast. I’ve been following Katy for a bit now, and always appreciate her take on the world of F1. She keeps it real and her opinions are quite refreshing. Whether you stay freelance or join the boys over at P1, I remain a fan! Keep up the amazing stuff, Katy!

I really enjoy listening to this pod. As a newer fan, I’m still learning about the sport and Katy’s explanations of the rules and regs are very helpful. It’s nice to have a F1 pod in my feed that takes more of a deep dive in contrast to the reaction pods. Her tone is calm and always easy to listen to even while her passion for the sport comes through.

So incredibly grab to have Katy back in my ears discussing Motorsport. Love hearing her thoughts and giddy I won’t miss out on future rants. So much potential for this podcast to evolve, and very glad to be along for the journey. (I will admit, I very much couldn’t quite figure out the podcast name in my dumb American accent, but once I heard Katy pronounce it I audibly gasped with appreciation.)

I am loving the Small Torque podcast. Katy’s warm personality shines through, as does her passion for Motorsport and knowledge of its rules and history. She’s the real deal, and a pleasure to listen to over a cuppa.

Every podcast is missing what you bring to the table. You explain the rules in a clear and concise matter, you bring clear examples and you actually remember the small details between races and moments that so many other podcasts just brush over but are actually super important. You bring in a such logical (but not patronizing) outlook to everyone’s drives over the weekend as well as the outlook on the rules. I can’t wait to listen to more and I hope you can make them as smidge longer for your hardcore fans! Wishing you the best Katie and hope we can get some more rulebook rants because you genuinely always have reasonings and provide really good alternatives to current rules.

I’m really glad you’er back in my ears! When Matt and Tommy disappeared for a month, Katy went away also. Matt and Tommy came back, but there was something missing, a balance, a sensibility, a Katy Fairman. I wanted you to be on the P1 cast but I think I’m much happier with you as you on your own. Please keep up the chat. Don’t be afraid to do a rules dive or an ethereal description of your day at the races.

I’ve been consuming Katy’s content for a couple years now but this podcast really stands out. Not only from her own work but also from other podcasts. It really is a breath of fresh air compared to most Motorsport content. Do yourself a favor and give it a listen!
