Timeless with Julie Hartman

As an open-minded, 24-year-old graduate of Harvard, Julie became a conservative after discovering Dennis Prager's radio show. After reaching out to Dennis to express her appreciation for his work, a friendship was born that became a mentorship. Dennis then invited her as a guest on his radio show. The following summer, Julie appeared as a weekly on-air contributor to his nationally syndicated radio program. At the age of 21, Julie guest-hosted three-hour broadcasts for both The Dennis Prager Show and The Mike Gallagher Show, becoming the youngest person to solo substitute host on a national program. On "Timeless", Julie explores her views on life, politics, and current events.

What did I just listen to?!?
Was drawn in by an episode on Charlotte Brontë and in less than 5 minutes there was transphobia and whining about the “woke” agenda.

    Rabbi Mannis interview was fantastic.
I have never heard the story of Adam and Eve told the way and from the perspective that he explained. This was eye opening for me and explains a lot. Really enjoyed the discussion and look forward to more from the Rabbi.

    Discussion w/ Rabbi Manis Friedman
Amazing conversation. I’ve tried to listen to him on YouTube but couldn’t get into it. Julie, your questions are so pointed and you led the Rabbi to some really interesting insights that were easily digestible to the Bible novice. I think the two of you should pair up and create another podcast. Keep up the great work!

    I blocked you
I like you Dennis but Julie is not for me. She just said “I swear to God”. I will Never listen to your podcast again! I’m so disappointed in you Dennis for allowing her swearing.

What a gross, hateful ugly lady. 🤢 Please keep your biases out of your ‘reporting’.

    Courageous
Julie’s latest episode RE: IDF Hostage rescue is the most honest and bold take, I have heard on the topic thus far.. in my opinion. Been a weekly subscriber since day one and look forward to going through the the happenings of our world with her keen sensibility and courageous insight for years to come!

    Enjoyable commentary
It’s a nice change from shows that tell you what you should think about the topics discussed.

    Yikes
Toady lickspittle nonsense. Please avoid unless you want to hear whining and US Republican drivel

    Love listening to her
Dennis introduced you to the world and I love listening to your opinions on many different issues. You give me hope for our future generations that at a such young age you share views with such wisdom and you are always willing to admit when you are wrong on thoughts. You have moved to the top of my list on podcasts. Please, never change how you digest the news and give your opinions.

Thanks so much for the discussion with Spencer Klaven on the Communist Manifesto. I’ve read it several times since I found it so hard to understand but on each reading knew it was problematic. I recall from HS that Pope Leo XIII encyclical Rerum Novarum was the counterpoint to the Manifesto - that might make an interesting conversation between you and Spencer.

    OG Fan
I’ve been a Julie fan since the beginnings of Dennis & Julie. I always learn something new in every episode. I also love how she allows herself to be wrong and/or have her ideas be challenged. Truly unique for her generation and for someone her age.

“I love to learn.” This a Julie quote. I love to learn too but love that Julie makes it easier to get started. She also has an incredibly broad number of topics. I have to remind myself how young she is because she is so knowledgeable. She also has humility and a great sense of humor. Give it a try!

    Breath of Fresh Air
Incredible insight with respect to current affairs! It’s great to hear this from a recent university graduate which, unfortunately, is uncommon.

    Good Podcast
Sorry to hear about your encounter with the homeless man. Glad you and no one else in the store was hurt. You’re probably not allowed to carry a gun in California. Have you considered self-defense classes? My daughter is taking Krav Maga and kickboxing classes. I think the classes are helping her. Think about it.

    Irrelevant right wing grifter
Was willing to put up with Julie for a while until she recently made a joke about Jan 6. Have to pander to the far right to not lose all her handful of listeners. These grifters are all the same - they tell you uneducated fools to not go to college.. but see they don’t follow their advice! She doesn’t take any hard stances on any critical issue since she knows deep down she’s not a right wing nut.

Great podcast about news and life
A great show from an even greater host. The news bit is concise and clear and the 2nd half is more life-related discussions which are filled with wisdom and keen insight. Julie is a phenom!

    Excited for Julie
So glad to finally get this show, and it does not disappoint. Best of luck to Julie and her original mind. Hoping for greater things to come.

    Original ideas
I would like to suggest there are no original ideas. They may come in different wrapping paper but the idea is originated from human nature. I would also like to mention, if you critique your are claiming solutions were wrong. I have a daughter who talks about “trauma children” as if this is a new phenomenon. When I asked what this was she said children in homes with abuse, drugs, alcoholism, etc. when I asked her if she thought these children did not exist when I was growing up??? Of course they did, the difference was these children were not pandered to. They arguably worked harder to overcome their circumstances, but they were given in return an education and a way to “get out” of their circumstances. It breaks my heart that children today are handicapped in their learning. We are getting to a place there is no escape from circumstances. Just a thought. Love your podcast

    Refreshing and interesting
Thank you Julie. I appreciate Dennis Prager finding you. At 59, I am seeing an accelerated melt down of our American culture and for someone your age to see through the ongoing farce is remarkable. Mostly your researched topics are presented from your experience and your are interested so I am subscribing. Keep up the great work!

    Hope for the future
I’m 72. My forebears made it into their upper 80’s and great grandpa to 108. I am not ready to be consigned to death by rocking chair. I am active and engaged. I am so very happy to hear Julie’s Podcast. The idea that roles define us far better and with more personal responsibility than identity politics ever could is powerful. Truth is making a comeback. Woke globalists stand down. America is not open to tyranny.

    Refreshing
I’ve been a long time listener of Dennis and Julie and so glad you came out with your own podcast! I can’t agree with you more about public education. I’ve never heard that take on it before and you’re exactly right. Interesting how one can be educated but not wise at all. Thank you for your voice and grateful to know young people like you are out there!

Exactly what the younger generation needs!
I have been waiting for Julie’s podcast, and the first episode is everything I hoped it would be! I love her show with Dennis Prager, and to have an all Julie podcast is such a gift! Her thoughts and commentary are so profound, and helps younger conservatives (especially women) feel not so alone. I’m so excited to see how this podcast grows, and I really hope she writes a book one day (hint, hint😉)
