These gals are pretty awesome, what a great team. So glad to have found them. What depth and insight. They have really great guests as well with deep insight and that are lucky enough in some cases to have experienced production. Causing me too love a show I already very much love and adore even more.

I just found this podcast and absolutely love it!! I’m a podcast junkie and this one is really excellent! I haven’t read the Interview with the Vampire novels, and as the show is very layered- I love hearing the recaps and your insight! Keep up the great work. Glad you are keeping this going in his honor. I will keep listening. I thought the Lost Boys thing was more French New Wave like the movie Breathless. It had more of that feel to me. The vampires on the large statue reminds me of Wings of Desire. The audio was all over the place…quiet than ear piercingly loud. :/ I was constantly adjusting it or if you are excited, step back from the mic a bit,

I love to listen in on what these guys have to say about every episode. All of their between-season episodes maintain that momentum and remain very entertaining and informative. They know their stuff, and like to dive deep into themes, Easter eggs, and the greater universe. The hosts each contribute a lot and usually each have their different takes which keep things interesting. Keep it up!

This podcast does right by the show - they explore in DETAIL the nuances of this show. History, backgrounds, of both the books and the US is explored. Hosts have interesting discussions. This show is so meaty, dying for dissection, and these hosts dig in with the gusto of Lestat stalking those youths who were necking in the woods.

I’m enjoying the podcast. Great reviews. My only flaw is the guy constantly interrupting the others while they are speaking. I routinely find myself going “Shut up! Let them finish a thought.” lol

I have really enjoyed the Vampire Insider group! I have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with vamps so I was so excited for IWTV. I ended up really enjoying the series so I've listened to most podcasts I could find covering the series and most reaction videos on You Tube. Vampire Insider has been my favorite pod group reacting to the Immortal Universe so far. They are hilarious and engaging. They bring a lot of thoughtful insight without taking things too seriously. I also appreciate that they appear to give honest opinions when they felt something from the shows didn't work. I am also enjoying the Mayfair Witches to some degree but have to admit I have a hard time following what is going in at times. I find I have a better appreciation and understanding for the episodes after listening to Vampire Insider's take and they often have been able to provide some useful historical information pertinent to the show or some book references that put things into a better perspective. All while managing to keep me cracking up! I actually think Mayfair Witches needs to hire these guys to do their "post episode discussions". If you are a fan of the Immortal Universe, make sure you tune in for this podcast, you won't be disappointed!

Listen to the Vampire Insider podcast. Excellent breakdowns and discussions on each of the episodes. Lots of good discussions on character development and the nuances of each character. They really go into the the underlying subtext of each episode and point out lots Easter eggs and theories in the episode. If you are struggling with the changes they really help clear up some of the conflicting feelings on how the characters were written and how they are being portrayed on screen. I love the deep dives and listen to every hosts perspective! It’s obvious to anyone who listens that the hosts put a lot of thought and research into every episode. I could listen to them discuss the nuances for hours. Great job!

I enjoyed parts of this podcast. The hosts certainly have great senses of humor, but overall they’re a bit too attached to the book version of the story for me to get through a single episode without rolling my eyes at all the times it’s noted that they didn’t like a thing because it’s different than what happened in the books or film. I think noting that a decision may not be as effective because it takes away from characterization or plot but simply saying this isn’t that is like the lowest form of critique, if you can even call it that. I’ll probably dip in and out for now.

Props to the hosts for taking the time and energy to make this a funny and enjoyable show! I feel like I’m in the room with them, laughing along, having a great time. Don’t stop what you’re doing!!

I followed this podcast team from their hugely successful podcast GenXtemperanous. This is a podcast where as you listen you feel you are part of the conversation. I frequently find myself wanting to join the conversation, but alas I realize I don't have friends (that aren't imaginary) this cool. If you want to have a laugh and talk vampire stuff I'm sure there are better podcasts, but since I'm Marc's brother and if I didn't say something nice our late and beloved mother would haunt me. So give them a shot.

this pod has a little bit of everything and all of it is great. the hosts are intelligent and have interesting conversations about the episodes. it is well researched (the older episodes are really interesting too). best of all they have great chemistry and make me laugh. other podcasts have been informative but these guys make it fun to listen. you can tell they love the subject and the show!! cant wait for more. immediate follow.

Love anything vampires and love how this podcast dissects them through the new AMC show. Even though the show ends, I can get another hit by reveling in it through this insightful podcast. Very cool!

NOLA native and I’ve known of Anne Rice for as long as I can remember. I started reading her books when I was 15. These hosts sound like people that don’t know much about Anne Rice, her novels, and meanings behind her writings. The TV show is a farce, a joke. These hosts only regurgitate the storyline, but to think this show is “amazing” or anything close to what it should be is laughable.
