I wish I had the disposable income to be part of buy me a pickle because I could and have listened when I first discovered this podcast hours of my days. I just want to be your friend now. Thank you so much.

CiramcmanusBetter than RoCk MuSiC!Whitney and Tim’s banter is hilarious. You can tell that they enjoy creating this podcast. I cannot stress enough how well researched and presented Whitney’s digs are! She has a real talent for presenting info and may need to add journalist to her resume! I look forward to the pod each week!

robegg01The snark I needI’ve been binge listening for a couple weeks and I’m really enjoying it. Up to episode 28 already.
-
SopeerocksMore F bombs pleaseI just heard about this pod a few weeks ago and naturally had to start from the beginning! I’m halfway in and loving it. It’s a great easy listen if you like to be listening to something while busy with chores, work, etc. Highly appreciate the cat content and of course the actual main content of the pod. Recaps and digs and all, it’s incredibly interesting to learn about the many facets of what got this family to where they are and about the many tentacles of this religious “octopus” if you will. Please keep the F bombs coming. It’s 2024 and if you’re bothered by language you should probably figure that out.

hdushxhshdbcDigging on Digging UpThis is a great podcast. All three of them have endearing personalities. Yes, three. Mildred obviously counts as part of it. Whitney and Tim are very likable and fun to listen to. I appreciate the incredible amount of research Whitney puts into the weekly topics that come after talking about the show. I had no idea I’d like this podcast so much. The Duggar shows were a hate-watch for me, so I don’t even know why I searched for Duggar podcasts. Whatever came over me, I’m glad it did. Listen to this podcast! Ok shush I know my review title is lame, but whatever. I like it and I really am digging this show
-
This Tired GalPlease considerI love the Duggar recaps. The deep dives are well researched and on point. I just wish there were fewer F bombs. An occasional F is warranted but this many distracts from an otherwise excellent podcast.
-
againstthem@nHalfway Caught Up And Love It!I wrote a review previously but just had to update. These two power through so much, thoroughly researched, content all while developing excellent quality all the way around right before our very ears. It’s been amazing to see how far they have come so quickly, and I am so in love with their dynamic. Very vulnerable, funny, and silly. Love it. Keep up the good work you two!
-
Aligatorbaba❤️❤️❤️❤️I like it. However, the deep dives can be so boring to me. I wish the recaps were longer. They are funny. I love the Mildred minute. I love a lot. Just the deep dive can go on for hours.

MMR1998_Can’t believe it took me this longAs a fundie snarker of many years, I can’t believe how long it took me to find this absolute gem. Aside from hilarious, entertaining content, I really love Whitney and Tim together. I suffer from chronic and debilitating ocd and depression. Sometimes I feel so alone in the world I can hardly stand it. This podcast is always a comfort to me during my harder days, and for that I am so grateful. Call it a parasocial interaction, but I truly feel less alone when I’m listening, so thanks.
-
Journey717❤️❤️❤️Thank you so much for all of your hard work. I can tell how much time and effort you put into this podcast and I love listening to you two. I recommend this whenever I get a chance!
-
Collind1123Thank youI feel so much better listening to these folks. It has helped me laugh and heal from my religious trauma.
-
kikilc83Love this pod!Just discovered this and have been listening to nothing else for days! Whitney’s “Michelle voice” is impeccable!
-
Streetwise Old LadyHere for the descriptions!I never watched the Duggars so I utterly enjoy the descriptions of the scenes - from the dirty feet of the kids, Lego hair, and spilling Jones soda into the mouth of a sleeping toddler. 😳 I appreciate the deep dives. Thank you!
-
H from ALI’ve fallen into sin after this episode - in need of supportI too have been afflicted by the yacht rock epidemic all thanks to you Tim… what is this evil? I had never heard of Michael McDonald and promptly looked him up mid-pod. It is deliciously smooth music I was bobbing my head along and sure enough missed my turn for the eye doctor. I was shocked! It must be my erroneous music choices and could not in any way be related to my need for new glasses. Nay nay. How will my mom react when I call to confess? Any tips? What’s next? Jimmy Buffet? I don’t know how I will atone for this Love yall and your music recs! Yall are my favorite part of Thursday. Be sure to protect Mildred’s innocent ears from this devil music ;)
-
Brendito69Coming togetherI have been making fun of the Duggars and their religious beliefs for years. I love Whitney and Tim’s sarcasm, disgust for religious hypocrisy, and pop culture references. Just goes to show you that we all have our common grounds despite our political differences and beliefs. I am absolutely sure that we are on opposite sides of the aisle on some political beliefs but support them on this podcast. Live on The Rock Music.

akjx12Expand Your vocabularyThe podcast is interesting, but I cannot listen to it with the constant f bombs. I am by no means anti-cursing, but the excessive use the F word every other sentence, seriously annoying, and it loses all meaning. feels very much like a middle schooler home alone on the phone trying to sound cool.
-
hatenewbankLove Whitney and TimA friend recommended this podcast. I definitely enjoy. Whitney puts a lot of hard work into her digs. Live Tims calming voice and POV. Very entertaining!
-
Maria617Enjoying this podcastA friend recently told me about this podcast so I am not very far in. I enjoy the back and forth, the content and both your genuineness. Also just wanted to say I am currently on episode 17 and at the end Tim talks about how awkward it is to be sung to at a birthday. I was dying because I just had my 40th and this was exactly me, the awkwardness, the idk where to look so just stare at the cake, the golf clap at the end 🤣
-
Disorganized idealistHooked!Just found this podcast last week and I have been bingeing ever since. I love the snark, love the imitations, love the tangents, love the pop culture references, all of it. I really appreciate the deep dives and I gotta confess I usually end up tearing with Whitney because of religious trauma. Thank y’all!! 💜
-
Danielle K8Great hosts & researchI’m not even that interested in the Duggars but I’m single and I love to listen to Whitney and Tim and pretend I’m in a healthy relationship lol. I am 45 episodes in. The podcast is also really well researched and interesting to learn about IBLP and fundamentalism as it’s very foreign to me, especially as Whitney is deconstructing her past religious experience.
-
ca.raygunMoment it drops listenThis is one of the most extensively researched podcasts I’ve ever listened to, and I love the hosts.
-
LauraBush420Good times 👊I really appreciate this show. I too cry over every emotion bc of my own childhood trauma. And I too have a supportive spouse who was molded by Catholic guilt. 👍 But dissociating into this podcast is usually a good time so I can kind of forget the horrors of being a parent. Keep on truckin’

..........,...,.,,,,..,,More crying?Get therapy
-
Maria ChirstinaInteresting Take on Fundamentalist ReligionGreat couple. They complement each other well. Recapping Duggar show and laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. Best part is the researched back story on some of these famous Christians authors, tv personalities, and others mentioned on the show.
-
Ktcnm59Congratulations on 2 yearsThis podcast is one of my absolute favorites. I look forward to listening every week. I love the informal banter between Whitney and Tim, the rehash of the Duggar episodes, and the bingo cards. I especially enjoy the Digs that Whitney does in every episode. Keep up the good work! And of course a shoutout to the world’s best purr-ducer, Mildred.
-
rhfan2020!Love the podWhitney does a tremendous amount of work on this podcast. It’s informative and entertaining at the same time. She and Tim and endearing. I appreciate their banter and sharing of their lives. Keep up the great work! I’ve been binging this the past month and so happy I found your podcast!
-
jewell8605Tater tot casserole could never live up to you two.I just found the pod today and I’ve already listened to the first 12 episodes. I love the chemistry between you two. Whitney hits the research out the park. I can’t wait to hear more.
-
SmtuellAwesome!I just found this podcast. I love it. Very entertaining! Lego hair. lol
-
cekepMichelle’s VOICEI recently found the show & have been binge listening since. I remember watching the TV show when it aired & omg, Whitney mimicking Michelle is like a freaking time machine!!!!! I can picture it!!!!! Stop being so good at it!!!! Just kidding, please never stop, it is too good. Thank you for this show.
-
whaletail2009Deep digsGreat show!!! Catching up to the present from show 1, up to episode 53. Your research is awesome for the digs. Have you thought of publishing them? Thank you for the escape from reality. Love Mildred!
-
Vienta6188Love this show so much!!I’ve been listening for a few months now, and it’s so great! The snark is balanced really nicely with in depth research on a whole range of related topics (about IBLP, other fundies, etc.) I also like when the hosts, Whitney and Tim, share about their own lives (and Mildred, their cat!). It feels like I’m fundie snarking with friends!
-
Mermaid61Truly laugh-out-loud hilarious.I’ve never written a podcast review before, but yours has been so much fun to listen to, I felt like I had to write. A recent episode made me belly laugh all alone, except for my two cats who gave me the stinkeye for disturbing their naps. Thanks so much for your entertaining snark on the Dug bunch. They are so incredibly snarkable, I can’t help but watch the continuous train wreck. And being a cat person, I love the Mildred moments!😻I’m about halfway through the episodes and I don’t want them to end. And PTL that Sexpest is in prison now. I wish Anna would release herself from her prison of a marriage to that pig and the family that supports him. Keep going!!
-
Jessica DillingOne of the best! This podcast is engagingly hosted, thoughtfully researched, and laugh-out-loud hysterical, all while Tim and Whitney demonstrate care and depth when snarking! I love it!
-
Wildcat3514I can’t anymoreI really used to like this pod but it’s becoming less and less about the Duggars and more and more meandering personal stories. Maybe do a separate podcast for the tangents and leave this one for those interested in the Duggars and not a commercial you saw when you were 9 or whatever other dumb thing gets discussed for 20 minutes for no reason. I also feel like Whitney has run out of deep dive topics so they’re becoming less and less relevant, I almost never listen to them anymore. I haven’t been able to make it through an entire episode in months. If this pod was better edited and about 25% of the current length it could be great.
-
VeroCasaHombreLike…..but.I really enjoy this podcast and the delivery. However, I can’t with the pop culture references. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a pop culture connection, but there are multiple kinds in each episode. Like, we get it, Tim, you know pop culture. It’s too much! Too much explanation of the reference just to make the connection that “reminds” you of it. The meats of the podcast is great!
-
snarathesnailI ❤️ SidetrackingThis is my favorite podcast! Since I caught up to the current releases a couple months ago, I am always eagerly waiting for Thursday to come around! Whitney and Tim are incredible hosts and pour so much time and care into these episodes. I was so excited to find a podcast about my niche interest and even more thrilled to find how well done and well researched it is. I noticed some reviews that critiqued the sidetrack conversations in the show, but that is for sure my favorite part. The hosts are incredibly real, hilarious, and make sure they use their platform to spread some positivity while informing us at the same time. Thanks Whitney and Tim!
-
ShaesisNew ListenerThank you for such a good podcast. I have been listening to catch up to present since December. I am enjoying your fundie content and learning more about this family’s lifestyle.
-
Katie vwWe need more Whitney’s in the worldAfter listening to the January 11, 2024, show, my thought was, “We need more Whitney’s in the world.” Throughout these episodes, she shows immense sympathy and empathy. She is a sensitive soul, especially when it comes to those that are vulnerable. What would the world look like if we all led with those feelings? A kinder and gentler place.
-
acraw421One of the Best!I have been binging this podcast since I discovered it. It is exactly what I have been looking for in regards to the taking a deep dive into the mess that is the Duggar Family. I love the relationship between Tim and Whitney. I appreciate the thorough summary of the episodes and the research put into the deep dive section.
-
Desiree DillonNeeds some editingThe topic is interesting and i really want to listen. But i just cant get over the long meandering unrelated stories and the way the host is always repeating herself and IMO over explaining herself. She could get her point across with 60% less words.
-
MorganReneeSidetracks far too oftenThe deep dives are very well researched and interesting. The personal stories, and the way that they interrupt the flow of the podcast, has gotten to the point where it is nearly unlistenable for me. I really want to listen, but it’s sidetracked so often that I don’t think I can stomach it anymore.
-
CRAZY LOVErMostly FluffI want this to be consumable so badly, but it no longer is. Too much about their cat and their long meandering personal stories. It gives the feeling of when someone is telling you about a dream they had. I agree with a previous reviewer, it’s millennial cringe.
-
Krista570My favorite podcast! The Duggars have always fascinated me and Tim & Whitney are a delight and you can tell so much work is put into researching the topics. Unlike a few of the negative reviews, I enjoy the side tangents and personal stories, they seem like genuinely nice people and I look forward to listening every week!
-
OmNoma Zombie QueenOur Friends, Whitney and TimMy #1 Podcast! These two bring so much heart to the Podcast. They feel like friends, and Whitney has a galaxy brain when it comes to deep dives. Highly recommend- exceptional content, even more exceptional people. 10/10
-
Gorelai KillmoreSuch a fun approach!I came across this pod (I wish I had sooner!) and am catching up now, I just finished season 1 and I love it so much. Sure the audio wasn’t perfect at first but it’s far from the worst I’ve heard, y’all figured it out pretty quickly, and the content more than makes up for it! I love the mix of TV recap and true crime deep diving here, it’s a brilliant podcast format. You two have great voices and I’ve really been relating to the personal moments as well, I will be a little sad when I’m all caught up but I can’t wait to keep binge listening until then
-
jennifermcelFunny !I just watched,” A Muppet Christmas Carol,” and thought of you two.
-
hdupdycll be durihoWhitney and Tim are awesomeI listen to this podcast religiously (pun intended). I always look forward to it. independent of the topic (which I’m super interested in), I just love Whitney and Tim! They are so entertaining and also provide such smart thoughtful analysis. I will be very curious to see what topic/show they will tackle after they run out of Duggar episodes. I’m there for it, whatever it is. Thanks, yall!
-
Former User!!!Mehhh …The Duggar deep dives are good. That’s why I’m here. The extra stuff is … extra. I don’t care. The prolific use of the F word shows a lack of intelligence. I listen to tons of podcasts. I could not care any less about an occasional use of a curse word, but when it’s all of your conversation, grow up, expand your vocabulary. I fast forward through a lot to get to the actual content. Not sure it’s worth the trouble.

Abcdzqrtyhgj16789235I can’t with the fat shamingI really want to like this podcast - I love an obsessive deep dive into a weird pop culture phenomenon. I’m 11 episodes in (starting from the beginning) and as others mention, the audio and editing is poor. I’m hoping that improves as time goes on and honestly, I've listened to plenty of horribly edited podcasts because the content is good and I can forgive that pretty easily. But what is with all the fat shaming of Josh?! I get it, he’s a gross and bad person, but his weight and hair loss have nothing to do with that. It’s cruel and cheap to attack parts of someone’s appearance they have zero control over, and it’s completely unnecessary. Josh has plenty of disgusting habits and beliefs to attack, leave making fun of his hair loss and weight out of it! Not sure if I’ll make it all the way through this one if the mean girl thing continues being so prevalent in episodes.
