    Awesome!
Just the podcast I was looking for. I started listening to their Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac episodes and I am hooked. I see many other books they’ve done episodes on that I’ll be interested in after I finish the Zodiac Academy universe. The episodes fly by and I enjoy what these ladies have to say!

    Great job, ladies!
I just recently found you through a Twisted Sisters Facebook page. You’re hilarious and fun and dirty!!!! I am loving your take on Ruthless Boys and can’t wait to do your Zodiac Academy ones. I only heard 3 episodes, before I ran over here to make this review. Might even listen to the rest of your episodes after I make it through these!! I am also loving the little Harry Potter references that you have made so far in the little bit I have listened.

Loveee this show! Love you guys’ perspectives and personalities and how well you mesh together! **P.s. Alis in ACOTAR IS in fact a tree bark person much like groot according to the ACOTAR coloring book Sarah J Maas approved at Barnes and Noble! Fun fact lol

    Spoilers
I started listening to the Crescent City book 1 part 1 episode but had to stop because of all the spoilers thrown in without warning. If we’re going by the episode description, the podcasters define part 1 as “BDD”, which would put us about 75 pages in. I’m well past that on chapter 65 and they still managed to very casually spoil huge plot points that I haven’t gotten to yet. If the part your covering isn’t actually part 1 by your definition (BDD) or the literal part 1 of the book, fine, but at least warn the audience before you describe a gut-wrenching scene at the end of the book. Also, the pronunciations of character names could really improve.

    Can’t Stop Laughing
I didn’t read romantasy before listening to these ladies, but they’ve convinced me!
  • Alex10402
    Light-hearted
I’m sure there’s other podcasts out there for intellectual deep-dives on smutty faery books, but that’s not what I wanted. These gals crack me up and that’s what I need to disassociate from my crazy life, and I feel like we’re friends.

    Hilarious
The hosts have been getting dinged for mispronunciations, but those of us who aren’t die-hard author fans say it the way they do. I listen because they’re funny. And you should to!
  • Need to start reading reviews
    Pronounce the names correctly
SJM does plenty of interviews and gives us pronunciations. Use them!!!

    Constructive Criticism
There are a lot of things I like about this podcast. You cover such a wide range or books including super popular fantasy to much more niche kindle unlimited series and I really enjoy that. As a regular listener there are some items of feedback I, and based off of your reviews, others would appreciate. Please do more pre-work before doing your show. I understand fantasy is hard because we are working with insanely long made up names, but at least listen to an audio book version or something before podcasting. Even having read the books, it gets really confusing when listening because you say so many names incorrectly or change them to “nicknames” but then don’t stay consistent. One thing can be called 4 different names throughout an episode and it’s very frustrating as a listener. With that there are also so many inconsistencies with your information. At least once an episode someone says an incorrect plot point that literally didn’t happen. It makes me and other listeners second guess our reading and causes a lot of confusion. Also if someone is listening to the podcast having not read the book, then misinformation is being shared. Another thing to enhance the listening experience is to actually have an outline and stick to it. The pods are so unorganized and hard to follow even if you have read the book because you jump around so much and go off on irrelevant tangents. It’s also really frustrating when you guys have read several books in the series already and bring up things from different books, that the listener might not have read yet, without any spoiler warnings. I will continue to listen and enjoy your podcast but please take this constructive criticism and use it to improve for your listeners!!

    Highly Entertaining
I can’t stop laughing while listening to these ladies. Definitely makes my commute better.

    Love…love…love! These women are incredible!
How else can I put this…? These women have given life to BookTok! Because of them I found my book niche. I have discovered SO many books that I wouldn’t have heard of or even looked at if it weren’t for them. This pod is 10/10 and the women that run this show absolutely knock it out of the park. Sometimes I forget I’m listening to them because it feels like they’re right here in my living room. It’s like a girl’s night every time. Love love love!!!
  • kynmckell
    Not for me
I started listening to this because i was on the hunt for a podcast about iron flame. I couldn’t even get though the episode because they mispronounced almost every single name. You’d think if you’re going to do a podcast about a book, especially a second book in a series, you love you would know the names of people and places. The podcast wasn’t bad, just not for me.

I’m giving this 3 stars because there’s one girl (the one with the nasal voice) that talks way too much and overly dominates the conversations. It wouldn’t be too big of a problem if she didn’t give incorrect summaries/details of the books. It makes for a frustrating listening experience.

    Great show!
I was on the hunt for a book pod that made me feel like I was gossiping about books with friends and that’s exactly what this is! I also needed good book recs and they’ve covered so many I haven’t read, so I’m looking forward to reading and gossiping about them! Thank you ladies!

Read it so i don’t have to
I came here to get the plots of books I’m absolutely not going to read but want the tea on since it’s all over booktok. Pretty satisfied. I think you need to guest star Josie from Fine Pairings based on her summary of Mortal Instruments.

    Friends I Didn’t Know I Had
If my friends read smutty romance novels, I imagine this is what we would sound like. I love listening to these ladies - they really crack me up.

    Can’t stop laughing
It’s like having book club besties built in to a weekly podcast! Not only are they hilarious, they cover all the fantasy fan faves. Highly recommend!

I don’t have any friends that like reading like I do and listening to your podcasts makes my day! Thank you for all that you do!

    The smutty climax
I have always been obsessed with smutty paranormal romance. It always seemed hard to join a book club because I have no desire to read anything without smut. The smuttier the better. Well this podcast is for the most part outstanding! Need a fourth? How in the world can I guest speak or become a regular podcaster with y’all? Here are my areas of Glows and Grows Glows- love the dynamic between you ladies. The banter is amazing and the insights on name pronunciation is hysterical. I can’t pronounce names for the life of me! Grows- less in-depth recaps and more discussions around the various aspects of the books. Like favorite parts, least favorite parts, if you could talk to the author what would you say, what was the level of spicyness, some book games and other various topics The way is plays now is a summary then a more detailed summary and sometimes I want to listen to see if the book it worth reading and the way it is now I have to read the book to truly enjoy the show! ——- I really enjoyed Neon Gods and the Greek mythology background! It really makes me think about the books and I learned something new! —— Keep it up!
  • Jesschem
    Finally
It took me too long to find this podcast but I am loving it! When none/few of your friends read these books, it’s hard because you want to talk/hear about them so this podcast is exactly what I needed. Thanks ladies!
  • dncrnrps94
    Loveeeee
Just discovered you guys and just finished binging the ACOTAR episodes and currently listening to the plated prisoner series episodes! I would 100000% subscribe to a YouTube channel if you guys filmed yourself doing these episodes !
  • thebluedesert
    Great Trio!
I just started following your podcast. I found you because of the acotar series. It’s so fun listening to you three recap the books and go over the characters and story. You are doing a great job. Thank you for the podcast.
  • simone_janae
    Love you ladies!!
I love this podcast so much. I swear it’s like a little birdie tells y’all which books I’m reading and next thing I know, the next episode is one I’ve been waiting for. I can’t wait for the rest of the ACOTAR series!
  • Lex22124
    Love you guys buttttt
Hilda’s opinion on Ryder has been ruining these episodes. She’s clearly wrong and so annoying and biased about it.
  • Ahhmehh
    Love love love
Started this podcast for ZA and stayed for the other episodes. Love the commentary, love the predictions, and I feel like we need more wine goggle episodes! Lol. The world definitely needed a BookTok podcast and this delivers 💖

    So good for recaps!
Thank you for the Zodiac Academy recaps! I’m speed listening so I’m prepared (intellectually, emotionally TBD) for book 8. I can’t wait to try some of their other recaps. This is so worth it!!
  • Sarsmith1123
    Binge worthy!
I just spent the weekend listening to these lovely ladies and now feel like we’re besties for the resties. Their conversations are very similar to how my club and I discuss books: thorough yet with all the best tangents and references to other books. 😂 I also love that their staple books are Zodiac Academy/Ruthless Boys and just about anything by Sarah J Maas. Listening to them is a delight and exactly what I need when I need bookish friends to share their thoughts on the books I’ve read.
  • AliOops11
    A must listen!
THEY ARE SO GREAT! love listening to all their recaps after I finish reading. If you love all the books from booktok you have to give them a listen!
  • MoodReader
    Adore this Podcast!
I am a HUGE Zodiac Academy fan and I came across this podcast reading through one of the ZA Facebook groups. I have read every single book these girls have done shows about, and I laugh out loud through every episode. Ladies- it’s like you’re mind-readers with all of your comments. Please do some Crescent City eps!

I am in love with this podcast and I see a little bit of myself in each of you ladies. It also makes me wish I had a group of friends that enjoyed smutty books like I do. I really would love a book club.

    Finally! The Zodiac Academy!
So glad these ladies are tackling this series! I fell in love with the Twisted Sisters during quarantine. I have read allll of their books. Even going back to the V Wars. I’ve listened to some podcasts about The Zodiac Academy, but they were just getting into the series. These ladies are just as obsessed with this world as I am! So delightful. Oh, and Geraldine Grus must be protected at all costs.
