hayleek93FFF Follower & Long Time RunnerWow! These podcasts along with the FFF Instagram posts have been so helpful in my period recovery journey. As some who has been extremely active my entire life I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be able to get my period while still running marathons. I started listening to these podcast a few months ago and by following many of the FFF tips I was able to gain my period back, while still continuing to train for the upcoming Boston Marathon, something I didn’t think would be possible. I reached out to Lindsey about a week ago and told her I would be looking into starting her program in April after one more race. I felt it was time I put running on the back burn and focus on more important aspects of my overall health. She was so helpful and kept sending me emails about recovery tips and told me that we could reconnect about her period recovery program after my race. Little did I know that that by really fueling my body and being okay with gaining some weight over the last few months, I got my period! This was without giving up my training plan, purely fueling my body, more and more everyday until it felt safe enough to get a period! I know this is my story and won’t work the same for everyone but it is possible with the right guidance and encouragement.

LadorefitAmazingly helpful podcast while recovering from HA🫶🏼I’ve been listening to Lindsey’s podcasts for 6 months during HA recovery. This is such a vulnerable, emotionally challenging time that makes me feel like I am all alone. But Lindsey’s story herself as well as interviews with clients show me that I am not alone & recovery IS POSSIBLE. She gave me all new hope to keep up my all in journey & Lindsey is such an inspiration to me as a I hope to be a mother soon.

(<r!$+!nNursing Mama, Relapse, and RecoveryLindsey, her platform, and her podcast are game changers. I found Lindsey in 2021 after losing my period for 5 years. Long story short: I got my period back after 6 weeks and conceived my baby girl 7 months later. Flash forward to 2023 and postpartum, I know I relapsed. As a nursing mama, it’s really easy to blame it on lactation, but breastfeeding can very easily mask HA. I used exercise as my vice and used food as my “controlled environment” in the chaos of motherhood. (I will say I had a “false alarm” with some spotting at 10 months that didn’t help with my habits, but nothing came from that.) When my daughter was nearing 1, we decided we were ready to try again when my period came back. After 2 months of dropping some nursing sessions and no period, I came to terms with HA once again and decided enough was enough. Well four weeks after going “all in” again and binging this podcast and Nicola’s “All In” podcast to keep myself sane throughout, I got my period back WHILE STILL NURSING. I never thought this would be the case, because I convinced myself that I “ruined my body.” But let me tell you: IT’S POSSIBLE! Lindsey, thank you for what you do and your podcast! I hope this review helps people find this and know that it’s possible for them too.

I love the variety of guest speakers Lindsey brings on — past clients, medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, other registered dietitians, and leading scientists on this topic, like Dr. Nicola Rinaldi. It’s refreshing to hear different perspectives come together, providing a balance of hard truths, hope, and healing. I recommend it to any woman, or family member of a woman suffering from HA — or who simply wants to learn more about their cyclical body.

After only 2 weeks of incorporating the methods on this podcast I caught my first ovulation postpartum!!! I am 9 months nursing and thought I would never see my period return. After increasing calories, not weighing myself, and cutting back exercise to only walks/stretching I had a VERY positive LH test. I cannot thank you enough. Best podcast ever and so informative!

summer mastainMust listen!Lindsey is a wealth of knowledge, but also that supportive BFF you need while going through recovery! She offers a good mix of 1) empathy for those coming from a disordered eating background and 2) overwhelming evidence that recovery is the way. Personally I worked with Lindsey and she helped me regain my cycle… and get pregnant on the first try. Real talk!! To anyone out there struggling, you got this!!!

However, I simply do not understand why she would steal the name of another well-established podcast, “Food Freedom and Fertility Podcast”. That is just so weird, like pick a name that isn’t in use already! If this podcast is renamed to a non-plagiarized name I would totally reconsider my review but this is just so odd.
