The Acupuncture Outsider Podcast

12

Sometimes doing what‘s best for the patient will go against dogma and tradition. And sometimes leaning more on science than on dogma will ruffle feathers and contradict the gurus and scholars of Traditional Acupuncture. That‘s OK! There‘s room for many styles and there are enough patients for all of us!I graduated at the top of my class with a Master‘s and a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. I know the benefits of Traditional Acupuncture for many many conditions. But if you want fast and excellent results treating chronic pain, sports injury, over-use injury, flexibility and mobility, that is what I‘m passionate about and I‘m not going to apologize for great results or for sharing what I‘ve learned from Western Medicine using Acupuncture. The topics here will not be controversial unless you insist on holding onto dogma instead of being open to something new to you and that is based in science. If you are interested in my online courses, you can find them at: https://richardhazel.podia.com

    Packed with useful info
This podcast has really opened my eyes to a an amazingly effective way of understanding how to help people with acupuncture! I’m so grateful to Rich for packing in so much useful info for free! I often listen and take notes, or listen multiple times there is just so much and it’s all really helpful. As a new acupuncturist it has boosted my confidence and results amazingly. Highly recommend

    Short, simple and powerful.
I have had the pleasure of being both a student and patient of Rich. I absolutely love this podcast. It’s short with simple yet powerful concepts on different aspects of orthopedic acupuncture. I love that I can listen on my 20 mins drive to the clinic and walk away with clinical pearls that I may not have heard before. Keep them coming!

    Hands down best Acupuncture podcast!
I have been listening to Richard Hazel’s Acupuncture and Dry Needling podcast since it’s inception. I love how clinically applicable and to the point it is. No fluff whatsoever. I really appreciate his generosity making this podcast as well as the great classes and workshops he puts on online or in person.

Orthopedic Motor Points: Acupuncturists, please take note.
I’ve known Rich Hazel as a teacher of Orthopedic Motor Point Acupuncture since 2016, when he generously taught a tiny seminar in Albany NY. I subsequently took all of his in-person, NY-based classes through 2019. During the pandemic, I started enrolling in his Podia online classes, and these are chock-full of amazing content. Highly recommend. Rich is a wonderful person, a terrific and thoughtful teacher, and this podcast is yet another great tool for the acupuncture practitioner seeking to elevate their skills. I strongly recommend some in-person training with him anywhere in the world he’s offering it! And until you can get into a class with him, I feel his online Podia and Podcast content is first-rate.
