Wish you didn’t put spoilers in the title of pod description.

Great show! Reference the knife conversation… didn’t Beth kill Jamie with an old knife? She pulled it from the gun cabinet before heading to Jamie’s house… could that be Spencer’s… used one last time to protect the family…

There should be better out there
I’m baffled that there aren’t better. Yellowstone recap shows out there. Addison can’t put two thoughts together and does absolutely no research on the show. Every episode of the podcast it seems like it’s the first time she’s even heard of Yellowstone. At least Billy comes in having some knowledge of what went on in the episode and an understanding of the plot.

There is a definitely a better Yellowstone podcast!
This show goes on, and on, and on. While there is some information, I may have missed watching the show, their banter is slow , and one of them is clearly not very bright. What are the authorities on?

Love your show. Mr Sundowner explained
Mr Sundowner is there to explain that there were people who still hate and want to kill former slaves. He represents the people who will never accept Bass Reeves or respect them. He could be a beginning seeding the klan.

    Addison and Billy
She makes this podcast lame. Such a ditz. Billy adds a lot to the podcast. I only listen because of Billy. Addison’s silliness is her attempt at covering up her inexperience and lack of knowing what’s going on. She has no insight into the show.

    Kayce’s Long Lost Brother
Thank you all for the complete recap while we wait for more Yellowstone. So hear me out-in listening to the “breaking news” with Cory Asbury’s interview when he stated he’s Kayce’s long lost brother. He didn’t state that he was a long lost Dutton he specifically said Kayce! I don’t think Evelyn or John had an affair or had any kids outside of or before their marriage. What if Evelyn and John adopted not once, but twice and this kid was simply a brother of Kayce’s from his biological parents?? He wouldn’t have any rights to the Dutton money or land.

    Get to the point, please!
Great info, but the hosts are too goofy.... episodes drag on unnecessarily. I do appreciate that time stamps are added to the show notes. I'll keep listening, but with my own eye rolling!

    Too silly
Although there are some good observations on this podcast, there is way too much silliness and giggling! It is annoying. I probably will stop listening.

    Enjoy
Love this extension of the show. What a funny commentary and I love the breakdown of the things I miss! I do watch the episodes at least twice. First pass to quench the thirst-second time to really watch 😀

    Love, listening to the show
Love listening to this show and love Yellowstone in 1923

Love the podcast, but wish the titles didn’t have spoilers!
I love listening, but this has happened several times now where the episode titles (which pop up automatically since I’m subscribed), have contained spoilers. I’m going to have to unsubscribe so it stops popping up for me and spoiling the episodes. :(

    My favorite Yellowstone universe podcast!
I finally figured out how to leave a review, only because I wanted you to know how much I enjoy your podcast. The thoughtful recaps, theories and predictions make me smile. I also really appreciate that when you find out something that contradicts a previous statement or prediction you share the knowledge with us. Thank you & please keep keeping on!

Great takes on every Taylor show!
Look forward to it each week and their analysis is usually spot-on.

    Love your podcast!
All I can say about the new season is that Taylor is leaving out most of the bunkhouse and cowboy scenes. He is going to start loosing viewers. Many people are upset on social media at this!

    Uneducated
These two are talking about a show. They say Casey is a former Marine. No he was not. He was a Navy seal. There’s a navy seal trident on his pick up. If you would watch the show, he would know that also, he says Casey throws a grenade he did not throw a grenade. He threw a flash bang which he would have in his office in his arsenal, if you’re gonna talk about a show at least know what you’re talking about that’s just in the first five minutes of episode one, so I will not be listening to this podcast. You’re going to host a podcast do your research

    I enjoy listening
Good podcast! Giving 4 stars bc Addison, while she is adorable, talks to the audience like we’re preschoolers. We watch Yellowstone people - I think the hosts should allow themselves to cuss and not tiptoe around what language to use when discussing sex scenes etc. Their sense of humor is very corny (cringe at times) but addison and billy have good chemistry. Addison should try loosening up a bit! I enjoy listening. ALSO - I appreciated billy calling attention to Forrie J Smith being an anti-vaxxer.

    1883
It’s Ennis not Wade that Elsa loves, Hope y’all figured that out. 2/16/22 I see you guys figured it out. And you called me out yesterday. I’m really enjoying the podcast. Keep up the great work. I love 1883 so much more than Yellowstone and looking forward to the 1932 prequel!

    1883 episode 1
First of all, thank you for this podcast! It’s great! Have you noticed that the Indian that Elsa kills in the first episode looks very much like Sam??

Yellowstone is great, but .. ..
1883 is better and is the best western series ever .. .. Great Pod and great coverage .. .. THANKS

    Last Ep of Yellowstone
Love your podcast but….the reason Beth tells Carter he can’t call her “momma”…is because Rip told her: “ He’s not our son and he never will be that..”. So it wasn’t Beth being heartless..she just remembered what Rip told her.

    Billy Dukes Blegh.
I don’t know how poor Addison sits there and has a conversation with Billy Dukes week after week. He gives major sexist, condescending, arrogant, and jealous vibes. I’ve listened to a few episodes and sadly have to un- subscribe. Do better Billy Dukes. Addison you could carry this podcast on your own. Ditch Dukes. His sexist micro aggressions aren’t gone un noticed. If I was one of the actors on these shows I’d be so upset about the way Billy talks about me and my craft. I feel like I can hear Addison back peddling many of Billy’s cringe and problematic comments.

    Dutton rules: 1883
I love the break down and the insight about the characters and the actors themselves. Very informative and entertaining podcast!

    Taylor Sheridan
Taylor Sheridan has sooo much talent !! Question: does he have any cowboy/rodeo background?

To much consideration of the present
Seems like to much focus on how life is different now. What is interesting is how life and culture was different and that modern considerations are fine to point. But looking at historical life and comparing to prism of today as a main theme seems wanting. A more historical focus would be better. People on the plains 150 years ago were not like us. Relationship interactions etc. what is the point of expecting people to interact more like today. Then it would be 2021 not 1883.

    Insightful podcast
I love all the recaps and opinions of my 2 favorite tv shows. It’s also weird hearing my high school friend’s name mentioned - LaMonica Garrett. Sooooooo proud of him. He was consistently one of the kindest, sincerest people I’d known, and although I didn’t know him as well as others, he was always so cool and nice and chill. I’m so proud of him and seeing him in the limelight, you can still tell he’s humble and a genuine spirit. Keep the podcast up! It’s a great fix for the time I have to wait in between episodes.

    Why?
--Why is this podcast so overproduced? Scale it back. --Why is there a long rambling opening for each episode? Skip the prehype. --Why is the host always “teasing” the next topic? It’s a podcast, not a newscast. --Why are we constantly being told we are listening to the Dutton Rules podcast? This a podcast we opted into, not a radio station we happened upon. --Why is the one host interviewing the other host about interviewing? Just play the cast interviews. Skip the prehype and repetitive post interview analysis.

    Tim McGraw is a phony
Tim McGraw is a left wing anti gunner. Playing a gun wielding character. He should not be taken seriously.

    Great podcast
Great breakdowns and analysis of the episodes plus really cool interviews with the actual actors! Can't wait for the weekly podcast now that 1883 has started.

    Impressive
This is an extremely enjoyable podcast. Done with informed individuals in a very professional manner. Definitely listen!

    Trying Too Hard
I love the show so I like the concept of this podcast, but the way it’s presented is too over the top. It feels disingenuous…like bad acting. Tone it down a little and speak conversationally. That would improve this podcast. A lot.

    Super Excited About This Podcast!
Found you on YouTube after the 3rd episode tonight! Love the recap and digging into the plot. Can’t get enough of this family dynamics and characters on the ranch. Great writing & producing! Excited to see the prequel 1883. Thanks for the conversations!
