I started listening to the show from a recent shout out/ introduction from One a Day Talmud _ I’m in the early process of conversion to Judaism and although my father is Jewish, I have little exposure to the thoughts, culture and practice. Kylie is just so wonderful! She’s honest and open about the basic thoughts and struggles all spiritual individuals have. Her podcast is well organized and her guests and speakers are equally honest and give great insight into what it means to be human and what it means to be a Jew. I am so happy to have found her show and can’t wait to hear what more she has to say! Thanks so much Kylie- keep up the phenomenal work Amanda

I am coming up on 10 years of a page a day of Daniel Matt’s translation of the Zohar (about 4 more years to completion). The Zohar is largely a seforic commentary on the Torah. With deepest gratitude, 49 days enhanced my soul searching in ways I never imagined. Kol Hakavod

This show really helps me connect with the counting of the Omer and I love how many short episodes there are! The interviews with Dosi (not sure how to spell her name) are always a highlight! I also love how this show stays true to authentic Judaism!

Thank you Kylie for sharing your personal journey with us! I have really enjoyed each episode because it is so personal and real about the daily joys and struggles. Your guests have been fantastic too. This has been my favorite Omer so far since the first time I was introduced to the counting of the Omer in 2018. Since then I have read various takes / books on it and your podcast is such a lovely addition this year! You encouraged me to put away the books and take full ownership of the counting in whatever form it takes for me. I decided to just hold on to the small book Sefiros by Yaakov Haber with Rabbi David Sedley for my daily reflections. Just one book, your podcast and myself. It’s simple and I like it so much. Again, thanks for sharing your experience in such a first person manner.

I love this idea for a show, and am already a big Kylie fan so that’s a bonus! So far I’ve listened to three episodes and especially enjoyed the comparison of prayer to poetry, and the concept of physically relaxing oneself as a prelude to prayer. Great conversations.

Love the message about making prayer specific for you and your values, your particular life situation and your honest needs (not just being with Nick Jonas!). I check in daily with prayer. Sometimes it clicks, most times not as much. But the consistency gives me the comfort knowing that when the moment hits, I’m already in the relationship and mode with God

I am already intrigued from the first episode and can’t wait to hear more!
