It’s very “anti-men” but I urge you to look past that and listen intently to the process and guidance as it’s invaluable to prepare yourself for what to expect and how best to manage your own emotions and get through a divorce more easily regardless of what stage you are at in the process.

Just started on this podcast after reading a Profile on Morgan Stogsdill in Hinsdale Living magazine in a hospital waiting room. Fast paced, with smart women, thoughtful and specialized information covering many themes in divorce. Guests on the show add a deeper dive into certain topics scd resources, and I am marking this as a podcast to download lots of episodes for while I do summer yardwork. Really enjoying.

The ladies are wonderful because they approach a subject that can be explosively touchy with dignity, compassion, tough love, honesty, and a touch of humor. It’s like a conversation with the listener. I am currently mulling over where I stand in my marriage and they seem to have an episode for each question I have and every emotion I’m feeling. Andrea and Morgan are smart, witty, engaging, and connected to this cause. They are authetic in their desire to help people and I feel that deeply. May they succeed in spades!

Maybe I’m not in the most positive frame of mind right now, because I am in the beginning stages of a divorce and I’m terrified beyond measure, but I just finished listening to season one episode three on moving out and found it extremely unhelpful and a bit insensitive. I would guess that most people getting a divorce and listening to this podcast are not in abusive situations and/or are not fighting over ketchup bottles in the fridge. Was hoping for something a little more helpful and empathetic on the topic of moving out. Instead I left with ‘get a good mediator and lawyer’ and ‘it could be worse, you could be sawing your house in half like this couple in Cambodia.’ I apologize for the negative comment. Surely I just hit on one of the less useful episodes. Thanks for your content and for helping people navigate these waters.

Morgan and Andrea are literally your divorce best friends. So interesting, funny and real. If you want real action steps listen in. Makes you feel less alone.

Just Started the divorce process with No one to talk to about it. All my friends are married and have never been through what I’m going through. Listening to this podcast is like having a conversation with your best friends except they have good advice and information lol. Although I am not currently going through a divorce, this podcast delivers great advice! The most recent episodes with Bill Eddy give a simplified perspective for handling confrontational people in any kind of situation. Apart from the substance, that hosts are personable! They both lighten and rationalize the reality of divorce. Can’t wait for Season 3!
