Dr. QuinnCast: The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman Podcast

14

They said a woman doctor couldn’t make it on the new frontier, but here we are to talk about the trials and tribulations of Dr. Mike and Co.! Come along as Kelly, a seasoned viewer of the classic ‘90’s television series, joins Mark from Walnut GroveCast on his first journey through the show! A mutual obsession with Little House on the Prairie first brought Kelly and Mark together. After collaborating on several Prairie-related projects, Mark has agreed to take the exploration of the Prairie to the Colorado Rockies. Bring along the scalpels and the chloroform as we apply our love of television and bygone eras--and a set of fresh eyes-- to take a new look at Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and its wide range of themes, fascinating characters, tragedy, and humorous moments!

    My favorite podcast
Love this podcast! I’ve watched DQMW my entire life so I love “re watching” with Kelly and Mark. You have to listen to a few episodes to get into the jokes, music clips, etc., but it’s so worth it- I laugh out loud throughout episodes.

    Kelly & Mark
If you don’t mind long podcast episodes, nor your favorite show being both appreciated and poked fun at, then The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman podcast is for you! Kelly & Mark are so entertaining and fun to listen to. With many podcasts, I chuckle. With this one, I am often roaring laughing!! I first “met” Kelly & Mark on another podcast. And when I discovered they created this one, I began watching DQMW for the first time ever just to hear their podcast. DQMW is an excellent show as is this podcast also. Give it a listen!

    The BEST!
I look forward to this podcast every time it comes out. In fact, Kelly and Mark are the people who got me interested in watching Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, because I loved their banter on episodes of the Walnut Grovecast podcast!

    Funny to the bone
This is the funniest podcast ever, funny to the bone. Could use more Pa Ingalls, but otherwise perfection.

Mark & Kelly bring new life to this 1990s show as they dive into the details of each episode. They discuss character development & the small things, such as where Sully keeps his suit when he’s not being fancy & how he affords his hair highlights. Very excited to hear future episode reviews as well as possible cast interviews! I’m grateful that Kelly & Mark have created a community of listeners to discuss all things Dr. Quinn & I highly recommend listening to this podcast!

So glad there is finally a DQMW podcast that is cool!
I’ll be the first to admit that Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman is a guilty pleasure and when I listened to podcasts about DQMW in the past I felt left out since the shows were always hosted by just women! Some of my favorite podcasts are hosted by women so it isn’t a sexist thing, it’s more along the lines of a “hey include me too!” thing. Listening to the other shows gave me the feeling a dad might have at a mostly female PTA meeting. Kelly and Marc seem like people I went to high school with who would talk about MST2K and make fun comments about pop culture. Kelly is the expert and Marc is the n00b and the time flies - it’s a strong start and I hope the podcast continues for a long time!
