I was so ready to love this podcast, but there is no critique going on, no in depth analysis of any kind, to be honest none of them ever even have a solid opinion! Someone just makes a very obvious statement about the movie, and the other two give an unenthusiastic “mmm… yuuuuh…”. They don’t even give their experienced opinions as people who work in the film industry! Sad to say all in all it was very very underwhelming.

I live in an area where it feels like winter goes on forever. The weather is finally getting nice and I just found this podcast. It’s perfect for Getting outside and just having some nice to listen to. It’s funny, charming and insightful. I couldn’t ask for anything more.😊

Most film critics are either too ignorant or too over the top. But they balance it out and give the film a chance, even if other critics completely disagree. I’d personally recommend this show, as well as Microwave Society, since they both give the movie a chance before picking it apart.

It’s an absolute joy listening to these three young people discuss such a variety of films. It feels like such an organic, honest, and genuine conversation. I kinda feel like it’s just friends talking in a coffee shop about a movie they saw and I’m just talking in my bedroom along with them lol!

Find it insubstantial and they miss key points of films, but I see why it would have great appeal to people wanting to hear friends discuss movies.

I work in the film industry and since listening to this podcast I’ve never felt so HEARD. I always felt as if I was behind in what I knew about film in general or had a different view of what was going on when I would listen to my coworkers conversations. Listening to this podcast makes me feel like I’m sitting right there apart of the Frank Club liberating my opinions and views in a judgment free zone! I also enjoy watching and analyzing films they are recommending. LOVE IT, KEEP IT UP!!!

It’s easy to listen to these women and think they’re just a bunch of giggling girls at a sleepover, but doing that, you ignorantly ignore 4 friends having a great time together talking film, and more importantly making some real insightful takes - Listen, and you’ll learn something, and have fun! What more do you want from a podcast?

Films and commentary are excellent

Ever since the pandemic began, I’ve been looking for networking clubs and opportunities. I’ve been wanting to be a part of a book club, but then Frank Film Club came around, and it’s certainly shaping up to be the next best thing! I’m the biggest film nerd in my small social circle, so it’s been tough to find a group who wants to discuss films in depth. What better way than with industry insiders? This honestly couldn’t have come about at a better time, I can’t wait for the episodes where the hosts dive in. To the hosts: congratulations on launching the Podcasts! I’ll be looking forward to the great content that will follow!
