I love this podcast. I’m a musician in a Cincinnati, OH based cover band at night and a delivery driver during the day. This podcast is the only one I have been listening to since I found it recently. Highly Recommend! I am surprised that Butch Walker and/or the Marvelous 3 haven’t been mentioned in any episodes (at least so far into my listening) considering that the podcast is based out of Atlanta, GA, but I’ll let that slide. Keep up the great work!

I stumbled across this podcast a couple weeks ago searching for music from 1994. I’ve gone back to listen to the beginning and haven’t stopped. I love the stories the music, of course, and the conversations my new favorite podcast for anyone who loves music. This is truly fun and enjoyable to listen to. I have started creating playlists based on the Perfect Album Side.

So look forward to the weekly musings of these two. Not only is it an hour of musical flashbacks, but the backstory education is over-the-top entertaining. Definitely worth the subscription price and all 5 stars!!! Nothing better than the banter with occasional drops of priceless comments about bands and artists like “I like his balls!” - WP

I love when I see a new episode in my library. They have unique topics and bring up songs from the past that totally fell off my radar. I enjoyed the tv commercial episode.

S&W have really matched my demographic. Someone dropped the ball on the clean rating lately, though. Looking forward to future topics.

Since I have lived in Athens since 1983 I wanted to hear this episode. You mentioned several bands that I had forgotten about so it was great to hear those names again! However, you forgot to include one of the most iconic musicians ever to come out of Athens~ the one and only Vic Chesnutt. He was truly a legend and no album about Athens would be complete without him! Thank You!

Steve and Windham did a great job on episode five reliving the glory days of MTV and some of the videos most associated with big hits. I found myself nodding along, shaking my head, laughing, and cursing at my phone all within about a 20 minute span! They’d clearly done their research beyond just their own particular memories and that added a lot to the show. I won’t give too much of it away but there were w couple of omissions IMO. Where was Tom Petty, Guns n Roses, and/or Madonna. The Perfect Album Side definitely makes for great debate! Well done, gentlemen!

It’s fun to be a fly on the wall for their conversations, and they do a great job keeping things interesting & adding fun facts about their selections.

Brilliant! These guys are not only great at breaking down their decided weekly topics but are also VERY funny and entertaining. This podcast is hilarious and professionally organized with a passion for music at the forefront.

I listened to the last episode while doing yard work. When I finished the podcast, I felt like I spent the afternoon at a bar with my buddies as opposed to cleaning out a clogged sewer pipe. I call that a win! The back and forth discussion, music clips, and the great topics are fantastic. Can’t wait till the next episode is out!
